Lillie Boyd Bostick

WILLISTON - Lillie Boyd Bostick of Gainesville died Friday in Williston.

She was 90.

A lifetime Gainesville resident, Mrs. Bostick formerly owned Miller Sandwiches. She also was retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital Food Service.

Mrs. Bostick helped organize the Golden Age bridge group at the Thelma Boltin Recreation Center. She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville.

Mrs. Bostick was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Bostick.

Survivors include two sons, Rhesa B. Bostick of Gainesville and Robert W. Bostick of Cedar Key; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren.

T.O. Davis

LAKE CITY - T.O. Davis of Lake City died Friday at the Lake City Medical Center after a short illness. He was 66.

Mr. Davis was a dragline operator for the state Department of Transportation.

He attended the Antioch Baptist Church of LaCrosse.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Ritter of Lake City and a granddaughter, Tiffany Stringer of Lake City.

Milton O. Crews

Milton "M.O." Crews of Bronson died Friday at the Hospice House at Gainesville of kidney cancer. He was 66.

Mr. Crews was a tool and die maker at the University of Florida.

Born in Williamson, W.Va., he moved from Miami to Bronson 18 years ago.

Mr. Crews was a 32 degree Mason and a member of the Ornan Lodge No. 117 in Williston. He volunteered in building the Levy County Quilt Museum.

Survivors include his wife, Helen R. Crews of Bronson; a son, Dale Crews of Palm Harbor; a daughter, Diane Gray of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a stepdaughter, Peggy Allen of Terre Haute, Ind.; his mother, Martha Forshag of Athens, Ala.; and six grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of contributions to Hospice House, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville 32606.

Betty Gause

WILLISTON - Betty Gause of Old Town died Friday in Williston. She was 64.

Mrs. Gause was a homemaker.

Born in Gohangen Sawmill, she moved 19 years ago from Jasper to Old Town.

Mrs. Gause was a Baptist.

Survivors include four sons, John Gause of Valdosta, Ga., Bud Gause of Chiefland, Jeff Gause of Jasper and Andy Gause of Jacksonville; and a daughter, Karan Gwynn of Old Town.

William Keeton

William Keeton of Fort White died Friday in Gainesville after a long illness.

He was 51.

Mr. Keeton was a retired banker and rancher.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved from Chevy Chase, Md. to Fort White five years ago.

He was a first vice president of the Gainesville Shrine Club and a member of the Shrine Club Nomads Harley Owners' Group, the High Springs Masonic Lodge No. 137 and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

He was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, where he had served as treasurer.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Keeton of Fort White; his mother, Marybeth Keeton of Bronson; his son, Matthew Farcosky of Fort White; his brother, Jim Keeton of Bronson; and his sister, Liz Zaharopoulos of Avondale Estates, Ga.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 906, High Springs, 32655 or the Shrine Hospital for Children.

Mary Jane Richards

Mary Jane Richards of Interlachen died Tuesday at the Putnam County Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 68.

Mrs. Richards was an accountant at an Air Force N.C.O. Club and a homemaker.

Mrs. Richards was born in Charles City, Va., and moved from Sorrento to Interlachen 13 years ago.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Jefferson Richards Sr. of Interlachen; four daughters, Mary Catherine Richards Chambers of Hampton, Va.; Edna Mae Woodard of Gloucester, Va.; Patricia Richards Collins of Interlachen and Rosella M. Hamm of Gainesville; three sons, Thomas J. Richards Jr. of Salem, Ore., George E. Richards Sr. and Michael W. Richards Sr., both of Interlachen; one sister, Virginia I. Wilkie of Yuma, Ariz.; two brothers, Michael J. Senn of Portsmouth, Va., and George R. Senn Jr. of Crystal River; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Bert Allen Shockley

Bert Allen Shockley of McIntosh died Saturday in Gainesville. He was 73.

Mr. Shockley was a real estate agent.

Born in Scottsville, Ky., he moved two years ago from Franklin, N.C., to Gainesville.

He was a Mason and belonged to the McIntosh United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Shockley of McIntosh; five sons, Larry Shockley of Micanopy, Steve Shockley of North Carolina, Allan Shockley of Roy, Utah, Douglas Shockley of Ridgeway, Colo., and Rodney Shockley of Mesquite, Texas; a sister, Mary Smeltzer; and 16 grandchildren.

Beatrice Jeanette Sheppard Sikes

HIGH SPRINGS - Beatrice Jeanette Sheppard Sikes of High Springs died Saturday at her home. She was 77.

Mrs. Sikes was a home health-care aide.

Born in Perry, she moved to High Springs 38 years ago.

She belonged to the Assembly of God in High Springs.

Survivors include two sons, J.W. Sikes of Homosassa and Doyle Sikes of Melrose; three daughters, Diane Sikes Raulerson, Dale Sikes Swilley and Ann Sikes Roberson, all of High Springs; a brother, Raleigh Sheppard Way of Hinesville, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Elsie Layton Sinor

Elsie Layton Sinor of Mayo died Thursday at Shands at the University of Florida after a short illness. She was 64.

Mrs. Sinor was a craft artist.

She was born and raised in Breathitt County, Ky. She moved from Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, to Mayo 18 years ago.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Sinor of Mayo; her son, Jim Sinor Jr. of San Jose, Costa Rica; four sisters, Eleanor Sizemore of Roswell, N.M.; Minnie Yancey of Berea, Ky.; Marnie Lee and Sylvia Deaton, both of Middletown, Ohio; one brother, Ira James Bates of Berea; and three grandchildren.

Joan Walker

Joan Walker of Gainesville died Friday at her home after a long illness.

She was 39.

Mrs. Walker was a hairstylist.

Born in Weisbaden, Germany, she moved 19 years ago from Centereach, N.Y. to Gainesville. She graduated from the Centereach High School Department of Cosmetology on Long Island.

She belonged to the Holy Faith Catholic Church.

Survivors include her father, Frank O'Dowd of Gainesville; her mother, Elenor Manning O'Dowd of Gainesville; her husband, Paul Walker of Gainesville; her daughter, Marissa Marie Walker of Gainesville; her son, Joseph Dean Walker of Gainesville; and her brother, Frank O'Dowd of Moore, S.C.
