Olga Muller, 80 Inverness

Olga M. Muller, 80, Inverness, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County.

Born Dec. 5, 1922, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Hulio and Maria Del Valle, she moved here in 1982 from East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y.

Mrs. Muller was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness and the Spanish-American Club of Citrus County.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Julio Del Valle.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Hans Muller of Inverness; two daughters, Madleine Foster of Hicksville, L.I., N.Y., and Gloria Rigos of Inverness; one son, Louis Muller of Fredricksberg, Va.; three sisters, Eva Criscuolo of Inverness, Mary Ambrose of Island Park, N.Y., and Ester Surianello of Ossining, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Eleanor Olsen, 86 Lecanto

Eleanor V. Olsen, 86, Lecanto, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Lecanto.

She was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Alexander and Amy Swensen and moved here in 1981 from Long Island, N.Y.

Mrs. Olsen was a former secretary for the Catholic Dioceses.

She was Methodist.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice J. Warren of Port Orange and Marie Furciato (Robert) of Lecanto; a sister, Alice Kaylor of St. Petersburg; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Reba Tungate 83 Charlestown, IND.

Reba Muriel Tungate 83, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Riverview Village, Clarksville, Ind. She was a native of Duff and retired from the U.S. Census Bureau.

She was a member of Crystal River Moose Lodge 2013.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Tungate, St. Henry and Dr. Freddie Tungate, Georgetown, Ind.; a daughter, Sonja J. Kendrick, Charlestown, Ind.; a brother, David Forston, Booneville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Stanley Vieachore, 88 Inverness

Stanley Vieachore, 88, Inverness, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, in Inverness.

Born in Poland, he lived in Hudson and Beverly Hills prior to moving to Inverness three years ago.

Mr. Vieachore was a retired boiler operator with Macy's Department Store in New York City, N.Y.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also served in the Merchant Marines and in the Polish Navy.

He was a member of the Harry F. Nesbitt VFW Post 10087, Beverly Hills.

He was Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia T. Milke-Vieachore, April 17, 2002.

Survivors include his stepson, Lawrence Milke and wife, Joyce, of Utica, Mich.; stepdaughter, Elaine Herchock of St. Claire Shores, Mich.; one stepgrandson; six stepgranddaughters; and 11 great-stepgrandchildren.

Pearl Allen, 82 Beverly Hills

Pearl B. Allen, 82, Beverly Hills, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Inverness.

She was born Feb. 7, 1921, in North Walpole, N.H., to Forrest and Jean (Wynn) Hall Sr. She moved to the area in 1985 from Reading, Mass.

Mrs. Allen was a homemaker.

She served with the U.S. Coast Guard SPARS during World War II.

She was a member of the SHARE Club and was a volunteer at Central Ridge Library, Beverly Hills. She was a member of the Beverly Hills Community Church. She belonged to a local Beverly Hills craft club. She loved line dancing and was a member of two local clubs.

Her husband, Daniel DeCe Allen Jr., son, Clifford Daniel Allen and two brothers, Russell Hall and Forrest Hall Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, David P. Allen of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Nancy P. Miceli and her husband, Bruce, of Woburn, Mass.; two brothers, William Hall of East Setauket, N.Y., and Richard Hall of Tewksbury, Mass.; two sisters, Norma Castonguay of Beverly Hills and Helen Ayers of Plaistow, N.H.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren,

Lester Baverstock, 103 Lecanto

Lester John Baverstock, 103, Lecanto, died, Oct. 26, 2003, in Lecanto.

He was born March 17, 1900, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to George and Nellie Baverstock. He came to the area many years ago from Hollis, N.Y.

He was a retired fireman with the New York City Fire Department.

Mr. Baverstock served in the U.S. Army during World War I. In 2002, he was recognized as the oldest living veteran in Citrus County.

He was a member of the Community Church of Beverly Hills.

His wife, Annette Baverstock and a brother, George W. Baverstock, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, John Duggan of Vero Beach, a sister-in-law, Florence Duggan of Vero Beach; and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel Odier, 37 Lecanto

Daniel W. Odier, 37, Lecanto, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, in Inverness.

He was born Dec. 12, 1965, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Leslie and Nancy Odier. He came to Lecanto from Clearwater in 2000.

He was an over-the-road driver for Heartland Trucking.

He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando.

Survivors include his wife, Denise A. Odier, of Lecanto; a stepson, Nicholas J. Schnackernberg, of Lecanto; father, Leslie W. Odier, of Spiceland, Ind.; a brother, Michael E. Odier, of New Orleans, La.; two grandmothers, Francile E. Odier, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Inez Marsh of Albion, Ind.

Eleanor 'Betty' Pemberton, 92 Dunnellon

Eleanor "Betty" Pemberton, 92, Dunnellon, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Dunnellon.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She moved to the area in 1998 from St. Petersburg.

She was a sales clerk.

Mrs. Pemberton was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon. She was a former member of the Riveria United Methodist Church and the Allendale United Methodist Church, both in St. Petersburg. She was also instrumental in starting the American Baptist Church of Beatitudes in St. Petersburg.

Survivors include a son, Robert E. Pemberton of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Gloria Sutton of Dunnellon; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a great-great-grandchild.
