U.S., Social Security Death Index, 1935-2014

Laura M. Pagliaro
Laura M. Pagliaro, 74, Venice, died June 21, 2001.
She was born May 11, 1927, in Clementon, N.J., and came to Venice in 1969 from Rapid City, S.D. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lovelanders in Venice and a lifetime member of South Venice Yacht Club.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frank A.; and a son, Mark A. of Venice.
No services are scheduled. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.

Mary K. Pollard
Mary K. Pollard, 93, Sarasota, and formerly of Englewood, died June 19, 2001.
She was born March 8, 1908, in Marietta, Ohio, and came to Sarasota in 1996 from Englewood. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.
Survivors include four cousins, Charlotte Kuehn, Narma J. Adams, Evelyn Hawn, all of Marietta, and Rosemary Weckbacher of Lowell, Ohio.
Memorial services will be later. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge.

Sharon Lee Rydzinski
Sharon Lee Rydzinski, 62, Sarasota, died in a car accident June 20, 2001.
She was born Jan. 19, 1939, in South Bend, Ind., and came to Sarasota in 1978 from there. She was co-owner with her husband, David, of Flowers by David. She was a member of American Business Women's Association of Sarasota and St. Martha's Catholic Church.
Survivors, besides her husband, include two sons, Robert Walker and Randy, both of Sarasota; a stepson, David of South Bend; a daughter, Cindi Kawka of Granger, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Peggy Garudy and Tina McQueen, both of New Carlisle, Ind.; two sisters, Pat Fagen of Las Vegas and Phylis Powell of South Bend; and 16 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Martha's Catholic Church. A reception for family and friends will follow at the family home, 2010 Euclid Terrace, Sarasota. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge.

Robert Ledbetter Sr.
PORT ST. LUCIE - Robert Paul Ledbetter Sr., 81, of Port St. Lucie died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at the Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center, Port St. Lucie.
A native of Blythville, Ark., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 18 years. He moved here from Kalamazoo, Mich.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara; four sons, Robert Ledbetter Jr., Billy Lee Ledbetter, Les White, and Ted White; a daughter, Ruby White; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be at 7 p.m. today, at the son's home.
Arrangements are under the direction of At Peace Creamation Service, Sarasota.

Lucy Banks Prange
STUART - Lucy Banks Prange, 96, of Stuart died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at her home.
She was a native of Atlanta.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Stuart and Boston.
She taught dancing at the Ward-Belmont School, Nashville, Tenn.
She was one of the first members of the Stuart Yacht and Country Club.
She graduated from Northwestern University with a journalism degree. She studied interpretive dancing under Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn.
She was predeceased in 1996 by her husband Howard Prange. She lived several years in the Bahamas as the wife of the American consul.
Survivors include a stepson, Henry D. Prange of Bloomington, Ind.; and a stepdaughter, Lynne Ferguson of Orlando.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society, Miami.

Rose L. Saint Louis
INDIANTOWN - Rose L. Saint Louis, 46, of Indiantown died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in Salerno Bay Manor, Stuart.
A native of Haiti, she lived in Indiantown for six years. She moved here from Haiti.
She was a member of the Evangelical Haitian Church of the Nazarene, Indiantown.
Survivors include her husband, Meriston Saint Louis of Indiantown; two sons, Holguy Antoine of Haiti and Jean D. Saint Louis of Stuart; three daughters, Ademicia Saint Louis of Stuart, Merisna Saint Louis of Indiantown and Christina N. Saint Louis of Indiantown; three grandchildren; four brothers of Haiti; and three sisters of Haiti.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Wallace & White Funeral Home Chapel, Stuart.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Evangelical Haitian Church of Nazarene.
Burial will be in Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart.

Katherine Carlisle Whiteley
Katherine Carlisle Whiteley, 85, Siesta Key, died June 21, 2001.
She was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Mississippi and came to Siesta Key 20 years ago from Tennessee. She was a former school teacher and owner of a radio station in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Siesta Key Presbyterian Church and active in its or-ganizations.
Survivors include her husband, Chester; and a son, Leonard S. of Siesta Key.
Services will be private. Sarasota Memorial Funeral Home is in charge.
