John Seymore Seitler

WILLISTON - John Seymore Seitler died Wednesday at his residence in Williston. He was 62.

Mr. Seitler was born in Monetery, Tenn., and moved to Williston from Dalton, Ga., two years ago.

He was a retired cook.

He attended the House of Prayer in Romeo.

Survivors include eight children; three sisters, Jackie Broth, Betty Huff and Dorathy Lewis, all of Monetery; and two brothers, Jackob Seitler and Arthur Seitler, both of Monetery.

Nancy Poppell Shaw

PERRY - Nancy Poppell Shaw died of cancer Wednesday at her residence in Perry.

Mrs. Shaw was a native of Taylor County.

Survivors include her husband, John O. Shaw of Perry; three sons, Edwin Shaw, Martin Shaw and Gilbert Shaw, all of Perry; five brothers, Doug Poppell of Perry, Samuel W. Poppell of Florala, Ala., Dan Poppell of Gonzales, Kenneth Poppell of Grand Rivers, Ky., and Ralph Delano of Gainesville; three sisters, Rachel Sapp, Golla McGowen and Mary Ann Moulten, all of Perry; and two grandchildren.

Charles Richard Banks

Charles Richard Banks of Gainesville died Thursday in Gainesville. He was 58.

Mr. Banks was born in Darlington County, S.C., and moved to Gainesville from Ocala six years ago.

He was a laborer for Sonoco Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Gainey and McLeod Banks.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacie Woodham of Hartsville, S.C.; a sister, Diane McCarthy of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Junior Banks of Tennessee and Terry Banks; and two grandchildren.

Martha Evelyn Bess

Martha Evelyn Bess died Tuesday at her residence in Gainesville. She was 66.

Mrs. Bess was born in Grand Junction, Tenn., and moved to Gainesville from Memphis in 1984.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include a daughter, Cyndi Cummings of Gainesville; a son, Bradley Newsom of Memphis; six brothers; three sisters; seven grandchildren; and a great-grand- child.

Addie Mae Brockington

Addie Mae Brockington of Gainesville died Sunday at Shands at AGH following an extended illness. She was 78.

Mrs. Brockington was born in Louise and moved to Gainesville 55 years ago.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, where she served as a member of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include six daughters, Barbara Gaither, Sherrel Brockington, Jacquelyn Green, Earnestine Butler, Sandra Jackson and Beverly Hudson, all of Gainesville; two sons, George Brockington and Alphonso Brockington, both of Gainesville; 31 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchil- dren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Myrtle I. Bryant

OLD TOWN -- Myrtle I. Bryant of Old Town died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was 72.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Moniac, Ga., and lived in Horseshoe Beach and Jacksonville before moving to Old Town six years ago.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Old Town.

She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Macclenny.

Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by two husbands, Ernest C. Richardson and Wyley W. Bryant; and a son, John Robert Bryant.

Survivors include a daughter, Tina Ellison of Old Town; two sons, Clayton Richardson of Old Town and Edward Hoovler of Cross City; a brother, Benjamin F. Chism of Moniac, Ga.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Thomas John Cummings

Thomas John Cummings of Gainesville died Tuesday at Shands at the University of Florida. He was 58.

Mr. Cummings was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Gainesville from Long Island, N.Y., in 1979.

He was a registered nurse at Shands at UF.

He was a Protestant.

Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Beth Cummings; and a son, Torre John Cummings.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Cummings of Gainesville; two daughters, Adrienne Cummings Burch and Torrie Alessandra Cummings, both of Gainesville; a son, Spencer Thomas Cummings of Gainesville; a brother, George Frank of Gainesville; and four grandchildren.

Tonya Marie Cunningham

Tonya Marie Cunningham of High Springs died Sunday in an automobile accident in Gainesville. She was 30.

A New York City native, she moved to Gainesville in 1986.

She was a customer service representative and a Baptist. She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her companion, Theodore Davis of High Springs; three sons, Ardell D. Wilcox, Alexi D. Wilcox and Jordan T. McFadden, all of High Springs; her mother, Margo L. Cunningham of Micanopy; her father, William Lance of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Jenelle Griles of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; a brother, Alvin M. Cunningham Jr. of New York City; a half-sister, Carol Eady of New York City; three half-brothers, Ray Eady, Kevin Lance and Derrick Lance, all of New York City; and two grandmothers, Sarah Kelson of New York City and Katherine Lance of Charleston, S.C.

Deloris E. Darby

MELROSE -- Deloris E. Darby died Monday at her residence in Melrose following a brief illness. She was 41.

Mrs. Darby was born in Jacksonville and moved to Melrose 14 years ago.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Shaketa Ray of Keystone Heights, Wandarda Ray and Lillian Ray, both of Jacksonville; a son, Kenneth Pace of Jacksonville; a sister, Doretha Carlisle of Jacksonville; a brother, Willie Ford of Keystone Heights; and two grandchildren.

Stella Feagle

ALACHUA - Stella Feagle of Alachua died in an automobile accident Jan. 15. She was 62.

Mrs. Feagle was born in Enigma, Ga., and lived most of her life in Alachua.

She was an Alachua County school bus driver.

She attended Forest Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Feagle of Alachua; seven children, Ruthie Smith of Lake City, Terry Baisden of Lake City, Wayne Feagle of Portland, Ore., Carla Mead of Casselberry, Eddie Feagle of Albuquerque, N.M., Lena Harris of Newberry and Sabrina Aguirre of Williston; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Lilly A. Freeman

Lilly A. Freeman of Gainesville died Tuesday in Gainesville. She was 90.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Flat Rock, N.C., and moved to Gainesville from Port Orange in 1973.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Fairbanks Baptist Church.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Glenn Freeman, and a son, Billie Eugene Freeman.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Griffis of Gainesville; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Freeman of Hendersonville, N.C.; a sister, Josephine Bell of East Flat Rock, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grand- child.

Expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to the Hospice of North Central Florida.

Larry Lee Goss

CHIEFLAND -- Larry Lee Goss of Chiefland died Monday at Oakview Rehabilitation Center in Williston. He was 54.

Mr. Goss was born in Sandusky, Ohio, and moved to Chiefland from Orlando two months ago.

He was a delivery driver.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Goss.

Survivors include his mother, Eileen Goss Mickler of Chiefland; and a brother, Dennis Goss of Manheim, Pa.
