LYNN BARTLOW
Lynn Bartlow, 83, of 5580 Brown Street in Graceville died Sunday Jan. 28, 2001 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan after a brief illness. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 31, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Graceville, with the Rev. Ken Harrison and Dr. E. W. Ware officiating. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Graceville, with Byrd-Williams Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mr. Bartlow was born May 13, 1917 in Bellgrade, Mo. He lived in several other central Missouri towns until leaving home to attend college at Murray State Teachers College in Murray, Ken. After graduating from college, he taught high school band in Kentucky before returning to Missouri where he continued to work with high school bands and various church music programs. Shortly after his return to Missouri, he met his wife of 55 years, Edith Long Bartlow. After several more years in Missouri, he entered graduate school at the University of Kentucky. After graduation and some additional graduate work at Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia, Ark., he returned to teach high school band in St. Louis, Mo. He then moved to Hattisburg, Miss. to organize and lead the marching band at Williams-Carey College. He then taught public school music in Liberty, Miss. while attending the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After seminary graduation, he moved to Graceville, Fla. where he headed the music department at Florida Baptist College and led music programs in many local churches until his retirement in 1982. Mr. Bartlow was a member of the Graceville Lions Club and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Graceville. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bob Bartlow and Bonnie of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lois B. Richardson and Bill of Panama City, and Carloyn B. Adams and Melvin of Graceville; seven grandchildren: Rob and Eric Bartlow. Brad and Cara Richardson, Rod and Jason Adams, and Mandy Adams Williams; a brother, Jim Bartlow of Viburnum, Mo.; a special niece, Sue McFarland; and another nephew and niece. Serving as active pallbearers will be Rob Bartlow, Rob Adams, Brad Richardson, Eric Bartlow, Jason Adams and Clint Williams.

THADDEUS J. 'TED' BARTNICK
Mr. Thaddues J. "Ted" Bartnick, age 85, husband of Jeanne Tessier Bartnick, died Jan. 27, 2001, at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born in Cohoes, N.Y. Mr. Bartnick was a graduate of Waterford High School and in 1932 to 1933 was a member of Waterford champion varsity basketball team and the soccer championship team. Mr. Bartnick was an avid bowler and golfer. In 1948 to 1950 he was Grand Knight of the Cohoes Council No. 192 of the Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Cohoes, N.Y., as well as St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, Panama City Beach. Mr. Bartnick worked as a salesman for Graves and Rodgers Liquor, Inc. in Albany, N.Y., for 34 years before retirement. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Mary Bartnick and his brothers, Edmund and Edward Bartnick. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sisters, Stasia Mendel of Watervliet, N.Y., and Helen Hoff of Albany, N.Y. A Rosary and funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 30, at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church with Father David O'Shea, pastor, officiating.

ANN KNIGHT CASSIDY
Mrs. Ann Knight Cassidy, age 65, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at her residence. She was a native of Birmingham, Ala., and had lived in Panama City Beach for three years, moving here from Maryland. Mrs. Cassidy was a full-time mom, homemaker and a former employee of Hayes Aircraft Corp. She is survived by her husband, James C. Cassidy of Panama City Beach; three sons, Michael Cassidy of Anaconda, Mont., and James C. Cassidy II and James Patterson, both of Panama City Beach; three daughters, Suzanne Cassidy of Birmingham, Ala., and Sidney Behnke and Marcie Moore, both of Panama City Beach; a granddaughter, April Cassidy of Birmingham; a sister, Rachel Jane Lavey of Birmingham; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Peggy Turner of Birmingham, Britt and Rose Gray of Fort Washington, Md., and Linda, Eric, Kyle and Sean Fritz of Prince Frederick, Md. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, at Mrs. Cassidy's residence, 211 E. Lakeshore Drive, Panama City Beach, FL.

Mr. Michael "Mike" Ralph Clark Jr., 34, of Chipley, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at his residence. Born in Morgantown, W.Va., he moved to this area in 1986 where he was a self-employed dry-wall contractor and attended Southport Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Tina Clark of Chipley; parents, Ralph Clark of Morgantown and Edith Morris of Spraggs, Pa.; three sons, Michael Lee Clark and Brentley Clark, both of Morgantown, and Stephen Drake Clark of Chipley; one daughter, Jacquelyn Cooper of Eastpoint, Fla.; three stepsons, James Boyers, Michael Boyers and Robert Lee Boyers Jr.; and their mother Charolette Marshall, all of Panama City; three brothers, Stacey Clark of Chester, W.Va., Stephen Clark of Washington, Pa., and James Clark of Kirby, Pa.; as well as a host of close friends. Memorial service for Mr. Clark will be conducted today, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel in Lynn Haven.

KIMBERLY MICHELLE COLLIER
Miss Kimberly Michelle Collier, 17, of Panama City, Fla, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, in a Pensacola, Fla., health care facility. Born in Atlanta, Ga., she moved here in 1990. She was a student and a Christian. Her father, Johnny Collier, and her grandmother, Katie McDonald, precede her in death. Miss Collier is survived by her mother, Audrey M. Collier of Panama City; four brothers, Chris McCullough, Jeffrey Post and wife Stephanie, Eric Post, all of Panama City, and John Collier Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; nephew, Zackary Post of Panama City; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. in Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may pay their respects at Mrs. Audrey Collier's home, 3707 E. FREDA R. DENNIS
Ms. Freda R. Dennis, age 61, of 3200 3rd St., Panama City, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at a local hospital. She had been a resident of the area since 1984, coming here from Oberlin, Ohio. Ms. Dennis was a factory worker for The Natural Light, a lamp factory based in Lynn Haven for 11 years. She enjoyed walking on the beach and shopping. She was a collector of jewelry and sea shells. Ms. Dennis is survived by her husband, Bob Kelley of Panama City; a daughter, Trudy Steadham and her husband Chuck of Birmingham; a sister, Mildred Veith of Long Beach, Calif.; brothers, Clarence "Brownie" Bennett and his wife Debbie of Elyria, Ohio, Carl Bennett and his wife Fran of Pennsylvania, and Jackie Bennett of Elyria, Ohio; and grandchildren, Sean Steadham and Shannon Steadham. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 2, at Meadow Brook Memory Garden in Villa Rica, Ga. Mr. Elmore "E.C." Holloman, 65, of Panama City, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, in a local hospital. Born in North Carolina, he moved here in 1975 from Alaska. He was a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Holloman is survived by his mother, Mary Holloman of Panama City; his wife, Dorothy Holloman of Panama City; one son, Jerry Hollomon and wife Sandy of Virginia Beach, Va.; one daughter, Shelia Holloman of Panama City; one sister, Doris Jones of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren, Zach and Sarah Holloman, Breanna Arsenault. Ms. Diana M. LeDoux, 101, of Southport, Fla., died Friday evening, Jan. 26, 2001, in a local nursing home. WANDA FOREHAND PALO
Wanda Forehand Palo, 54, of Pensacola, passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Vernon, Fla., and grew up in Michigan. In 1984, she and her family moved to Pensacola. She managed Maytag and Corry Field Laundromats in Warrington for eight years. Wanda was an avid bowler and was past secretary and president of the Happy Hour Bowling League. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Jim Forehand of Chipley, Fla., in 1988; and her brother, Herman (Sonny) Weeks of Plant City, Fla., in 1993. She is survived by her mother, Zola Forehand of Chipley, Fla.; husband, Carl; daughter, Kristin, both of Pensacola; daughter, Wanda McGrath and husband Rob of Orlando; granddaughters, Leyna and Casie McGrath; brother, Sherman Weeks of Jones, Mich.; sisters, Glenda J. (Josie) Scott of Chipley, Fla., and Mrs. James (Mary) McKnight of Wewahitchka, Fla.; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Donations may be sent to The Hospice of Northwest Florida or the American Cancer Society, in memory of Wanda. Final disposition will be private and at a later date.

Graveside funeral servies will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Panama City on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. CST, with interment to follow. Ask to serve as pallbearers are Larry Burch, Joe Carl Lindsey, Tim Newsome, Johnny Evans and Josh Evans. She will lie in state at the cemetery for 30 minutes before the funeral.

Mrs. Mickey Townley, age 78, of Gulfport, Miss., died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, in Fountain, Fla. Mickey loved and cared for her family with all the love and devotion a wife, mother and grandmother could give. She was preceded in death by her wonderful, loving husband of 55 years, Homer Townley, in April of 1997. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Crider Palmer; her stepfather, Owen Palmer; her father, Claude Crider; her only brother, Mack Crider; and her aunt and uncle, Ruby and Rimmer Simpson. ELIZABETH THOMPSON WEAVER
Elizabeth Thompson "Boots" Weaver, born April 5, 1916, in Columbia, Ala., died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, in Panama City, Fla. Prior to moving to Panama City, she and her late husband lived in Tallahassee for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Louie Wolfe Weaver. Also preceding were her parents, Coy and Flossie Freeman Thompson; two sisters, Ida and Mary; and a brother, Amos. She is survived by her son, Gene (Paula) Weaver and three grandchildren, Christian, Candace, and Colin of Panama City. Also surviving are her sister, Blanche; and brother, Sam of Columbia, numerous nephews and nieces, especially her ever-attentive niece, Jackie Armagost of Panama City. Graveside services will be conducted by Fr. Tom Weller at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make a contribution to Florida Sheriff's Youth Fun, Boy's Ranch, Fla. 32064 in memory of Elizabeth Weaver.
