Gordon W. Buell
PORT ST. LUCIE - Gordon W. Buell, 65, of Port St. Lucie died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at a hospice.
A native of Traverse City, Mich., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 24 years. He moved here from Almont, Mich.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Peggie Buell of Port St. Lucie; four sons, Anthony Buell, Robert Buell, Brian Buell and Kevin Buell, all of Port St. Lucie; a daughter, Shannon Smith of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Robert Buell of Port St. Lucie; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Yates Port St. Lucie Funeral Home. A service will be at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Those who wish may contribute to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, P.O. Box 1168, Stuart, FL 34995-1168.

James P. Camp
FORT PIERCE - James P. Camp, 49, of Fort Pierce died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
A native of Jacksonville, he lived in Fort Pierce since 1967.
He served in the Army for 12 years on Oahu, Hawaii.
Before retirement, he worked for the Florida Department of Corrections. He was a correctional officer with the Bell Avenue work release center, Fort Pierce, for seven years.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Puryear of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Bill Camp; and three sisters, Lora Brinley of Rio, and Cheryl A. Cannon, and Betsy Moulton, both of Fort Pierce.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Friends may call family members for the location.

Roger D. Clark
FORT PIERCE - Roger D. Clark, 49, of Fort Pierce died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at his home.
A native of Birmingham, Ala., he lived in Fort Pierce for 10 years.
He was employed by Bill Phillips Construction, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Clark and David Clark, both of Alabama and Douglas Clark of Fort Pierce; and a sister, Sharon O'Connell of Fort Pierce.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at Wallace and White Funeral Home, Stuart.
Arrangements are under the direction of Choice Funeral Home, Stuart.

Grover Carroll Jones
Grover Carroll Jones, 77, a retired Navy lieutenant commander, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Janice Smith Jones.
The service will be at 11 a.m. EST today at Bradfordville First Baptist Church Chapel, with burial at 3 p.m. EST at Tabb cemetery in Colquitt, Ga. Colquitt Funeral Home in Colquitt (229-758-3571) is handling arrangements. He was a former resident of Damascus, Ga. He retired from the Navy after 21 years of service. During that time, he was an aviator, flying dive bombers and Super Constellations as a hurricane hunter, and he also served as a public information officer. He was executive director of the Pensacola Convention and Visitor's Bureau from 1964 to 1969. In 1969 he became the first chief of the Bureau of Aviation of the Florida Department of Transportation, retiring in 1984. Other survivors include a daughter, Carol Gentry of Atlanta; a son, James Jones of Atlanta; a granddaughter, Julie Silverstein of Pass-a-Grille Beach; three stepdaughters, Valerie Reynolds (and husband Mike) and children Dustin and Darin of Tallahassee, Kim Kendrick (and husband Jaime) of Orlando and Alicia Wilson (and husband Chris) and children Shannon and Aaron of Cypress, Texas; a brother-in-law, Bill Phillips (and wife Debbie) of Orlando; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline "Bunny" Jones; four brothers; and a sister.

Ray Burton
Services for Ray "Big Daddy" Burton, a Sarasota resident who died June 14, 2001, are as follows: Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Newtown Estates Gym. Burial will be private.

Edward Frank Davis
Edward Frank Davis, 76, Sarasota, died June 18, 2001.
He was born Oct. 14, 1924, in Cincinnati and came to Sarasota in 1957 from there. He was a retired carpenter and cabinetmaker and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include three sons, Edward F. Frank III of Sarasota, and Scott and Dwight, both of Atlanta; a sister, Mary A. Lambing of Cincinnati; two brothers Harold of Cincinnati and Stan of Sarasota; and a grandson.
No visitation is scheduled. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. today at Palms Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Kenneth Ely Jr.
Kenneth Ely Jr., 53, Sarasota, died June 18, 2001.
He was born Jan. 5, 1948, in St. Augustine and came to Sarasota in 1980 from St. Petersburg. He was a cabinetmaker for Measel Cabinet Shop in Sarasota. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra G. of Port Charlotte; and his health care providers, Judith and Larry Goff of Sarasota.
No memorial service is scheduled. The Good Earth Crematory, Bradenton, is in charge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.

Dorothy E.B. Fleischmann
Dorothy E. Bruner Fleisch- mann, 97, Nokomis, died June 19, 2001.
She was born April 26, 1904, in Montoursville, Pa., and came to Nokomis in 1970 from Farmington Hills, Mich. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Majeski of Elk Rapids, Minn.; a son, George A. Bruner of Nokomis; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were private. Ewing Funeral Home, Venice, is in charge.
