Mr. Henry King Herod "Sugarman" Stallworth, 67, of 308 Martin Luther King Blvd., Port St. Joe, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, in Gulf Pines Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Stallworth will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002, in the Church of God in Christ at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

MELVIE GRACE FERRELL TYLER WARE
Melvie Grace Ferrell Tyler Ware, 69, of 510 E. 13th St., died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at her home. She was a native of Pigeon Creek, Ala., and a resident of Panama City for 41 years. She was co-owner and operator of Ware's Union 76 and an employee of the Bay County School Board's Transportation Department. She was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her death. She was a member of the Christian Band of Benevolence and a former member and Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, T.W. Morrison Chapter 147. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Edward William Ware Sr.; two sons, Lewis Weston Tyler Jr. and Edward William Ware Jr.; and two grandchildren, Stephen Donnell Cox and Baby Girl Cox. She is survived by her aunt, Bessie Mae Ferrell of Andalusia, Ala.; 10 children, Lillian T. Cox (Dea. George), Francie T. Peace (Dea. Johnny), LaSonya Ware and Wanda Ware, all of Panama City, Jerome Tyler (Pauline) of Columbus, Ga., Diana T. Daniels (Sam) of Atlanta, Ga., Willie James Ware (Margaret) of Gainesville, Robert Ware (Jeanette) of Atlanta, Ga., Patricia McClendon (David) of Jacksonville, and Eugene Ware (Lois) of Panama City; one adopted daughter, Mia Harrell of Panama City; 29 grandchildren, Shannon Tyler, Shannon Peace, Christina Peace, Shauntain Parker, Cedric Peace (Renae), Reginald Cox, Michael Cox (Bridgett), Yvette Ware, Reginia Ware, Sharron Ware, Patricia Ware, Melissa Ware, Willie James Ware Jr., Andrae Ware, Chawanna Ware, Karen Ware, Pamela Ware, Aundrae Ware, Femisha Ware, Eugene Ware Jr., David McClendon Jr., Allen McClendon, Nurie Ware, Brittni Ware, Lincoln Ware, Coreatha Glenn, Melody Ware, Tarmace Ware and Jarrick Ware; 20 great-grandchildren; two godchildren, Jolanda Truitt and Shane Gardner; one sister, Mattie Bell Hayes of Panama City; four sisters-in-law, Edna Guilford (Grover), Willie Mae Ware, both of Panama City, Thelma Denson (James) of Birmingham, Ala., and Betty Joyce Beal (Reginald) of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother-in-law, Mitchell Tyler of Birmingham, Ala. ; two uncles, Robert L. Owens (Vera) of Lakeland and Nathaniel Owens (Aldonia) of Somerset, N.J.; special cousins, Callie Maxwell and Paul Brundidge, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Mae Ossie House of Buffalo, N.Y., and Bobbie Hudson (Billie) of Ocala; special friends, Daisy Patterson, Lenzy Youman, Geraldine Gainer, Annie L. Peterson, Buelah Bowers, and Julia Roulhac, all of Panama City; and a myriad of other cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ware will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 1 p.m. in Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph McCalister, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. A wake service will be held today at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. and the remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. The family will receive relatives and friends at 510 E. 13th St.

Funeral services for Mr. Royce Franklin Phillips, who passed away Monday, May 20, 2002, will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 24, at Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Si Mathison officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Matthew Phillips, David Phillips, Samuel Phillips, Harold Phillips Jr., Michael Phillips, and Lee Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Boilermakers Local No. 199.

Daniel Curtis "Dan" Jones, 48, of Wewahitchka, passed away in Gulf Pines Hospital on Friday, May 24, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his parents, Betty Mae and Spud Hilton of Wewahitchka; two older brothers, Freddie Jones of Wewahitchka, and Stephen Jones and wife, Brenda, of Parker; three younger sisters, Debbie Croft and husband, Tim, of Port St. Joe, Bettiann Daniels and husband, Tommy, of Wewahitchka, and Patty Redd and husband, David, of Wewahitchka; four nieces, Crystal and Heather Baker of Wewahitchka, Audrey Jones of Atlanta, Ga., and Jennifer Dunlap and fiance, Jonathan Brown, of Callaway; one nephew, Jamie Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; one great-nephew; two great-nieces; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at New Harvest Fellowship Church on State 22 in Wewahitchka on Sunday, May 26, at 2 p.m. CDT with the Rev. Claude McGill officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery. Mr. Jones will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. A viewing will be held today, May 25, at Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe from 6 to 8 p.m. CDT.

LILLIAN INEZ ELDRIDGE
Lillian Inez Eldridge, 74, died May 23, 2002, in her home. She was a retired school bus driver for the Bay County school system. She had been a resident of Bay County since 1947, moving here from Bonifay, Fla. She was preceded in death by Mary Kay Eldridge and Debra Eldridge. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Gene Eldridge; children, Nyoka Robinson (Robby), Pat Key (Jerry), Shelia Hollis (Victor), David Eldridge (Monica) and Josephine Mason; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Minister G. Warren and the Rev. David Price officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 2589 Jenks Ave., Panama City, Fla. 32405, in memory of Lillian Inez Eldridge.

Mrs. Doris A. Chellberg of Panama City passed away Thursday, May 23, 2002, at her residence. Born in Sweden, she moved to Panama City in 1973. Mrs. Chellberg was a homemaker, loving wife, and mother who enjoyed life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Johnny Chellberg; son, Rolf Kjellberg; and brother, Leroy Hedstrom. Mrs. Chellberg is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tulli Kjellberg of Sweden; beloved and loving dog, Kelly; and beloved friends, Pete and Sue Elliott of Panama City, Geoff, Thuy and Steven Elliott of Chipley, Fla., and April Elliot of Panama City. Memorialization will be by cremation.

MOZELLE 'MO' FREED
Mrs. Mozelle, "Mo" Freed, age 78, of Panama City, passed away May 22, 2002, at a local hospital. She was born in Statesboro, Ga., and had lived in Bay County permanently since 1963. Mrs. Freed was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed playing bingo and meeting her many friends. She especially enjoyed the company of her children and was always there to help when needed. Mrs. Freed is survived by her son, Dennis E. Freed, of Katy, Texas; a sister, Mary Bonifay, of Bushnell, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Theresa Knowles, Ellen Driskell, Freddie Morris Jr., Georgie Morris, Mary Faye Morris, Buddy Bonifay, Randy Rodriquez, Eddie Davis, Dorothy Russell, Kelly Davis, Robin and many other nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Juanita Davis, of Bay Town, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 26, 2002, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Perry Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. KENNETH K. GENTRY
Mr. Kenneth K. Gentry, retired major United States Air Force, of Bonifay, Fla., died Monday, May 13, 2002, at his residence. Born in Liberty, Texas, he moved to Bonifay in 1978 from Niceville, Fla. Mr. Gentry was a pilot in the United States Air Force and a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietname War. He is survived by his wife, Ronnie Ellen Gentry, of Bonifay; one son, Mark Alan Gentry, of Georgia; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Shingleton, of North Carolina; two sisters, Billie Jean Shepherd, of Azle, Texas, and Naomi Chambers, of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of choice or to the Covenant Hospice at 2001 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32501-2144, in memory of Mr. Gentry.
