PALM COAST - Aimee Felser, 74, of Fenwick Lane, a resident since 1983, died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. Felser, a homemaker, was born in Pittsburgh and came here from Morrisville, Pa. She was a member of Beth Juda Temple, Ormond Beach.
Survivors include a son, John, Tamarac; a daughter, Cherie Noonan, Piscataway, N.J.; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the International Rett Syndrome Association, 9121 Piscataway Road, Suite 2B, Clinton, Md. 20735. Alderson's, Palm Coast, is in charge.

Gary Gault
DAYTONA BEACH - Gary L. Gault, 38, of South Beach Street, a teacher for Ormond Beach Middle School, died Thursday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach following a long illness.
Mr. Gault was born in Greenville, S.C., and moved to this area five years ago from Gainesville. He was a member of Tomoka United Methodist Church, 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America.
Survivors include two sons, Jacob and Jonathan, both of DeLand; his father, Hugh, Owasso, Okla.; and a sister, Marion Geiger, Gainesville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1510 Ridgewood Avenue, Suite 201, Holly Hill 32117. Dale Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.

Rafael Gavilanes
PORT ORANGE - Rafael Gavilanes, 75, of Del Rio Drive, a former owner of R. Gavilanes Inc., a materials handling co., died Wednesday, at home.
Mr. gavilanes, a British Army veteran of World War II, moved here in 1994 from his birthplace, Spain. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and classical music.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Chris; two sons, Rafael and Luis, both of New York City; two daughters, Sandra Gavilanes, Bonilla, Spain, and Maria Gavilanes, Ormond Beach; four brothers, Juan and Martin, both of Spain, Jose, Puerto Rico, and Bernardino, Daytona Beach Shores; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart of Volusia, P.O. Box 3, Daytona Beach 32114. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

Manuel Gomes
DELTONA - Manuel J. Gomes, 74, of South Saxon Boulevard, a self-employed mason contractor for 30 years in South Dennis, Mass., died Thursday at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford.
Mr. Gomes came here in 1988 from his native, South Dennis. He also was the owner of Eagle Fence Co. for 15 years in South Dennis. He was a member of St. Clare Catholic Community, Deltona, Holy Trinity, West Harwich, Mass., and Dennis Pines Golf Club, South Dennis.
Survivors include a brother, John, South Dennis; and two sisters, Mary Meade, Deltona, and Anna Holbert, Hanover, Mass. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

William Hardham
ORANGE CITY - William Lawrence Fraser Hardham, 90, of North Lake Drive, a retired employee for Philadelphia Savings Fund Society, died Monday at John Knox Village.
Mr. Hardham, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Newark, N.J., and came here in 1994 from Stuart. He was a graduate of Haverford College, Haverford, Pa.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Florence; two sons, William, Wilmington, Del., and Lawrence, Buxton, N.C.; a brother, John, Paso Robles, Calif.; a sister, Virginia Nichols, Montclair, N.J.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119. Allen-Summerhill, Orange City, is in charge.

Bette Harrington
MIMS - Bette Harrington, 80, of Tupelo Avenue, a former resident of Daytona Beach, died Wednesday at Monroe Regional Hospital, Ocala.
Mrs. Harrington, retired owner and operator of Brevard Ridgeway Mayflower Moving and Storage, moved to Mims in 1964 from her native Daytona Beach. She was a graduate of Seabreeze High School, Daytona Beach, and attended Stetson University, DeLand, and the University of Florida, Gainesville. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Titusville.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Grant, Silver Springs; a brother, Don Thompson, Daytona Beach; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville, is in charge.

Melva Hinson
DAYTONA BEACH - Melva Lorelle Hinson, 41, of Georgia Avenue, a former teacher at Campbell Middle School, died Wednesday at Halifax Medical Center.
Mrs. Hinson was born in Hastings, and moved here in 1976 from New Jersey. She was a member of Stewart Memorial United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir. She also sang with the Inspirational Gospel Singers. She was a 1980 graduate of Bethune-Cookman College.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Fletcher Jr., and Andrew Hinson, both of Daytona Beach; her father and stepmother, Claretha and Andrew Hinson, Port St. Lucie; and four sisters, Andrea Willis and Nina Murray, both of Tampa, LaWanda Brooks, Frazer, Pa., and Lynette Scott, West Chester, Pa. Herbert-Thompson is in charge.

Coletta Kennedy
DEBARY - Coletta F. Kennedy, 72, of Greyoaks Court, a retired general manager for the Salvation Army in Fort Lauderdale, for 10 years, died Wednesday at home.
Mrs. Kennedy was born in Cincinnati, and moved here in 1976 from Fort Lauderdale. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Rogers, DeBary, and Margaret Kennedy, Coral Springs; three brothers, Theodore, Franklin, N.C., Raymond, Cincinnati, and Daniel, Greenville, Ohio; two sisters, Selene Reik, North Carolina, and Karen Woulms, Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia /Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119. FourTowns Cremation, Orange City, is in charge.

Sophia Lewek
DAYTONA BEACH - Sophia J. Lewek, 87, of Williamson Boulevard, retired after 20 years of employment with Revere Copper and Brass, Rome, N.Y., died Wednesday at Indigo Manor.
Mrs. Lewek came here in 1977 from her native Rome, NY. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ormond Beach. She enjoyed needlework, golf and bowling.
Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Houseman, Ormond Beach, and Patricia Chandler, Ruther Glen, Va.; a brother, John DeRuby, Rome; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Bertha Lyman
EDGEWATER - Bertha M. Lyman, 83, of Godfrey Road, retired owner of the Valley Villa Restaurant, Chesterland, Ohio, died Thursday at Ocean View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Smyrna Beach.
Mrs. Lyman was born in Pennsylvania and came to Edgewater in 1940 from Chesterland.
Survivors include a son, Don Pengov, Edgewater; a stepson, Kenny Lyman, Parma, Ohio; a daughter, Patricia Hayes, Columbia, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Luann Tahari, New Orleans; a sister, Myrtle Braddick, Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Dudley, Edgewater, is in charge.

Geraldine O'Brien
NEW SMYRNA BEACH - Geraldine M. O'Brien, 76, of South Riverside Drive, a permanent resident since 1996, died Thursday at Bert Fish Medical Center.
Mrs. O'Brien, a homemaker was born in Mount Carmel, Pa., and moved to this area form Nesconset, N.Y. She was a winter resident for twenty years before permanently moving to this area. She was involved in the U.S.O. during World War II and worked in the war plant manufacturing military supplies. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Nesconset Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include a son, John, two daughters, Maureen O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Kula, all of New Smyrna Beach; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia /Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119. Settle-Wilder, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.

Nelsa O'Hara
DELEON SPRINGS - Nelsa O'Hara, 94, of DeLeon Springs, a retired in 1972 as a teacher for the Volusia County School System, died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. O'Hara came here in 1945 from her native New York. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, DeLand. She graduated from Cortland State College, N.Y. She enjoyed education and church.
Survivors include a stepson, Fay O'Hara, Orange City; and a daughter, Corinne O'Quinn, DeLeon Springs; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare of Memorial Hospital, 500 Memorial Circle, Suite C, Ormond Beach 32174. Volusia County Cremation, Daytona Beach, is in charge.

Barbara Pitts
PORT ORANGE - Barbara Joan Pitts, 83, of Sunlake Drive, a secretary for the civil service, died Wednesday at home.
Mrs. Pitts was born in Lynn, Mass., and moved here in 1988 from Fort Lauderdale. She enjoyed oil painting. Survivors include a grandson, Robert and his wife Edy, Port Orange, who provided for her care, and three more additional grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Marie Prilep
DELTONA - Marie K. Prilep, 91, of Trafalgar Street, a retired dental assistant, died Thursday at Mariner Health Care Center, Orange City.
Mrs. Prilep was born in Vimville, Miss., and came here in 1976 from Iowa. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Debary. She enjoyed writing poetry.
Survivors include three daughters, Katherine Carlson, Deltona; Kathleene Golden, DeBary, and Laverne Yellig, Bethel Park, Pa.; a brother, Ernest Kelly, Palm Beach; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Deltona Memorial, Orange City, is in charge.

Lester Reyer
DAYTONA BEACH - Lester Reyer, 77, of Flagstone Drive, a retired salesman, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital-Peninsula, Ormond Beach.
Mr. Reyer, an Army veteran of World War II, was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved here in 1952 from Orlando, and returning to this area again in 1980 from Oakdale, N.J. He was a member of the Temple Israel and a volunteer for the Volusia County Charter Review Commission. He enjoyed using his computer and being a Ham Radio operator. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Selma; two sons, Richard, Atlanta, and Mark, Millersville, Md.; a daughter, Alane Goldstein, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Francine Guido, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Temple Israel, 1400 S. Peninsula Dr., Daytona Beach 32118. Haigh-Black, Daytona Beach, is in charge.

Ralph Scherer
ORMOND BEACH - Ralph c. Scherer, 94 of Ocean Shore Boulevard, a retired merchandise manager with a wholesale paper company in Minneapolis, died Wednesday at home.
Mr. Scherer moved here 29 years ago from his native, Minneapolis. He was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Marie. Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.

John Turner Jr.
ORMOND BEACH - John F. Turner Jr., 23, of Fairland Avenue, a former aviation ordnance technician with the Marine Corps., died Thursday at Halifax Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on I-95.
Mr. Turner moved to this area a year ago from his birthplace Cleveland. He was a private pilot. He enjoyed working on cars and being around water.
Survivors include a son, Dominic, and a daughter, Samantha, both of Cleveland; his parents, John and Bonnie Turner, Ormond Beach; and two sisters, Tracy Fadenholz and Lisa Turner, both of Cleveland. Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.
