Paul Andrew Mabee Drake of St. Petersburg died Friday. He was 39.
Mr. Drake was born in Waverly, N.Y.
He was a chef in Ithaca, N.Y., St. Petersburg and Gainesville.
Survivors include a son, Erik James Mabee Drake of Tampa; his parents, George and Loretta Drake of Gainesville; sisters Doris Hyde of Durham, N.C., Karen Golden of Tampa and Linda Murphy of Danby, N.Y.

Alvin Earl Graham
LAKE CITY - Alvin Earl Graham died Monday at his brother's home in Brooker. He was 76.
Mr. Graham was born in Columbia County and lived in Lake City all his life. He was a retired chief plant inspector for the state.
He earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Florida. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Advent Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte L. Graham, and his son, Alvin P. Graham.
He is survived by a daughter, Cherlan Vahedi of Lake City; brothers Marvin Graham of Brooker, Arnold Graham of North Carolina, Nevin Graham of Lake City and Royce Graham of Waynesboro, Va.; four grandchildren; and one great-grand- child.

Clara Shearouse Link
Clara Shearouse Link of Gainesville died Tuesday. She was 100.
Mrs. Link was born in Windsor and was a lifelong resident of Gainesville. She was a sales clerk with Belk Lindsey for 32 years. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church and loved to travel.

Henry Franklin Parmenter
Henry "H.F." Franklin Parmenter of Alma, Ga., died of natural causes at Hospice House in Gainesville on Monday. He was 80.
Mr. Parmenter moved to Alma from Bradford County three years ago. He was a maintenance manager.
He was educated in the Bradford County school system, and he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Alma Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Louise Parmenter, and a daughter, Ruth Parmenter Holder.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gale Parmenter of Alma; sons Vernon and Danny Parmenter, both of Starke; a daughter, Janet Parmenter Lawson of Georgia; two stepsons, Eddie Walker of Huntington, W. Va., and Stephen Walker of Nashville; a stepdaughter, Penny Pelfrey of Alma; a half-sister, Evelyn Amy of West Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchil- dren; and three step-great- grandchildren.

Walter Haskett Robinton Sr.
Walter Haskett Robinton Sr. of Gainesville died Monday at his home. He was 97.
Mr. Robinton was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and moved to Gainesville in 1920. He was a retired chief investigator for the Florida Securities Commission. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Over the course of a 16-year career at the Gainesville Police Department, he was superintendent of GPD's first Bureau of Investigation and wrote training manuals and articles on law enforcement.
He was a member of Gainesville Lodge 41 Free and Accepted Masons and became Worshipful Master. He was a charter member and president of the Gainesville Police Benevolent Association.
Survivors include sons Walter H. Robinton Jr. of Largo and Charles Mark Robinton II of Tallahassee; sisters Elizabeth Robinton of Lenox, Mass., and Florence Hutson of Minneapolis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Steven Lewis Warren
MIDDLEBURG - Steven Lewis Warren died suddenly on Monday at his residence. He was 38.
Mr. Warren was born in Starke. He moved from Jacksonville to Middleburg five years ago.
He was a Baptist and worked for the Millwright local Union 211. He was a former employee of Maxwell House Coffee Co.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Simonds Warren of Middleburg; a daughter, Holli Marie Warren of Jacksonville; a son, Caleb Ryan Warren of Jacksonville; his stepfather and mother, Bill and Linda Johns Allen of Starke; and a sister, Susan Warren Inman of Jacksonville.

George Young
George Young of Gainesville died of a short illness Friday at the Hospice Center.
Born in Georgetown, S.C., Mr. Young moved to Gainesville from Brooklyn, N.Y., 18 years ago. He was a retired maintenance employee with the New York City Housing Authority.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received an American Theatre Campaign Medal, an Enmet Campaign Medal with five bronze stars and a Good Conduct Medal.
He was a member of Fort Clarke Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Young of Gainesville; a daughter, Elaine Young of Gainesville; sons Norman and Herman Young, both of Gainesville, and James Orange of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brothers Henry Young of Elyria, Ohio, and Irvin Young of Mullin, S.C.; sisters Evelina Murray of Bronx, N.Y., and Minnie Johnson, Janie Moultrie and Rebecca Green, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

L.J. Bass
BELL -- L.J. Bass, a lifelong resident of Bell, died Monday at the Hospice House of Gainesville. He was 67.
Mr. Bass was a retired tree surgeon and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bell. He was preceded in death by a son, John Bass.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Bass of Bell; two daughters, Patricia Marzloff of Mayo and Virginia Bass of Bell; a son, Kenneth Bass of Bell; a half-sister, Myrna Spencer of Ocala; and eight grandchildren.
Jennifer Gayle Blackwelder
LAKE BUTLER -- Jennifer Gayle Blackwelder died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was 38.
She was born in Gainesville and has lived in Lake Butler since 1977. Mrs. Blackwelder was a member of the Danville Church of Christ in Lake Butler.
Survivors include her parents, Charles and Frances Blackwelder, both of Lake Butler.
James P. Clark
WILLISTON -- James P. Clark of Williston died Sunday at Nature Coast Regional Hospital in Williston after an extended illness. He was 81.
He was born in Springville, N.Y., and moved to Williston from Fort Monmouth, N.J., in 1963.
Mr. Clark retired as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army after 27 years of service.
He was a charter member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, where he served on various committees. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 11784 in Williston and a member of the Williston Highlands Golf and Country Club, where he was club manager and bartender for nine years.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Clark.
Survivors include two sisters, Rita Clemmons of Hamburg, N.Y., and Wilma Bermel of Tonawanda, N.Y.; and two brothers, William Clark of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Elwyn Clark of Eden, N.Y.

Thomas Fred Davis
OLD TOWN -- Thomas Fred Davis died Monday at his residence in Old Town after an extended illness. He was 23.
He was born in Louisville and moved to Old Town from Tampa 14 years ago.
He was in the recycling business, and he loved four-wheeling and mud pulls.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Davis of Old Town; his parents, Harry Davis and Becky Rogers, both of Old Town; a daughter, Kandis Tietz of Old Town; a son, Buddy Tietz of Old Town; two sisters, Angel Rogers and Dawn Rogers, both of Old Town; and two brothers, Greg Davis and Harry Davis Jr., both of Old Town.
Harold Hubert Fleming II
WILLISTON -- Harold Hubert Fleming II of Williston died suddenly Sunday at his residence in Williston. He was 44.
Mr. Fleming was director of Liberty Ambulance Service and first lieutenant commander of Marion Lite Artillery in the Son's of the Confederate Veterans.
He was born in Parma, Mo., and moved to Williston five years ago.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lavonnie Fleming of Williston; his parents, Harold H. Fleming and Verneta Fleming, both of Parma, Mo.; three daughters, Terri Rohlfing of Morriston, Stacy Rohlfing of Jacksonville and Susan Shirah of Aburndale; five sons, Harold H. Fleming III of Korea, Marvin Santerfeit of Dacula, Ga., Tony Santerfeit of Pensacola, Billy Santerfeit of Bronson and Michael Santerfeit of Bronson; two sisters, Patty Timmer of Hernando and Tina Durham of Campbell, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
