LUPIEN, FREDERIC C. JR., 80, of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. He came to Tampa in 1947 from his native Minneapolis and moved in 1990 to Clearwater. He retired after 40 years as owner and operator of Pen Supply Inc. and was past president of NAWID. He was a baseball coach and umpire for many years with the Tampa Parks & Recreation Department. He was a founder of the children's Gasparilla Parade. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific theater aboard the USS General Howze. He was a member of Skycrest United Methodist Church of Clearwater and the American Legion. He was a shuffleboard and bridge player and recently achieved a score of 7,000 points in one game. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dolores; a daughter, Mary Marcy Bergin; a son, Michael Jon Sr., his brother, Ronald, all of Tampa; a sister, Marilyn L. Blouin, Largo; an aunt, Alice Hayman, Tampa; and three grandchildren, Michael J. Lupien Jr. and Caroline Beach, both of Tampa, and Georgetta Lupien, Houston. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater.

NOTARANGELO, JOSEPH A. SR., 93, of Clearwater, died Monday (Jan. 29, 2001) at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Chrome, N.J., and came here in 1996. He owned and operated a motel for nine years in Hightstown, N.J., and retired in 1976 after 35 years working in various securities brokerage firms in New York City. He was a member and usher of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Clearwater. He was a former member of the New York/New Jersey Club of Top of the World, Clearwater, and St. Anthony of Padua, the St. Anthony's Holy Name Society and the Anthonians, the Elks Club of Robbinsville and the Republican Club of Bergenfield, all in New Jersey. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Andrews, Hightstown, N.J.; two sons, Joseph A. Jr., Clearwater, and Robert Lakewood, Colo.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown, N.J.

SEABROOK, ALICE M., 92, of Wildwood, formerly of Clearwater, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 2001) in Wildwood. She came to Clearwater in the early 1920s from her native Orange Home and graduated in 1934 with the first class of the former Pinellas High School, Clearwater. She was a member of Mount Olive AME Church, Clearwater. Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Spice Stewart, Miami, and Edith Gibson, Chicago; a sister, Robert Harrison, Wildwood; and an aunt, Barbara Ray Hill, Largo. Hayes Funeral Home, Eustis.

SUNDERLAND, SUSAN M., 94, of Clearwater, died Monday (Jan. 29, 2001) at Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation and Care Center, Clearwater. She was born in Bellwood, Pa., and came here in 1973 from Altoona, Pa. She retired as a high school teacher in Bellwood. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Largo, a past secretary of the Palm Hill Owners Association, and a member of Sahbee Shrine Guild of America, Order of Eastern Star, the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and the National Wildlife Federation. Survivors include a nephew, Richard Hirsch, Columbus, Ohio. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.

WARREN, VIRGINIA W., 91, of Clearwater, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 2001) at Oak Bluffs Retirement Center and Nursing Facility, Clearwater. There are no known survivors. National Cremation Society, Largo.

JOHNSON, ETHEL M., 91, of Indian Rocks Beach, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. She was born in Waterbury, Conn., and came here in 1971 from Stratford, Conn., where she retired as a supervisor of accounting for the Avco-Lycoming Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Church of the Isles Congregational, Indian Rocks Beach, a volunteer for 22 years and a member of the board of directors of the Indian Rocks Beach Library, a member of the IRB Friends of the Library, the Indian Rocks Beach Civic Association, the Historical Society, Homeowners Association, and first president of Avco-Lycoming Women's Club. Survivors include her husband, Arthur; a stepdaughter, Barbara DiSanti, Naugatuck, Conn.; and two nephews, Kent Oppel, Milford, Conn., and Alton Ferris Sr., Windham, Maine. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.

DERNONCOURT, SAMUEL E., 29, of Largo, died Monday (Jan. 29, 2001) at Vencor Hospital-St. Petersburg. He was born in Springfield, Ill., and came here in 1984 from Illinois. He was a commercial fisherman and musician and liked to work on automobiles. Survivors include his mother, Joyce, Largo; four brothers, Steven and Mark Der-noncourt, both of Largo, Trevor Cleeton, Holiday, and Christopher Cleeton, New Port Richey; and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Ward, Holiday. National Cremation Society, Largo.

MEEKS, DELORIS M., 76, of Pinellas Park, died Wednesday (June 19, 2002) at Largo Medical Center. Born in Fyffe, Ala., she moved to Ocala in 1980 from North Miami Beach, and recently moved to Pinellas Park due to illness. She was an accounting clerk for Kellar Industries in Miami. She was Baptist. Survivors include a son, Warren Thomas, Anthony; two daughters, Donna Radebaugh, Pinellas Park, and Sheila Meeks, Belleview; a brother, Ronald Blackwell, and two sisters, Lavaughn Koger and Demoris McCullum, all of Alabama; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. MONDA, DANTE JOHN, 49, of Pinellas Park, died Wednesday (June 19, 2002) at Bayfront Medical Center. He came here in 1972 from his native Ashtabula, Ohio, where he was a state champion in football, baseball and wrestling while in high school. He was a self-employed fence installer and was also a security guard for Weiser Security. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Connie Jean; two sons, Mario and Dominic, and a daughter, Alyssa Monda, all of Pinellas Park; his father and stepmother, John and June Monda, St. Petersburg; his mother and stepfather, Betty J. and Tim Jones, and a brother, Perry, all of Palmetto; and his maternal grandmother, Celia Sword, St. Petersburg. MURPHY, THE REV. COLUMBA, 89, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here from New Bedford, Mass. He was a Franciscan priest who served as a hospital chaplain, also doing parish work and teaching at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., and St. Bonaventure University. He professed as a Franciscan on Aug. 13, 1936, and was ordained on June 9, 1941. Survivors include two sisters, Sister Edward Joseph Murphy, Long Island, N.Y., and Eileen Platten, Rochester, N.Y. OWENS, TINA L., 26, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at Bayfront Medical Center. She was a native of St. Petersburg and a member of New Life Fellowship Baptist Church and worked for Pinellas County as a plant operator. Survivors include three daughters, Krystal Owens, Asia Oliver and Danielle Owens, a son, Antonio Oliver, her father, Milton Owens, and her mother, Mittie Jones, all of St. Petersburg; her paternal grandmother and grandfather, Dannie and Johnny Jones, both of Clearwater; and four sisters, Chenita Owens, Queen Esther Walls, Lisa Brown and Sarah Owens, all of St. Petersburg. PHILLIPS, PETER EDWARD, 49, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001) at home. He came here 45 years ago from his native Trenton, N.J. He was an upholsterer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother, Bette, St. Petersburg; and a brother, Bill Phillips, New York City. SERINO, PASQUALE V., 79, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2001) at the VA Medical Center at Bay Pines. He was born in Peekskill, N.Y. He was the owner of Hobo Hoagie and Pat's Steakhouse restaurants and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic. Survivors include a sister, Mary V. Miller, Springfield, Ill. E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, St. Petersburg.

TALLMAN, MATILDA, 97, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2001). Born in West Chicago, Ill., she came here from Escondido, Calif. She was a secretary for a plumbing company and was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, John, St. Petersburg; two daughters, Gwen Kirschbaum, Rockford, Ill., and Joanne Catron, St. Petersburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. WILHELM, MARY L., 84, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Treasure Island, died Saturday (Jan. 20, 2001) in Montery Nursing Center, Grove City. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Grove City in 1995. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Douglas, Clearwater, and Thomas, Grove City; a sister, Betty Van Hoose; a brother, Louis Bauer; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Schoedinger Norris Chapel, Grove City, Ohio.
