MARY ALICE GUSSMAN

Mary Alice Gussman, 77, a resident of Gulf Breeze, FL, and former resident of Montgomery, AL, died Friday, December 31, 1999.

She was a charter member of the Emblem Club, Wenatchee, WA.

Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at 10 am

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal M. & Mary McLeod Goodson and her grandmother, Carlie McLeod.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert W. Gussman of Gulf Breeze, FL; daughter & son-in-law, Nancy Gussman Gebhart & her husband, Steve of Overland Park, KS; and two grandchildren, Kelli Gebhart & Jeffrey Gebhart.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to ones favorite charity.

LEAK-MEMORY CHAPEL, is in charge of arrangements.

JACQUELINE ``JACKIE" HALL

Jacqueline ``Jackie" Hall, 61, of Pensacola, died January 1, 2000 at a local hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Mrs. Hall was born in Key West, FL and moved to the local area in 1974. She worked for the Navy Exchange for seventeen years. Jackie will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother & great- grandmother.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of forty years, Daniel Hall; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Lee and Ronald Lindsey & Bonnie Rae and Ray Kee; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Daniel, Robert, Denea, Jessica, Tiffany and Samantha; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services at Barrancas National Cemetery will be held at 10:15 am, Wednesday, January 5, 2000 with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at the funeral home.

MABLE ANNA ``BABE" HEISER

Mable Anna ``Babe" Heiser, 70, of Pensacola, died Friday, December 31, 1999.

Babe was a native and lifelong resident of Chicago, IL. After retiring from General Motors, she and her husband moved to the local area twelve years ago.

Babe is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Robert F. Heiser and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday, January 3, 2000 at the funeral home.

EDITH I. ``DELL" HENDERSON

Edith I. ``Dell" Henderson, 78, of Pensacola, died Thursday, December 30, 1999, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was a lifelong resident of the area. She supported her husband as an Air Force wife for 27 years. She was a most devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Wally Sowell, Kim and David Evans and Ila and Robert Harvey; sister, Esteen Somerville; and grandchildren, Christopher Sowell, Karie Sowell, Lee Evans, Jason Holden, Robbie Harvey, Justin Holden and Hilary Holden.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Spining officiating.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Hill, Fla.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm. today at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, however, contributions may be made to Cancer Research.

LUTHER C. JENKINS

Luther C. Jenkins, age 86, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died Thursday, December 30, 1999, at his home.

He was born in Frisco City, Ala., on March 26, 1913. He moved to Jay in 1916 and was there until 1935, when his wife Lorena and he were married. They moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1946 where he founded ACME/Jenkins Transfer & Storage Inc. in 1959 and remained President of the company. He was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church. He was an avid fisherman and a lifetime member of B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #1795.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Richardson; and sisters and brothers, Edna Nowling, Luverne Breuer, Robert Jenkins, Edris Jenkins and Bernard Jenkins.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Lorena B. Jenkins; daughter, Betty Lux of Exton, Penn.; sons, James C. Jenkins and wife Jennifer of Mary Esther, Fla., and Bill Jenkins and wife Lyn of Destin, Fla.; son-in-law, Ferriest Richardson of Lessburg, Fla; brothers and sisters, Glenn Jenkins and wife, Betty and Archie Jenkins and wife, Darlene, all of Pensacola.

Funeral services will be conducted at McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel Monday, January 3, 2000 at 2 p.m. with Bishop Clifton McArthur officiating.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

MCLAUGHLIN MORTUARY, 17 Chestnut Ave. Fort Walton Beach, Fla., has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends at McLaughlin Mortuary Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida.

BARBARA JEAN LORD

Mrs. Barbara Jean Lord, 69, of Milton, died Friday morning, December 31, 1999, in a local nursing facility.

Mrs. Lord was a native and lifelong resident of the Northwest Florida area. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Lord; and a son, Ricky Flowers.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Lord (Tom) and Charlene Carr (Edward); four sons, Tom Lord (Sue), Danny Lord (JoAnn), David Lord (Hollie) and Ray Lord (Tammy); mother, Dorothy O'Connell; one brother, Bubba Sinnott; one special sister-in-law, Carolyn Flowers (Robert); 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lord will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2000 at the Lewis Funeral Home with Father Benedict Klucinec officiating.

Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.

LEWIS FUNERAL HOME OF MILTON is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2000.

GEORGE HUNTER MOCK

George Hunter Mock, 81, of Duboise, PA, died Friday morning, December 31, 1999 at his home in Pensacola following an extended illness.

George Mock moved from Warren, Pennsylvania with his family in 1956 to accept a position with Chemstrand/Monsanto Company. He was a Chemical Engineer with them until his retirement in 1982. George was awarded several patents while with Monsanto, all related to chemicals and the distillation/recovery by-products in nylon production. He graduated from Penn State University in 1940. He marched in the Penn State Blue Band. He played trombone in the Corry, Pennsylvania summer band.

Mr. Mock's survivors include his wife of 55 years, Ruth Nagel Mock; five children, their families and six grandchildren, all living in the Pensacola area, Ruth Ann Mock, Barbara Mock England, Valerie & Joseph Civelli, Jeffrey & Kay Mock, G. Scott & Jewel Mock and a brother, James and Joella Mock of Philipsburg, PA.

His children called him ``Dad". Dad studied The Word daily, and loved to play hymns on the organ. He was saved through a Gideons Bible found in a hotel room. He was a member of the Pensacola Christian Campus Church. His wife, children and grandchildren will miss him, but know we will see him again in Glory.

Funeral services will be held at 7 pm, Monday, January 3, 2000 at Cedar Hill Chapel with Pastor Jim Schettler, Pensacola Christian Campus Church, officiating.

Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, PA.

CEDAR HILL CHAPEL, is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at Cedar Hill Chapel from 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.

HONG LIEN NGUYEN

Hong Lien Nguyen, 49, of Orlando, Fla., died Tuesday, December 28, 1999, died in a hospital following a battle with cancer.

Hong Lien Nguyen was born October 12, 1950 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She lived in Pensacola from 1975 to 1990 and then moved to Orlando. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Orlando.

Survivors include her children, Paul, Sean, Jason, Genevieve, Tu Uyen, Tu Anh, Tu Nguyet; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ca Nguyen; 10 brothers and sisters; two aunts and two uncles.

Services at 10 a.m. January 3, 2000 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs with Father Augustine Hue, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul, Jason, Sean, Sy, Nghia, Chung, Joe and Tien.

WATERS AND HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at Waters and Hibbert funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2000.

The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. January 2, 2000 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

IDA ANN PORTER ``LITTLE IDA"

Ida Ann Porter ``Little Ida", 70, of Pensacola, died Monday, December 27, 1999, in a local hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Porter was a life long resident of Pensacola and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Porter, Jr. of Seattle, Wash. and Emmanuel Porter of Lake Jackson, Texas ; two daughters and son-in-law, Lynette Ogletree and Katrina and Jessie Brooks, her former husband, James Porter, Sr., and a brother, Herbert Crosby, all of Pensacola; a sister, Margaret Phillips of Toledo, Ohio; two aunts, Ida Mann and Louise Mann, both of Pensacola; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Thomas Bonanti Celebran officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

BENBOE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home for viewing from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Sincere appreciation is extended to Dr. R. Samson, ECC, Baptist Hospital Staff and the staff of Rosewood Manor, for their care.

RALPH R. CURREY

Ralph R. Currey passed away at his home on Friday, December 31, 1999. He was born in Morris Plains, New Jersey.

Mr. Currey was a veteran of World War II having served with a PT Boat Squadron in the Asiatic Pacific. He was long associated with road construction and was sales manager for A.J. Ferrante & Sons in Bernardsville, New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Brenda Boulton of Gulf Breeze, FL; son, Robert & his wife, Patricia of Richardson, TX; 3 loving & caring grandsons, Mark Currey, and Scott & Jeff Boulton; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2000 at 6 pm, at the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. Time to visit with the family will follow the service.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church Building Fund, a project Mr. Currey was most anxious to see realized.

DEBRA LYNN GAINEY

Debra Lynn Gainey, 43, a native of Pensacola, died Wednesday, December 29, 1999.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; sons, Christopher, Henry and Timmy; sisters, Maybell Sessions, Gertrude Williamson and Mavis Bradberry; brothers, W.L., Z.L., Billy, Eddie, George and K.L. Hopkins.

McNEIL-KEYES FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Visiting will be at McNeil-Keyes Funeral Home on January 4 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.

Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
