BEATRICE AVENELL THOMPSON, 72, of Tampa died Monday in Brandon. A native of Greenup, Ky., she moved to Tampa in 1947 from Baltimore. She was a cigar roller for Hav-a-Tampa Cigar Co. and Protestant. She is survived by her husband, Jack L. Jr.; a son, Jack L. III of Tampa; a brother, Clifford Reed of Dover; six sisters, Grace Patterson of Brandon, Retta Moore, Vesta Robinson and Jalana Fitzwater, all of Greenup, and Ruth Curtis and Garnett Ball, both of Dover; and two grandchildren. CHARLES J. TRABER, 77, of Thonotosassa died Saturday at home. A native of Philadelphia, he moved to the Tampa area in 1983 from Maple Shade, N.J. He was a foreman for Frankfurt-Quaker Grocery Co. and Air Force veteran of World War II. He is survived by a son, Richard Money of Seffner; two daughters, Sharon Wells of Tampa and Heather Money of Thonotosassa; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. STANLEY M. VOSSLER, 86, of Lakeland died Thursday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A native of Alma, N.Y., he came to this area 57 years ago from Cortland, N.Y. He was former chief pilot for Delaware Aviation Corp. and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Irene; a daughter, Suzanne Bolser of Valrico; a son, Stanley Jr. of Silver Spring, Md.; two sisters, Rhoda Varn and Fredericka, both of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. He was a retired technical sergeant for the Air Force, Catholic, member of AMVETS, military Order of the Purple Heart and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He is survived by his wife, Frances M.; two sons, Thomas and John J. Jr., both of Odessa; a daughter, Deborah Johnston of Odessa; a brother, Vincent of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; two sisters, Julia McElroy and Alice Haberly, both of Cheektowaga; and six grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Joni Patterson of Odessa; a brother, Raymond Marchak of Philadelphia; four sisters, Catherine Scamby, Jennie Marchak and Alice Fantricola, all of Philadelphia, and Olga Brandt of Haddonfield, N.J.; and seven grandchildren. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, retired regional sales manager for Berger Brothers Electric Supply of Atlanta, former teacher and football coach for Pasco High School and former co-owner of The Frozen Pitcher in Dade City, a member of the American Legion Post 106 of Smyrna, Ga., and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by two sons, William of Jonesboro, Ga., and Sammy Hall of Danville, Ill.; a brother, Richard of Sun City Center; a sister, Jacqueline Geer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
