LEROY "BOB" LAWSON, 70, of Hudson died Saturday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, he moved to this area one year ago from Highland, Mich. He was a retired federal meat inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Michigan, a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea, an ordained minister and a state, regional and national champion of roller skating dancing. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L.; three stepsons, Dan, David, and Robert, all of Michigan; two stepdaughters, Dinah and Sheilah both of Michigan; and 17 step-grandchildren. Bell Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

CHARLES R. MULLE, 69, of New Port Richey died Sunday at home. A native of Jersey City, N.J., he moved to this area 20 years ago from Springdale, N.J. CATHERINE NEUMAYER, 66, of Hudson died Sunday at the Arbors at Bayonet Point. She moved to this area two years ago from her native New York City. She was a retired account executive for D'Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles Advertising Agency, and was Catholic. There are no known survivors. Prevatt Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

PHILIP J. PATTI SR., 76, of Port Richey died Saturday at home. A native of New York City, he moved to this area six years ago from Massapequa, N.Y. He was a retired manager for Inter Faith Medical Center in New York City. He is survived by a son, Victor J. of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and two grandchildren. Prevatt Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

MERLE FRANKLIN PHILLIPS, 72, of Zephyrhills died Sunday at Zephyr Haven Nursing Home in Zephyrhills. A native of Rockingham County, N.H., he moved to this area six years ago from Hammond, N.Y. He was a retired machinist for a telephone company, an Army veteran of Korea, member of the Church of the Living Word in Zephyrhills, the Grange in New Hampshire, the New York Communication Workers of America, Masons, Young Farmers Association. He is survived by a son, M. Clark of Redwood Falls, Minn.; two daughters, Carol Quinn and Christyn Caron both of Litchfield, N.H.; and five grandchildren. Whitfield Funeral Home, Zephyrhills.

ANTHONY PUORRO, 80, of Port Richey died Sunday at home. A native of New Jersey, he moved to this area eight years ago from Stonybrook, N.Y. He was a retired supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, an Army veteran of World War II, member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus both in Smithtown, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, Anthony of Brewster, N.Y., and Michael of Bohemia, N.Y.; three brothers, Angelo of Port Richey, Joseph of East Northport, N.Y., and James of San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Mildred DeCesar of Clearwater; and 10 grandchildren. He was a former co- owner of Harberson-Swanston Inc. in Clearwater and Holiday, an Army veteran of the Vietname War, Methodist, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and the American Legion Post both in St. Petersburg, and the Florida RV Trade Association in Tampa. He is survived by his wife, Sharon L.; a son, Billy of Spring Hill; his mother, Kathleen of Hudson; two brothers, John "Tiny" of Pinellas Park, and Michael J. of Hudson; a sister, Carol of New Port Richey; and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by four sons, Timothy of New Port Richey, Robert of Lorraine, Ohio, Thomas of Atwater, Ohio, and Todd of Alliance, Ohio; two daughters, Sharon Wycoff of Amhurst, Ohio, and Sandra Grove of Stowe, Ohio; a brother, Frank of Elyria, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Woodfield of Floral City; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
