BRIGHTON: February 11, 2010. Our mother Joanne Judd Brezinski, as she liked to say was shot out of a cannon into her mothers arms on July 4, 1933. During her 76 years she had many accomplishments. Her proudest were her 32 years at Monroe #1 BOCES. During that time she lovingly touched the lives of many of her students and co-workers.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed deeply by her children and their spouses, Tom and Robyn Arena, Toni Beth and Matthew Weasner; granddaughters, Heather Joanne Francis and Erin Margaret Francis. Nieces and nephews. Our father, Thomas Arena and dear friends, Linda Howe and Judy Steffen.
We find comfort knowing that she will be reunited with her parents, Myrtle and Austin Judd brothers, Bobby and Don and the friends that have gone to heaven before her. We will smile when we remember the things she loved: her pets, daffodils, sitting in the sun, the soaps, Barbara Streisand and Nieman Marcus.
Special thanks to our friends at The Gables of Brighton and the caring staff of Highland Hospital West 4th Floor.
