She was a dry cleaning checker and member of Bayceia Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, L.D. Jr. of Suffolk and James V. of Tampa; two daughters, Anita P. Nales of Tampa and Delores Omdahl of Tampa; a sister, Mildred Lassiter of Sunbury, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa.

MARIA I. RIVERA, 73, of Albany, N.Y., died Friday at home. A native of Maui, Hawaii, she moved to Albany in 1997 from Tampa. She was a homemaker. He is survived by his wife, Avanell; three daughters, Kimberly of Wheaton, Ill., Janet McDonald of Chesterfield, Mo., and Carol Wolf of Wexford, Pa.; and four grandchildren. JOHN H. HART Sr., 82, of Chelmsford, Mass., died Friday at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Mass. A native of Boston, he was a winter resident of Zephyrhills for many years. He was a retired accountant for the Boise Cascade Paper Company and IBM department manager, an Army veteran of World War II, former member of Rumford Elks Lodge 862, and Boise Cascade Paper Company 25 Year Club, and originator of the Junior Achievement Program at the Mechanics Institute in Rumford, Maine. He is survived by two sons, John H. Jr. of Bangor, Maine, and Stephen L. of Billerica, Mass.; a sister, Dorothy Searles of Boylston, Nova Scotia, Canada; and six grandchildren.
