DELTONA -- Bao Chun Jiang, 84, of Forest Edge Drive, a native of China, died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Fish Memorial, Orange City.
Mr. Jiang, a high school teacher in China, moved here in 1993 from Shanghai. He enjoyed reading and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Ning Jiang, Deltona; and two grandchildren. Allen-Summerhill, Orange City, is in charge.

Libby LeVeille
MAY 1, 1907 -- NOV. 29, 2003
DAYTONA BEACH -- Libby Maye Dykes LeVeille, 96, of South Peninsula Drive, a native of Adairsville, Ga., died Saturday at Indigo Manor.
Mrs. LeVeille, a homemaker, was a member of Community Methodist Church, Love Group and Palmetto Club. She attended Wesleyan College, Macon, Ga. She enjoyed poetry, music, reading, the arts, playing bridge, traveling, animals and flowers.
Survivors include a son, Rock; and a daughter, Fayn LeVeille. Baggett & Summers is in charge.

Justina Millan
MAY 30, 1923 -- NOV. 22, 2003
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Justina Millan, 80, of Shorewood Lane, who retired from the U.S. State Department Agency for International Development, died Nov. 22 at Ocean View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Millan was born in California, Pa., and moved here in 1975 from Arlington, Va. She was a member of Hidden Pines. She enjoyed swimming.
Survivors include two nieces, Marlene McCain and Brenda Selelyo, who provided for her care. National Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.

Thelma Miller
AUG. 24, 1915 -- NOV. 27, 2003
DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. -- Thelma M. Miller, 88, of Davidsonville, a Daytona Beach resident from 1977 to 1997, died Thursday at home.
Mrs. Miller, a homemaker, was born in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Trendic, Davidsonville, and Dorothy Mark, Fort Collins, Colo.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 8424 Veterans Hwy., Millersville, MD 21108. Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, Odenton, Md., is in charge.

Niels Nielsen
NOV. 13, 1915 -- NOV. 25, 2003
PALM COAST -- Niels Lester Nielsen, 88, of Cooper Lane, a supervisor for Babcock and Wilcox, died Nov. 25 at home.
Mr. Nielsen, a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War, was born in Perth Amboy, N.J. He moved to this area in 1975 from Toms River, N.J. Mr. Nielsen was a member of St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 28, Bayonne, N.J. He was a past mayor in Manchester, N.J., and was also active in the Presbyterian church in Lake Hurst, N.J. Mr. Nielsen enjoyed spending every summer in Highlands, N.C.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Etta; a son, James, Toms River; a daughter, Janet Sommeling, Sewell, N.J.; a brother, Corwin, Tucson, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. Palm Coast Funeral Home is in charge.

Margaret Nivin-MacLennan
AUG. 29, 1920 -- NOV. 23, 2003
ORMOND BEACH -- Margaret Nivin-MacLennan, 83, of Sunningdale Lane, a resident since 2002, died Nov. 23 at home.
Ms. Nivin-MacLennan, a secretary, was born in Lyman, Wyo., and moved here from North Carolina. A member of Prestwick, Lake Wales and Glen Cannon country clubs, she enjoyed playing bridge and golf.
Survivors include a son, William Harris; two daughters, Alice Rumana and Katherine Cormier; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. MAY 31, 1913 -- NOV. 30, 2003
PORT ORANGE -- Katherine T. Poitras, 90, of Victoria Gardens Boulevard, a resident since 1974, died Sunday at Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Poitras, a homemaker, moved here from her native Lowell, Mass. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and Sociable Seniors.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, J. Arthur; a son, J. Arthur Jr., Lowell; two daughters, Melanie Buccola, Port Orange, and Denise Hyatt, Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Clarence Pratt
NOV. 29, 1917 -- NOV. 28, 2003
LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -- Clarence L. Pratt, 85, of Lyndonville, a former Port Orange winter resident from 1980 to 1999, died Sunday at home.
Mr. Pratt was born in Dexter, Maine, and moved to Winslow, Maine, in 1980, after retiring as a teacher in East Corith, Maine. He graduated from the University of Maine in 1940. Mr. Pratt was a member of Lynde Lodge 174 F&AM and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Khalsa, Kansas City, and Donna Edwards, Lyndonville; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Caledonia Home Health Care Agency, P.O. Box 383, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. Pearsons Funeral Service, Lyndonville, is in charge.

PORT ORANGE -- Eleanor Louise Russell, 82, of Oak in the Wood, who retired as an underwriter for Zurich Insurance Co., Philadelphia, died Saturday at Regency House Skilled Nursing Facility, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Russell came here in 1986 from her birthplace, Philadelphia. She also worked for eight years with Ohio Insurance Co. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Jane Butler, Ormond Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 555 W. HOLLY HILL -- Betty J. Sheldon, 74, of Walker Street, a resident since 1999, died Saturday at Hospice Care Center, Port Orange.
Mrs. Sheldon, a homemaker, was born in Hammond, Ind., and moved here from Plainfield, Ill. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Aurora, Ill.

DELAND -- George William "Bill" Smith, 72, of North Amelia Avenue, a retired painting contractor, died Monday at Oakwood Garden of DeLand.
Mr. Smith, a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, moved here in 1990 from birthplace, Augusta, Ga. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Roberta; two stepsons, Donald Goddard, Orange City, and Larry Goddard, Norfolk, Va.; a stepdaughter, Kathy Holmes, South Carolina; three sisters, Arury Allen, Augusta, Neva Pulliam, Chesapeake, Va., and Gennette Shively, Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Thomas Tomko
DEC. 9, 1954 -- NOV. 26, 2003
PALM COAST -- Thomas A. Tomko, 48, of Boulder Rock Drive, a teacher in Putnam County, died Wednesday at Florida Hospital-Flagler.
Born in Braddock, Pa., Mr. Tomko moved here in 1988 from Irwin, Pa. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was a youth baseball, soccer and basketball coach.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Diane; a son, Christopher, Palm Coast; and two brothers, Robert, Maryland, and David, North Huntington, Pa. Shannon, Port Orange, is in charge.

Joan Townley
MAY 30, 1934 -- NOV. 27, 2003
DEBARY -- Joan Ruth Townley, 69, of DeBary Drive, an accounting clerk for 25 years with United Parcel Service, died Thursday at home.
Born in Lockport, N.Y., Mrs. Townley came here in 1990 from Mableton, Ga. She was a past officer of the Disabled American Veterans. She enjoyed bingo, computers, arts and crafts and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas, Winter Springs, and David, Winter Park; a daughter, Cathy Townley-Kornfeld, Mableton; her mother, Helen Warwick, Winter Park; a brother, Robert Warwick, Houston; a sister, Marian Turgeon, Silverdale, Wash.; and three grandchildren. Norman Wolfrom
JUNE 22, 1913 -- NOV. 30, 2003
ORANGE CITY -- Norman C. Wolfrom, 90, of Inverness Lane, a resident since 1982, died Sunday Florida Hospital-Fish Memorial.
Mr. Wolfrom, a shift manager at Penelec Power Plant for 39 years, moved here from his native Erie, Pa. He was a former fire chief and game warden in Kearsarge, Pa. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners and helped build Our Saviors Church in Kearsarge. He enjoyed calling bingo at Country Village Community.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Evelyn; a son, Norman, Lock Haven, Pa.; two daughters, Evelyn Senger and Norma Henderson, both of Erie; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Erie Shriner's Hospital, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505. Lankford, DeLand, is in charge.
