Donald Tyson Seigler

MELROSE -- Donald Tyson Seigler of Melrose died Monday at Vencor Hospital in Green Cove Springs after an extended illness. He was 72.

He was born in Grandin and moved to Melrose in 1967.

Mr. Seigler served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served in the National Guard at Camp Blanding and later at Palatka, where he served as a supply sergeant. He was a businessman in the agricultural industry and a part owner of a trucking business in Gainesville.

After graduating from Melrose High School, he attended the University of Florida.

He was named the "Young Farmer of the Year" in 1962. He was a former member of the executive committee of the Democratic Party, Melrose Precinct.

Mr. Seigler was a lifelong member of the Paran Baptist Church in Grandin.

Survivors include his wife, Sonia Seigler of Melrose; and five sisters, Elizabeth Williams of St. Simons Island, Ga., Marcia Lee of Beaumont, Texas, Marilou Glidden of Pittsburgh, Doris Collins of Jacksonville and Norma Simpson of Denver.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Paran Baptist Church cemetery Association.

Lula C. Shepard

TRENTON -- Lula C. Shepard of Trenton died Wednesday at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton. She was 79.

She was born in Montbrook and moved to Trenton from Immokalee in 1988.

Mrs. Shepard was a homemaker and a member of the Newberry Church of God. She served on the Ladies Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Shepard.

Survivors include a daughter, Marcell Cooley of Trenton; a son, Ira J. Arnold of Naples; two stepdaughters, Patricia Holmes and Shirley Hood, both of Omaha, Neb.; five stepsons, Bernie Shepard of Thomasville, Ga., Gary Shepard and Gene Shepard, both of Sarasota, Ed Shepard of Anchorage, Alaska, and Glenn Shepard of Perry, Ga.; a sister, Elsie Campbell of Cedar Key; a brother, J.C. Collins of Cedar Key; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Mazzie Watts

Mazzie Watts, a lifelong resident of Gainesville, died Sunday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Gainesville after a brief illness. She was 92.

Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke A.M.E. Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dolores Peterson French

WILLISTON -- Dolores Peterson French of Williston died Sunday at North Florida Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 83.

Mrs. French, who was born in Minneapolis and moved to Williston 24 years ago from Livingston, N.J. She was a homemaker and member of the Williston Highlands Golf & Country Club. She was Lutheran.

Mrs. French was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. French.

Survivors include twin daughters, Barbara Snedeker and Janice Doerflein, both of Mercerville, N.J.; a brother, Lloyd Peterson of Minneapolis; and a granddaughter.

Kyle Jayson Loveall

ALACHUA -- Kyle Jayson Loveall of Alachua died Sunday following an auto accident. He was 18.

Born in Fountain Valley, Calif., Mr. Loveall moved to the Alachua area in 1990. He graduated from Santa Fe High School earlier this year and worked as a boat patcher at Hunter Marine in Alachua. He was Baptist.

Survivors include his father, Tim Loveall of Alachua; his mother, Kelly Loveall of Alachua; a brother, Collyn Loveall of Alachua; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Maralyn Loveall, both of Gainesville; and his maternal grandfather, Russell Hancock of Owosso, Mich.

Alice Lorraine Misiak

Alice Lorraine Misiak of Gainesville died Oct. 19 at Shands at AGH after a long illness. She was 71.

She was a certified nursing assistant for 30 years. She worked for University Nursing Care Center and she also worked as a home health care nurse.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Edel and Maggie Kellock, both of Gainesville; a son, John Misiak of New Orleans; two sisters, Jean Hummel of Denver and Judith Lighter of Golden, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grand- child.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Hospice House of North Central Florida.

Eloise Griffis Pearce

RAIFORD -- Eloise Griffis Pearce of Raiford died Monday at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after a brief illness. She was 78.

She was born in Union County and has lived most of her life in the Raiford area.

Mrs. Pearce was a homemaker and a member of the New River New Congregational Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Pearce.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Allen of Starke and Mary Dugger of Jacksonville; a son, Johnny Pearce of Raiford; two sisters, Vera Alvarez of Brooker and Sadie Mae Crawford of Macclenny; five brothers, Calvin Griffis Jr., Gerald Griffis, J.D. Griffis and Alvin Griffis, all of Raiford, and Ressie Griffis of Lake Butler; 11 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

Angeline Repinski

WILLISTON -- Angeline Repinski of Williston died Sunday at Oakview Rehabilitation Center in Williston after an extended illness. She was 96.

She was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to Williston from Garfield Heights, Ohio, nine years ago.

Mrs. Repinski was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, and was a member for 35 years of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Garfield Heights.

Mrs. Repinski was a member of the Poles of America, Group 48, in Cleveland. She enjoyed baking and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Repinski; her daughter, Eleanore Angeles; and her son, Richard Repinski.

Survivors include three daughters, Clara Repinski and Theresa Ward, both of Williston, and Loretta Rodriquez of Union City, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Oliver Gene Sharp

CHIEFLAND -- Oliver Gene Sharp of Chiefland died Sunday at his home. He was 69.

Mr. Sharp was an auto body repairman. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Born in Alicia, Ark., Mr. Sharp moved to Chiefland 61 years ago.

He belonged the Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter in Chiefland.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two sons, Glen Sharp and Dale Sharp, both of Inglis; four daughters, Shari Sharp, Jennifer Hudson and Christie Reed, all of Chiefland, and April Cowart of Ocala; two brothers, Billy Ray Sharp of Chiefland and Bobby Sharp of Gainesville; two sisters, Virginia Meeks and Freeda Barnhill, both of Chiefland; 12 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Angus Berry Shoupe

OCALA -- Angus Berry Shoupe of Ocala died Sunday. He was 85.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Navy Seabees.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jimmie Helen Freeman.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Edna L. Shoupe; two daughters, Janet Glanville of Lyons, Ga., and Debra Oberlin of Gainesville; two sons, Skip Shoupe of Watkinsville, Ga., and Clifford Earl Shoupe of Greensboro, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Hospice of Marion County.

Ina Pauline Mitchell

ARCHER -- Ina Pauline Mitchell of Archer died Friday in Archer in her daughter's home. She was 94.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Lincoln, Neb., and moved to Archer from Keokuk, Iowa, 12 years ago. She was a farmer and Protestant who enjoyed reading, cooking and crocheting.

Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose-Ina Rotter.

Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Wenrich of Orange County, Calif., and Diana Hoyt of Archer; two sons, Gene Mitchell of Fredonia, Ariz., and Bruce Mitchell of Belleview, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
