BOKSA, HELEN, 84, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (April 25, 2002) at home. Born in Minneapolis, she came in 1978 from Des Plaines, Ill. She was a nurse's assistant and volunteered for many years at Hospice of Pasco and North Bay Medical Center. She was a member of the Franciscan Third Order of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and member of its Rosary Makers group. Survivors include a son, Rudy P., LaSalle, Ind.; and four grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Homes, New Port Richey.

CARBERRY, MARY M., 92, of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at Tandem Health Care Center in New Port Richey. Born in New York City, she came here in 1972 from North Arlington, N.J. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, James H., Miami; two daughters, Marilyn Reilly, North Arlington, and Patricia Parker, New Port Richey; a brother, Thomas Burke, Flushing, N.Y.; a sister, Lillian Quinn, Fairport, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. COYLE, JOSEPHINE, 68, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (April 25, 2002) at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she came here in 1989 from Holbrook, N.Y. and was a store manager for the Lerner Corp., Long Island, N.Y. She was an Episcopalian. Survivors include two sons, William P., Palm Harbor, and James C., New Port Richey; two brothers, Joseph Costa, Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y., and John Costa, East Meadow, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. FELLOWS, JONATHAN L., infant son of Josephine S. and David R., of Hudson, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at home. He was born in Spring Hill. Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Delbert and Vianna Sanchers, Hudson; and paternal grandparents, John and Mary Fellows, Killeen, Texas. Wellwood/Grace Funeral Home & Cemetery, Hudson.

FIEDLER, JUSTIN EDWARD, 17, of Holiday, died Monday (April 22, 2002) in Orlando. Born in Winter Park, he was a resident of Holiday. He worked in lawn maintenance. Survivors include his mother, Rebecca, Holiday; his father, James, Apopka; two sisters, Dawn Fiedler, Apopka, and Justina Fiedler, Orlando; his grandparents, Bill and Lavone Fiedler, and Frances Little and Herman Dumph; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Newcomer Family Funeral Home, Winter Park.

LaBARR, MICHAEL E., 50, of Holiday, died Saturday (April 20, 2002) at home. He came here in 1994 from his native Buffalo, N.Y. He was a gypsum laborer. Survivors include his parents, Edward and Alice, and a sister, Loraine, all of Holiday. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Homes, Holiday.

LENSKE, BETTY J., 70, of Zephyrhills, died Friday (April 19, 2002) at East Pasco Medical Center in Zephyrhills. Born in Brewster, she came here in 1968 from Avon Park and was a homemaker. She was Protestant. Survivors include her husband, John; three sons, Charles "Buddy" Franklin and Roy Allen Franklin, both of Zephyrhills, and Richard Franklin, Lakeland; six daughters, Sandy Hilton and Becky Boyette, both of Zephyrhills, Brenda Blanton, Brandon, Clover Richardson, Ocala, Cynthia Cordelle, Winter Haven, and Jamie Koplitz, Lakeland; a stepson, Daniel Lenske, Zephyrhills; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. PHILLIPS, ROY W., 70, of Hudson, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. He came here in 1972 from his native Sarasota and was a self-employed boat captain. He was Baptist. He was a member of the New Port Richey Masonic Lodge 146 and the Beacon Woods East Homeowners Association. Survivors include his wife, Lynn; two sons, Bill and B.W. Phillips, and a daughter, Charkay Suiters, all of New Port Richey; two brothers, Jim, Spartanburg, S.C., and Marvin, Miami; a sister, Ann Courtney, Spokane, Wash.; several nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren. ROBERTSON, ISAIAH R. "RAY," 74, of Zephyrhills, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at East Pasco Medical Center in Zephyrhills. Born in Echo, W.Va., he came here several years ago from Walbridge, Ohio. He was a baker. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M.; a son, Robert R., Toledo, Ohio; two daughters, Linda Sue Johnson, Mansfield, Ohio, and Michelle Harvey, Medina, Ohio; three stepsons, Irvin Leidy, Wauseon, Ohio, Rick Leidy, Perrysburg, Ohio, and Douglas Leidy, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Rita Rogers, Toledo; a sister, Margaret Powers, Elgin, Ill.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. SAMS, JOE S., 90, of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at Southern Pines Nursing Home in New Port Richey. Born in Livingston, Ky., he came here in 1983 from Bronston, Ky. He was a retired automotive inspector for General Motors Corp. in Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of Aripeka Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Vernon, California, and Estel M., Hudson; two daughters, Marie Garber, Vandalia, Ohio, and Wilma Bowser, Eaton, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren. Family Funeral Care, Hudson.

VERDI, ROSE E., 83, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (April 18, 2002) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. She came here several years ago from her native Hackensack, N.J. She was a manufacturing shipping clerk. Survivors include her daughter, Linda R. Lavesky, Hudson. Ambassador Mortuary Service, Oldsmar.

WAGNER, WILLIAM L., 84, of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at home. He came here 26 years ago from his native Akron, Ohio. He was a retired tire builder with Firestone with 30 years of service and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Holiday Moose Lodge, Akron VFW Post, Seven Springs Golf & Country Club and Joyful Spirit Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Edna; a stepdaughter, Carole Lapham, New Port Richey; a brother, Jack Wagner, Florida; two sisters, Norma McKenna, Naples, and Dody Penchalk, Ann Arbor, Mich.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. ZAWACKI, MARY E., 74, of Hudson, died Wednesday (April 24, 2002) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Kingsport, Tenn., she moved here in 1998 from Cape Coral, where she lived since 1972. She was a home health care aide and member of the Moose Ladies Auxiliary. She was Catholic. Survivors include six sons, James M. Jones, Everett, Wash., David S. Jones, Orlando, Daniel M. Jones, Emory, Texas, Mark E. O'Loughlin, Cape Coral, Walter W. Zawacki, Hudson, and Joseph A. Zawacki, Fort Myers; a brother, Samuel Parker, Hudson; a sister, Billie Jean Boyland, Canandaigua, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Faupel Funeral Home, Port Richey.

CARUFEL, ALICE A., 92, of Clearwater, died Thursday (June 20, 2002) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. She was born in North Attleboro, Mass., and came here in 1970 from Pawtucket, R.I. She was a homemaker and a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church, Clearwater. Survivors include a son, Philip, Dunedin; a number of brothers; a number of sisters; a grandson, Colin Carufel, Cumberland, R.I.; and a great-grandson, Joshua Carufel, Cumberland. CUZZONE, ALFRED M., 73, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (June 19, 2002) at his daughter's home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Springfield, Mass., and came here in 2000 from Cincinnati. He worked as a media clerk. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Linda A., Cincinnati; two sons, Alfred M. and Martin D., both Cincinnati; two daughters, Sabrina L. Cuzzone, Clearwater, and Lisa C. Becknell, Cincinnati; and eight grandchildren. Abbey Affordable Cremation & Funeral Services, Largo.

LANDERS, CAREY C., 93, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (June 19, 2002) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. He was born in Montgomery, Ala., and came here in 1957 from Fairborn, Ohio, where he owned Landers Gulf Oil Distributor. Survivors include a son, Bill, Siler City, N.C.; a stepson, Byron Fahnestock, Clearwater; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Largo.

LIPPS, EVELYN, 74, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (June 19, 2002) at Sunset Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Clearwater. She came here in 1984 from Richmond, Va. She worked 10 years as an administrative assistant for a sign company in Oldsmar. Survivors include two sons, Douglas, Richmond, and Jeffrey, Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren, William Lipps and Catherine Lipps, both Wilmington; and a companion, Doug Kelly, Clearwater.
