Robert Cooper Jr.
DAYTONA BEACH -- Robert Blanton Cooper Jr., 52, of North Beach Street, a longtime resident, died June 7 at Halifax Medical Center.
Mr. Cooper was born in Laurens, S.C.
No known immediate relatives survive. New Life Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

Robert Donley
DELTONA -- Robert Harrison Donley, 70, of Amero Avenue, a retired bricklayer for JD&E Construction and Equipment, Wheeling, W.Va., died Monday at home.
Mr. Donley moved here in 1995 from his native Wheeling. He also owned Donley's Pub in West Virginia. His memberships included the Bricklayers Union, the Cane Club, and the Eagles and Moose lodges. He was a past senior softball league commissioner in Volusia County.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Mary; a son, Robert Jr., Elm Grove, W.Va.; five daughters, Connie Harris, Port Orange, Barbara Divjak, Virginia Beach, Va., Susan Donley and Tammy Stoffer, both of Wheeling, and Sandy Royer, Loughlin, Nev.; a sister, Dona Scott, Lutz; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

Joseph Graham
SOUTH DAYTONA -- Joseph C. Graham, 49, of South Ridgewood Avenue, who was born in Abington, Pa., died June 6 at home.
Mr. Graham was a longtime area resident.
No known immediate relatives survive. New Life Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

Peggy Henry
DELAND -- Peggy J. Henry, 82, of North Amelia Avenue, a resident since 1954, died Monday at Florida Hospital-DeLand.
Born in Festus, Mo., Mrs. Henry, a retired home interior decorator, moved here from Temple, Texas. She was a member of Victory Today Church, Daytona Beach, and was a former volunteer at Florida Hospital-DeLand.
Survivors include a daughter, Cat "Tina" Saxon, DeLand; a brother, Norman Vessell, Festus; two sisters, LaWanda Chapman, DeLand, and Ilene, Festus; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Allen-Summerhill, DeLand, is in charge.

Lucille Lebel
DELTONA -- Lucille V. Lebel, 80, of Wellington Drive, a 20-year resident, died Sunday at home.
Mrs. Lebel, a homemaker, was born in Methuen, Mass. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, cross-stitch and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Roger; three sons, Paul, Deltona, Bruce, Woodbury Heights, N.J., and Roger, Bristol, Pa.; five daughters, Linda Ehrat, Lake Helen, Rosemarie Dowdell, Alfred, Maine, Lucille Bragg, East Machias, Maine, Jeannine Fenwell, Orlando, and Anita Yearout, St. Regis, Mont.; 29 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

George Mostert
DAYTONA BEACH -- George Alfred Mostert, 68, of Center Avenue, a former employee for BellSouth in Titusville, died Saturday at Wuesthoff Medical Center, Rockledge.
Mr. Mostert, who attended the University of Florida, was a native of Daytona Beach. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Titusville. He enjoyed fishing, shrimping and traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Arlene; a son, Scott, Melbourne; a brother, Harry, Daytona Beach; five sisters, Carol Titus and Margaret Mostert, both of Daytona Beach, Shirley Lambright, Avon Park, Ruth Mostert, Frewsburg, N.Y., and Marjorie White, Pittsburg, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, East Volusia Unit, 146 Orange Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Wiley-Baxter Funeral Home, Rockledge, is in charge.

Marie Schiffner
DEBARY -- Marie Catherine Schiffner, 95, of Dogwood Trail, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., died Tuesday at Florida Hospital-DeLand.
Mrs. Schiffner, a homemaker, came here in 1972 from Orchard Park, N.Y. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed photography, gardening and traveling.
Survivors include a son, Arthur, Orchard Park; a daughter, Lois Schiffner, DeBary; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 530218, DeBary, FL 32753. Deltona Memorial, Orange City, is in charge.

Joseph Skon
PALM COAST -- Joseph S. Skon, 66, of Patric Drive, a resident since 1981, died Tuesday at Grand Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Skon, a retired chef, was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved here from Garfield, N.J. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Josephine; two sons, Joseph, Maryland, and Kevin, St. Petersburg; a brother, Richard, and a sister, Ruth Snyder, both of Bricktown, N.J.; and a grandson. Memorial donations may be made to Florida Hospital Memorial HospiceCare, 785 W. Granada Blvd. Suite 5, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

Joseph Stafford
DELAND -- Joseph Edward Stafford, 77, of North Amelia Avenue, a retired truck driver for the Teamsters, died Thursday at home.
Mr. Stafford, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in East Liverpool, Ohio. He moved to this area in March from Fort Myers. He also was a former truck driver for the Ringling Brothers circus. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne, Fort Myers; two sons, Joseph Jr. and Anthony, both of Fort Myers; two daughters, Joann Flaherty, DeLand, and Cheryl Clark, Winter Park; two brothers, Fred and Jim Moracco, both of Salem, Ohio; a sister, Josephine French, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Lankford, DeLand, is in charge.

Nell Todd
DELTONA -- Nell Todd, 75, of Panama Court, a member of Deltona Alliance Church, died Sunday at DeBary Manor.
Mrs. Todd, a retired bookkeeper in the banking industry, was born in Fayette, Ala. She came to this area 20 years ago from Key West. She enjoyed reading, swimming and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include a son, James, and a daughter, Susan Todd, both of Deltona; and two grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

Samuel Walls
ELIZABETHTOWN, N.Y. -- Samuel Walls, 78, of Elizabethtown, a former longtime DeLand resident, died Sunday at the Horace Nye Home.
Born in McGraw, N.Y., Mr. Walls retired from the logging industry in Elizabethtown.
No known immediate relatives survive. W.M. Marvins Sons Inc., Elizabethtown, is in charge.

Juliana Caldwell
DAYTONA BEACH -- Juliana Caldwell, 90, South Nova Road, a resident since 1980, died Thursday at Horizon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Caldwell was born in Wheaton, Ill, and moved here from Buena Vista, Colo.
No known immediate relatives survive. Haigh-Black, Daytona Beach, is in charge.

Beulah Costa
DELTONA -- Beulah F. "Bea" Costa, 71, of Dixie Belle Avenue, a native of Morehead, Ky., died Saturday at Cunningham Elderly Care Assisted Living Facility.
Mrs. Costa, a homemaker, moved here in 1975 from Aberdeen, Md. She enjoyed bowling, watching television and old movies.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Carmen "Joe"; a brother, Wayne Caudill, Selma, Ind.; and a sister, Olive DeHart, Deltona. Deltona Memorial, Orange City, is in charge.

Emma Demps
DELAND -- Emma Demps, 71, of East New Street, who retired as a cook for Carol's Care Center, died Saturday at Daytona Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Demps was born in Otter Creek, Fla. She was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary Gooden, and two daughters, Patricia Alexander and Jannie Demps, all of DeLand; a brother, Roosevelt Demps, Miami; two sisters, Janie McKenzie and Henrietta Demps, both of DeLand, and Patti Jo Butler, Spain; and four grandchildren. Mack is in charge.

Marguerite Henderson
BEAVER CREEK, Ohio -- Marguerite Henderson, 90, of Beaver Creek, a former resident of Deltona, died Friday at home.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Attleboro, Mass. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph, Beaver Creek, and John, Robinson, Ill.; a brother, Russell Cooper, Daytona Beach; and two grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

Joseph Patterson
DELAND -- Joseph F. Patterson, 58, of San Souci Avenue, a telemarketer for Evergreen Marketing, died Sunday at Oceanview Nursing Home, New Smyrna Beach.
Mr. Patterson, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, moved to this area in 1991 from his birthplace, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Survivors include a daughter, Veronica Patterson, Edgewater; and his ex-wife, Irene Patterson, Edgewater, who provided for his care. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia - Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. New life Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

Merle Reese
ORMOND BEACH -- Merle M. Reese, 79, of North Center Street, a resident since 1982, died Sunday at Coquina Center.
Born in Watertown, N.Y., Mr. Reese, who retired as a factory worker for a steel manufacturing company, moved here from New York.
Survivors include Jeanette Thibault, Port Orange, who provided for his care. Shannon Funeral Home, Port Orange, is in charge.
