Eula C. Lindsey

FANNING SPRINGS -- Eula C. "Pat" Lindsey of Fanning Springs died Wednesday at her home. She was 81.

Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker.

She was born in Atmore, Ala., and moved from Albany, Ga., to Fanning Springs 16 years ago.

Mrs. Lindsey was a member of Cherry Sink Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Lindsey of Fanning Springs; two daughters, Barbara L. Chewning of Cross City and June Wilkerson of Trenton; a sister, Twynette Williams of Plant City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to Hospice of North Central Florida in Chiefland.

Agnes L. McNeil

Agnes L. McNeil of Gainesville died Friday at Shands at AGH after a short illness. She was 57.

Mrs. McNeil was a homemaker.

She was born in St. Augustine and was a lifelong resident of Gainesville.

Mrs. McNeil was educated in Alachua County.

Survivors include a daughter, Nellie Jones of Gainesville; a son, Willie J. McNeil of Gainesville; two sisters, Catherine McNeil of Gainesville and Daisy M. Bennett of Palatka; a brother, Paul Sellers of Sarasota; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

David Lamar Nettles Jr.

ALACHUA -- David Lamar Nettles Jr. of Alachua died unexpectedly Saturday at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 38.

Mr. Nettles was a laborer.

He was born in Williston and moved from Williston to Alachua six years ago.

Mr. Nettles attended Williston High School.

Survivors include two sisters, Ceola Cambridge of Philadelphia and Theresa Miller of Williston; two brothers, Jerry Nettles of Williston and Larry Nettles of Lakeland; and his companion, Shirley Brown of Alachua.

Leola Ilene Melton Robinson

OLD TOWN -- Leola Ilene Melton Robinson of Old Town died July 29 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville after a long illness. She was 66.

Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker.

She was born in Eugene and was a lifelong resident of Cross City.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of Royal Temple Church In Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Elder Lorenzo Robinson of Old Town; five sons, Robert Washington of Gettysburg, Pa., Larry Robinson of Chiefland, Vernon Robinson and Terrance Robinson, both of Old Town, and Benjamin Robinson of West Palm Beach; three daughters, Lisa Owens of Old Town, Julia Alston of Chiefland and Tara Coker of Gainesville; her stepmother, Maybell Wilson of Gainesville; two stepbrothers, Michael Wilson and Jody Wilson, both of Gainesville; two stepsisters, Andrey Wilson of Tallahassee and Dorothy Martin of Fort Myers; and 15 grandchildren.

Mae D. Starling

LIVE OAK -- Mae D. Starling of Live Oak died Tuesday at Shands at Live Oak after a long illness. She was 95.

Mrs. Starling was a homemaker and a member of Patmus Primitive Baptist Church in Dowling Park.

She was born in Hamilton County and moved from Dowling Park to Live Oak 26 years ago.

Survivors include a stepson, Allen Starling of Folkston, Ga.; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Forrest E. Wilson

MELROSE -- Forrest E. Wilson of Melrose died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 92.

Mr. Wilson was retired from the U.S. Air Force and had served in the Korean War. He had also served in the U.S. Army.

He was born in LaCrosse and moved from Cocoa Beach to Melrose 46 years ago.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Eliam Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mavis Wilson of Melrose; and several nieces and nephews.

Vesta G. Clute

SEBRING -- Vesta G. Clute of Sebring died Saturday at her home. She was 99.

Mrs. Clute was a homemaker and a cafeteria worker in the Warren, Ohio, school system.

Born in Pemberton, Ohio, she lived in Gainesville 23 years. She moved from Gainesville to Sebring three years ago.

She belonged to the First Christian Missionary Alliance.

Mrs. Clute was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clute.

Survivors include a daughter, Viola Cover of Sebring; a son, Eldon Clute of Avon Park; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Daphine Gaylard

Daphine Gaylard of O'Brien died Saturday at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville after a long illness. She was 79.

Mrs. Gaylard was a homemaker and farmer.

Born in O'Brien, Mrs. Gaylard was a lifelong Suwannee County resident.

She was a 54-year member of the Branford Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as the Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Gaylard was preceded in death by her husband, Archie William Gaylard Sr.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Roberson of Jacksonville; one son, A. W. Gaylard of Branford; one sister, Etta Drawdy of O'Brien; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth B. Kozlowski

ARCHER -- Elizabeth B. Kozlowski of Archer died Friday at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton. She was 69.

Mrs. Kozlowski was a homemaker.

Born in Pittsburgh, she moved 17 years ago from Canonsburg, Pa., to Archer.

Mrs. Kozlowski belonged to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gainesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry John Kozlowski.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Benson of Ormond Beach; three sons, Walter Kozlowski of Pittsburgh, Henry Kozlowski Jr. of Houston, Pa., and Timothy John Kozlowski of Melrose; a sister, Mary Jane Rent of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Luis G. Perales

Luis G. Perales of Morriston died Thursday in Ocala. He was 62.

Mr. Perales was an engineer for Marriott hotels.

Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he moved from Clermont to Morriston seven years ago.

Mr. Perales was a Roman Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Perales of Morriston; two sons, Joseph Perales of Ocala and Luis Perales of New York; two daughters, Marion Robinson of Morriston and Julie Perales of New York; two sisters, Hayda Batista of Kissimmee and Eva Jimenez of Fort Lauderdale; and three grandchildren.
