He was Manager of the Am Vets. He was one of the founding members of Am Vets Post #15, Fort Pierce; a member of American Legion Post #40, VFW and the Elks Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Gail Gunther, Fort Pierce, Florida; son, Patrick Benedetto, Meriden, Connecticut; step sons, Robert Cook, Michigan, John Cook, New Haven, Connecticut; sisters, Isabelle Wren, Killingworth, Connecticut, Sylvia Falcigno, Wallingford, Connecticut; brother, Angelo Benedetto, Clinton, Connecticut; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include her sister Jennie Bsharah of Ft. Pierce, nephews Andrey Bsharah of Beckley, West. Va. and Rick Bsharah of Ann Arbor, Mi., nieces Phyllis Bsharah of Atlanta, Ga. and Jenine Baines of La Canada, Ca. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Louise Bsharah and brothers Fred Bsharah, Phillip Bsharah and Lewis Bsharah.
