He was a retired federal meat inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Michigan, a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea, an ordained minister and a state, regional and national champion of roller skating dancing. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L.; three stepsons, Dan, David, and Robert, all of Michigan; two stepdaughters, Dinah and Sheilah both of Michigan; and 17 step-grandchildren.
