Mrs. Louise Bailey, age 75, of Blountstown, Fla., died early Friday morning, April 5, 2002, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. Mrs. Bailey was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a homemaker and a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Kinard, Fla. Survivors include three sons, Ivey Bailey of Blountstown, Karl Bailey of Blountstown, Lewis Bailey Jr. and wife, Naoko, of Tallahassee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and James Howard of Port St. Joe, Doreen and James Wynn of Fort Gaines, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, at 2 p.m. CDT in Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Kinard, Fla., with the Rev. Paul Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery in Kinard. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. CDT at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown. Mrs. Bailey's grandsons will serve as her pallbearers. All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, Fla.

CLAUDE "DONNIE B." CREAMER
Mr. Claude "Donnie B." Creamer, age 60, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 4, 2002, at his residence. Born in Southport, he had been a commercial fisherman, shrimper, and had lived all his life in Bay and Franklin counties. He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse. Mr. Creamer is survived by his wife, Karen M. Creamer of Panama City; his children, Donnie Gregory "Greg" Creamer and his wife, Regina, Sheila Samples, and Steven Walter Creamer and his wife, Christine, all of Panama City; stepchildren, Dwayne Pettis and his wife, Cathie, of Cleveland, Tenn., Wanda Gonzalez and her husband, Michael, of Beaufort, S.C., and Steven Amos Pettis and his wife, Nina, of Panama City; brothers, Willard "Junior" Creamer and his wife, Shirley, Charles Creamer and his wife, Thelma, Quention Creamer and his wife, Angela, Tommy Creamer and his wife, Margie, and Mark Creamer, all of Apalachicola, Fla.; sisters, Merle Odom and her husband, C.L., Cathie Bently and her husband, Bo, and Maida Gilbert and her husband, David, all of Eastpoint, Fla.; and grandchildren, Cegea Samples, Zachary Samples, McKenzie Creamer, Liagh Thompson, Steven, Danielle, and Brendon Pettis, Jeremiah, Haylee, and Amber Gonzalez, and Kaylee Pettis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Polly Creamer. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, April 6, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnnie Cromer officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Earl Newton, Roger Newton, Jimmy Newton, Gary Creamer, Jeff Creamer, and Mike Dasher.

NELLIE V. DANIELS
Mrs. Nellie V. Daniels, 57, of 1879 County 381, Wewahitchka, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in her home. She was a lifelong resident of Wewahitchka. She attended and graduated from Carver High School in Wewahitchka. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Daniels of Wewahitchka; two daughters, Martiniquie Daniels and Cassidie Daniels, both of Wewahitchka; son, Donnie Daniels of Wewahitchka; four sisters, Dollie Martin, Minnie Martin and Geneva Johnson, all of Minnesota, and Lossie M. Gainer of Wewahitchka; three grandchildren, Donnie, Keyonia and Isiah; five aunts, Francis Robinson and Rosetta Sanders, both of Panama City, Rebecca Clemmons of Griffin, Ga., Leaola Freeman of Blountstown and Mae Ola Boud of Newark, N.J.; seven brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Daniels will be held Monday, April 8, at 2 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church in Wewahitchka with Bishop A.E. Cutler officiating. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery in Wewahitchka. A wake service will be held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church in Wewahitchka. The remains will lie in state at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1879 County 381, Wewahitchka, Fla.

Funeral services for Ms. Linda Gail Hall, 53, of Lynn Haven, will be conducted today, April 6, 2002, at 10 a.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Ms. Hall's nephews will serve as active pallbearers: Jimmy Mason Collins, Hassell Arthur Collins, Kenneth Scott Jenkins, Jeffrey Craig Randall and Jack Jason Collins. Mrs. Cora Jean Berry James, 64, of 1023 Kurze Ave., died March 28, 2002, in a local nursing center. She is survived by relatives and special friends (including Sarah Wagner). Funeral services for Mrs. James will be held today, April 6, at 1 p.m. in Antioch Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. John Gipson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church today, April 6, from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Lynn Dunn Cox, age 66, of Lynn Haven, daughter of Royal C. and Verna C. Dunn, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2002, at a local hospital. She was born March 10, 1936, in Tampa, Fla. Mrs. Cox was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lynn Haven and also attended the Family of God Church. She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Davis Dutcher of Flowery Branch, Ga.; two sons, Jeffery Davis of Tallahassee, and Tracy Davis of Lynn Haven; two brothers, Larry Dunn of Orlando, and Royal Dunn of Lynn Haven; one stepdaughter, Norma Maddux of Greenhead, Fla.; one stepson, Michael Cox of Greenhead, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Kristen, Morgan, Ambra, Corey, Matthew, Chasity, Dwayne, Tyler and Courtney; two nephews, Chuck Dunn of Miami and Patrick Dunn of Orlando; and one niece, Diane Petty of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Edward Cox. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Gashlin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, April 9, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow at Lynn Haven Cemetery.

ROBERT WAYNE LOWE
CW3 Robert Wayne Lowe, retired, 59 of 4024 Deer Point Lake Drive, Panama City, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2002, in a local hospital. Mr. Lowe was a lifelong resident of Panama City and a Protestant by faith. He retired from the United States Army. Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, Audrey "Bobbie" Lowe of Panama City; one stepdaughter, Sheila A. Bond of Callaway; two brothers, Lowell Lowe and wife, Lanaz, and Lamar Lowe and wife, Georgia, all of Panama City; three grandchildren, David Bond III and wife, Diana, Alice Bond and Angela Bond; and three great-grandchildren, David Bond IV, Audrey Bond and Trey Bond. Funeral services for Mr. Lowe will be conducted Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home with Chaplain Lt. Alan Swindel officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association or to the Parkinson's Disease Association in memory of Mr. Lowe.

Mrs. Tommie D. Nowlin of Panama City passed away Sunday, April 7, 2002, in a local hospital. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. The family headquarters will be at the home of Billie and Ricky Ard at 230 Main Ave., Millville, Fla.

MINNIE L. POWERS
Mrs. Minnie L. Powers, age 83, of Midland City, Ala., died at her residence Sunday morning, April 7, 2002, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at the Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with the Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 8, 2002, at the funeral home. Mrs. Powers was a native of Coffee County, having lived in Dale County for several years and was a member of Chalkhead Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Powers, in 1973; and her son, William Powers, in 1984. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley Ann Tarter, wife of the late Wyatt Tarter, of Midland City, Ala., Marilyn Holland and husband, James G. Holland, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Evelyn Fields and husband, Eddie Fields, of Dothan, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Brenda Powers of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Pearl Tyler of Enterprise, Ala.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36301.
