SEPT. 30, 1929 -- MAY 26, 2004

DELTONA -- Joyce Elaine Lanoue, 74, of Pinder Street, a retired real estate agent, died May 26 at Florida Hospital-Orlando.

Mrs. Lanoue was born in Pampa, Texas, and moved here in 1984 from Monticello, N.Y. She enjoyed computers.

Survivors include three sisters, Carol Davy, Lake Mary, Terry Tyler, Amarillo, Texas, and Kimberly Lineman, Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Marilyn Bertone, Esopus, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Alavon Direct Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.

Dennis Ludwig

AUG. 14, 1946 -- MAY 31, 2004

SOUTH DAYTONA -- Dennis Arthur Ludwig, 57, of Joy Lane, a manager for Krispy Kreme, died Monday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.

Mr. Ludwig, an Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, was born in Lancaster, Pa., and moved here in 2001 from Hampton, Va.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jackie; two sons, Charles, Nashville, Tenn., and Tim, Orlando; and three grandchildren. Alavon Direct Cremation is in charge.

Russell Lundeen

OCT. 28, 1932 - MAY 29, 2004

PALM COAST -- Russell Lamont Lundeen, 71, of Cimmaron Drive, a civil service communications manager, died Saturday at Florida Hospital-Flagler, Palm Coast.

Mr. Lundeen, who retired from the Army, was born in Grant Township, Iowa. He moved to this area in 1996 from Virginia. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Military Officers of Palm Coast, Veteran of Foreign Wars and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Salud, and a brother, Roger, Minneapolis. Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Inc., 1417 N. Semoran Blvd. Suite 205, Orlando, FL 32807. Coastal Cremation is in charge.

Donald Manser

MAY 10, 1925 -- MAY 30, 2004

PORT ORANGE -- Donald Manser, 79, who retired as a tool and die maker, died Sunday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.

Mr. Manser, an Air Force veteran, moved here in 1983 from his birthplace, England.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Dorothy; two sons, Darren, Port Orange, and Justin, England; and a granddaughter. Hannah Cremation, Holly Hill, is in charge.

Edward Mocklow

FEB. 20, 1931 -- JUNE 1, 2004

DAYTONA BEACH -- Edward Mocklow, 73, of Gull Drive, who formerly owned and operated Golden Painting Services, died Tuesday at Halifax Medical Center.

Mr. Mocklow moved to this area in 1975 from his native Bermuda. He enjoyed gardening, making birdhouses and coin collecting.

Survivors include his wife Cynthia; two sons, Colin, Southbridge, Mass., and Graham, Bermuda; a daughter, Karen Lambert, Lavonia, Ga.; three brothers, Joseph, New York, Leonard, Florida, and Stanley, Bermuda; and a grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Gift of Remembrance Headquarters, 1101 N. Lake Destiny Road, Suite 415, Maitland, FL 32751-7105. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge.

William Nettles

APRIL 10, 1959 -- MAY 29, 2004

COCOA -- William R. Nettles, 45, of Cocoa, a native of DeLand, died Saturday at home.

Mr. Nettles was a lieutenant for the Florida Department of Corrections. He was active in his youth with the Orange City Little League and volunteered as a Spring Lakes fireman. An avid fisherman, Mr. Nettles also enjoyed the beach and travel.

Survivors include his wife of four years, Judith; a son, Jonathan Toy, Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Stephanie Nettles, Orlando, and Krystina Nettles, Cocoa; his parents, Beryl and Martha Nettles, Starke; and two brothers, Walter, Daytona Beach, and Allan, Starke. Wylie-Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home, Merritt Island, is in charge.

Lino Arduino

DEC. 18, 1914 -- FEB. 13, 2005

DELTONA -- Lino Joseph Arduino, 90, of Malaga Avenue, a retired private practice urologist, died Sunday at home.

Dr. Arduino, an Army veteran of World War II, was born in Centerville, Iowa. He was a member of the Florida and American Medical associations, the American College of Surgeons, the American Urologist Association and the Volusia Medical Society.

Survivors include a son, Mike Ridgway, Middlesex, N.C.; and two daughters, Pamela Arduino, Iron Station, N.C., and Toni Ruggiero, Marietta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.

Cornelia Banks

OCT. 3, 1908 -- FEB. 10, 2005

DAYTONA BEACH -- Cornelia Banks, 96, of Madison Avenue, a former minister and domestic worker, died Thursday at Halifax Medical Center.

Mrs. Banks was born in Thomasville, Ga., and moved here more than 50 years ago from Sanford. She was a member of Triumph and Kingdom Church of God In Christ and a co-founder of the Good Samaritan Home, both of Sanford.

Survivors include two sisters, Daisy Brewer, Daytona Beach, and Mae Thomas, Miami; and two nieces, Angela Ransom-Wallace, DeLand, and Cassandra Morris, Orlando, both of whom provided for her care. Sunrise Funeral Home, Sanford, is in charge.

Floyd Bryant

JUNE 2, 1921 -- FEB. 12, 2005

OSTEEN -- Floyd Edward "Ed" Bryant, 83, of Flamingo Lane, a resident since 1980, died Saturday at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach.

Mr. Bryant, an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, was born in High Point, N.C., and moved to this area from Tampa. He was employed in the retail sales industry. Mr. Bryant was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid bowler and gardener.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Doris; two sons, Ed Jr., St. Petersburg, and Mike Phillips, Oldsmar; four daughters, Nancy Spires, Osteen, Cindy Phillips, Tampa, Pat Taylor, Kathleen, and Shannon Patinkin, Roswell, Ga.; a brother, Delbert Bryant, Dallas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Alavon Direct Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.

Philip Caroselli

JULY 12, 1924 -- FEB. 15, 2005

DELTONA -- Philip M. Caroselli, 80, of Baton Drive, who retired as a lieutenant for the East Orange Police Department in New Jersey after 25 years of service, died Tuesday at home.

Mr. Caroselli moved to this area in 1975 from his native East Orange, N.J. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he received a Victory, Meritorious Unit Award, Bronze Arrowhead and the Good Conduct medals. He also earned the Asiatic Pacific Theater and the Philippine Liberation ribbons. Mr. Caroselli enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margherite "Helen"; two sons, Philip, Deltona, and Frank, DeBary; two daughters, Laura Gregory and Margi Pope, both of Naples; a sister, Margaret Armento, DeBary; and six grandchildren. Deltona Memorial, Orange City, is in charge.

Grazia DiCecco

JAN. 28, 1909 -- FEB. 13, 2005

PORT ORANGE -- Grazia DiCecco, 96, of Long Grove Lane, a native of Italy, died at the home of her granddaughter in South Daytona.

Mrs. DiCecco, a homemaker, moved here in 1990 from Fort Lauderdale. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Mrs. DiCecco enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Philip, Erin, Tenn., and Michael, Long Island, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren including Grace Guarneri, South Daytona, who provided for her care; and 22 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia - Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Volusia Memorial, Port Orange, is in charge.

William Eggleston

FEB. 27, 1942 -- FEB. 13, 2005

ORMOND BEACH -- William Raymond Eggleston, 62, of Millstream Lane, a wine distributor and owner of AshCO Boutique, died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial.

Mr. Eggleston, who retired as an Air Force major, was born in St. Joseph, Mich., and moved to this area in 1979. He was a graduate from Indiana University and the University of Puerto Rico. He also owned and operated Atlantic Health for many years. Mr. Eggleston enjoyed traveling and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; a son, Brett, Plano, Texas; two daughters, Beth, Ormond Beach, and Ashley, Chicago; his parents, Mark and Marge Eggleston, and a brother Dennis, all of Clearwater; and four grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Lohman-Ormond is in charge.

Mary Feeley

APRIL 11, 1920 -- FEB. 10, 2005

DELAND -- Mary M. Feeley, 84, of East Howry Avenue, who retired as a secretary at the Pentagon, died Thursday at home.

Mrs. Feeley, a Navy veteran serving with the Women Accepted For Emergency Service (WAVES) during World War II, moved here in 1995 from Providence, R.I., her birthplace.

Survivors include a nephew, Charles Feeley, Rhode Island, who provided for her care. Lankford, DeLand, is in charge.
