Mr. Robert "Bob" Lamp

Robert "Bob" Lamp, 90, of Holmes Beach, beloved husband and father, passed into the next life on December 18, 2014.

Mr Lamp was married for almost 65 years to his loving wife Phyllis (Keinath) Lamp.

He was born icon in Detroit, Michigan and retired to Florida in 1984.

Mr. Lamp was a member of the American Legion after serving in the Navy during WWII. He was also a member of the Elks & Moose Lodges as well as St Joesph & St Bernard Catholic Churches.

Mr. Lamp was an avid golfer, fisherman, bowler and dancer. He retired after 41 years from the Ford Motor Company.

He is survived by his soulmate & wife Phyllis, sons Lawrence (Rose), Keith (Debbie), four grandchildren; Ashley, Jared, Connor & Rachel, sisters Jill & Bonnie, several nieces & nephews and many wonderful friends.

He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00am with a Memorial Mass commencing at 11:00am at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. W. Bradenton.

Mr. Lindell Wade Pearson

Our beloved Lennie has passed away on December 10, 2014.

We will be honoring his memory on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, with a Visitation from 6:00 - 7:00pm with the Funeral Service commencing at 7:00pm at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave W. Bradenton Fl. 34209.

All the services will be closed casket, as we would like everyone to remember him as he was, full of life.

During the services, we would like to hear your favorite stories and memories of Lennie, so we are asking for you to come up and speak at the appointed time. We would like to hear from at least 5 to 10 of his friends and family. We know it will be hard, but we would like for one of you to plan on speaking first.

Additionally, if Lennie has touched the lives of anyone you know, we would like for you to extend the invitation for them to attend as well. If, in our grief, we have inadvertently missed extending the invitation personally, we want you to know, all are welcome.

Lennie will be laid to rest in Sarasota Nation Cemetery. This is one of the cemeteries set aside to honor military members who dedicated themselves to the protection of our nation and way of life.

Mrs. Dorothy K. Hendry

Dorothy K. Hendry, 83, Ellenton, formerly of Myakka City, went to be with her Lord Dec. 13, 2014.

Dorothy was born icon on May 21, 1931 in Tampa to the late James and Maybell (Russ) Minton. She has been lifelong resident of Manatee County. Dorothy was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Myakka City where she was one of the main cooks.

She was predeceased by her brother, Donald C. Minton, sister, Doris Baker, and a granddaughter, April Hendry. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Earl "Bo" Hendry of Ellenton, daughter, Brenda Gray of Parrish, two sons; Earl "Sandy" (Pam) Hendry of Anderson, SC, James (April) Hendry of Belton, SC, seven precious grandchildren; Jimmy Gray, Alex (Shannan) Hendry, Alan (Rachel) Gray, Christy (Steve) Kelly, Samantha Gray, Cortney (John Michael) Quales, Kelly (Chris) Wood, fourteen darling great-grandchildren; Tyler, Logan, Izabelle, Abigail, Hunter, Skylar, Jack, Matthew, McKensleigh, Lane, Allyana, Reagan, Shane, Sam, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials can be made to TideWell Hospice in her memory.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Parrish Pearce

Mary Elizabeth Parrish Pearce, 96, Bradenton, passed away Dec. 8, 2014.

She was born icon Dec. 17, 1917 in Parrish to the late Kosciuko S. and Molle Dee (McClamroch) Parrish. Mary was a graduate of Florida Southern College and worked as an accountant for the family citrus and cattle business.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she served as chairperson of various church circles. She was also a lifetime member of Entre Nous, Manatee River Garden Club, and Women's Society of Christian Service.

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, John R. in 1986, and son, John R. II in 1999.Surived by daughter, Elizabeth and son-in-law Richard Kerlin of Bradenton,

The family will receive friends from 12Noon-1P.M. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Avenue W., Bradenton with services to follow at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Fortner Cemetery in Parrish.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the TideWell Hospice in her memory.

Mr. Devin Marcel Haisley

Devin Marcel Haisley passed away on December 5, 2014.

Devin was born icon in Bradenton, Florida on January 19,1997. He was a member of the Palm Aire Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Devin was preceded in death by his brother Cameron Lee, and is survived by his parents, DeAngello & Beth Averso Haisley, and his brother Taryn Keith Haisley.

He is also survived by a large extended family, including, Grand Parents, Leon & Lois Haisley, & Dorothy Averso, and great-grandmother, Willie Mae Haisley.

Aunts & Uncles: Gerry & Sandra Haisley, Daryl & Nixa Haisley, Deon & Joanna Haisley, Mark & Jean Averso, Pete & Peggy Averso & Tammie Averso, Alan & Dawn Averso, Brian & Norma Averso, Carolyn Averso.

Cousins: Jamel, Terrell & Alita Haisley, Dillon Averso, Kieren & Heather Gunnell, Gabe & Adrainna Haisley & Sean Averso, Liza Averso, Tracy & Marc LeFort, Marky Averso, Peter Averso Jr., Holley Armbruster, Omni Brooks & Jamie Block.

A Memorial will be held for Devin at Braden River High School, 6545 HWY 70, Bradenton, FL 34203 on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00pm. With a reception to follow for family & close friends, directions will be available at the memorial.

For the time Devin was in All Childrens Hospital,our saying was "One Day At A Time" based on the scripture Matthew 6: 33 & 34.

Rev. James W. “Tripp” Battle, III

Rev. James W. “Tripp” Battle, III, 31, of Bradenton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 4, 2014.

Tripp was born icon on Jan. 25, 1983 in Bradenton. He was a graduate of Bayshore High School. He went on to attend and graduate from Baptist College of Florida.

In 2009 Tripp was ordained to preach the word of God by the Wayside Baptist Church in Miami. He served as a Student Pastor, Associate Pastor and Church Planter. Then in 2012 was called by Bayshore Baptist Church to serve as their Senior Pastor until his passing.

Rev. Tripp was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Sara Elizabeth Romine, paternal grandparents; James W. and Helen Battle, and paternal grandparents-in-law; Bob and Dot Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 ˝ years, Joy, two precious children; Sophie and Joshua Battle of Bradenton, parents; Jimmy and Rhonda Battle Jr. of Bradenton, sister, Ashley Battle of Bradenton, maternal grandparents; Ed and Alice Romine of Bradenton, aunts; Beverly Battle of Anna Maria, FL, Cheryl (Mike) Stuart of Parrish, FL parents-in-law; Rev. Keith and Rhonda Johnson of Miami, FL, maternal grandparents-in-law; Ron and Jackie King of Marion, OH, sisters-in-law; Hope (David) Bridwell of Crawfordville, GA, Faith Johnson of Pensacola, and many extended family members, Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of Bradenton, 1306 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205. A Celebration of Rev. Tripp’s Battle life will be celebrated at 6 P.M.on Friday, Dec. 12,2014 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of Bradenton.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Tripp Battle Memorial Trust for his wife and children, c/o Greene, Hamrick, Quinlan & Shermer, P.A., 601 12th St. W., Bradenton, Fl. 34205 in his memory.
