JANET APPELL, 94, of New Port Richey died Sunday at Forest Glen Lodge in New Port Richey. A native of New York City, she moved to this area in 1996 from Norwalk, Conn. She was Presbyterian. She is survived by a son, Arnold of Grantham, N.H.; a daughter, Susan K. Garside of New Port Richey; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Thomas B. MARGARET DERTING, 70, of New Port Richey died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn. A native of Glenfield, Pa., she moved to the area in 1978 from Pittsburgh. She was a waitress at Gonnellos Restaurant in Lower Burrell, Pa., member of the Ladies of the Moose in Verona, Pa., and Catholic. She is survived by two sons, George Orbin and Carl Orbin, both of Pittsburgh; a brother, James Calabrese of Sharpsburg, Pa.; a sister, Mary Scotti of Crafton, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
