Hannah G. Ellis, 85, of Ft. Myers passed away Monday, March 21, 2005. She is survived by loving daughters Gerri Ellis, Barbara Andrasik, Claire Greenberg and Susan Marino, sister Louise Klitzner, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Clubhouse at Lakelawn, next to Polos on Brantley Rd.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to your favorite charity. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Eilene Grennan, 82, of Cape Coral, FL died March 16, 2005 in Cape Coral. Mrs. Grennan was born January 18, 1923, in Mackinaw City, MI. She was the widow of James Perry Grennan. Eilene was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star Amaranth, Lee Court #9, the Ladies of the Shrine, the White Shrine and the "Jesterettes". She had resided here for the past 24 years coming from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen G. Elliott of Sterling Heights, MI; her grandsons, Scott Gregg Elliott of Houghton, MI and Eric James Elliott of Sterling Heights, MI; 2 brothers Barton Wolford of Mackinaw City, MI and Jack Wolford of Jackson, MI; a sister, Roz Hager of California.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home conducted by the Ladies of the Amaranth, Lee Court #9. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, in care of Ruth Lyon, 1902 S.E. 15th Ter., Cape Coral, FL 33990 or the Lighthouse Restoration, in care of Mackinac Associates, Box 873, Mackinaw City, MI 49701.

Brian Heinisch, age 55, of Venice Island, FL and Rochester, MN died Feb. 1, 2005 in Rochester.
Memorial services will be 2 PM on April 4, 2005 at Unity Church of Vero Beach. Memorials to Unity Church.

James M. "Jim" Lett, of Ft. Myers, died March 20, 2005 he was born in Watford, Ontario, Canada, he graduated fro University of Western Ontario receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, veteran of Royal Canadian Air Force serving in WWII, he was a benefits administrator for Prudential Insurance Co., he was a summer resident of Indianapolis, IN and a winter resident of Ft. Myers since 1986. Jim was a member of Masonic Lodge #238, Watford, Ontario and a member of University of Western Ontario Alumni Association.
Mr. Lett is survived by his loving wife Helen, his daughter Lynda Harkness of Indianapolis, IN, his grandson James Lich of St. Petersburg, FL, his granddaughter Jennifer Lich of Palm Harbor, FL, his great-grandchildren, Lauren A. Lich, Maximino Lich both of St. Petersburg.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted in the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday at 1 PM, a Masonic Service will follow, the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday (TODAY) from 5-7 PM. Internment will be in Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Eva O. Shellhouse, age 83, of Bonita Springs, Florida, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at North Collier Hospital in Naples. She was born November 12, 1919 in Amanda, Ohio to Granville and Nora Hobbs Stebelton. She had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1958. She was a dispatcher for the Lee County Sheriff's Office from 1969 to 1981 and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Bonita Springs.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon Shellhouse and Roger Shellhouse both of Bonita Springs, three daughters, Jean Johnson, Barbara Lynn Havard and Cynthia Ann Englund all of Bonita Springs, one brother, Max Stebelton of Amanda, Ohio, two sisters, Ruby Hansley of Lancaster, Ohio and Marilyn Queen of Immakolee, FL, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester "Shorty" Shellhouse in 1999, a son Dennis G. Shellhouse in 1995 and a granddaughter, Ginger Gallander in 1997.
A memorial service to celebrate Eva's life will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Bonita Springs at 7:00 PM with Reverend Ernie Harvard officiating. Douglas M. Spathelf, 58, of Ft. Myers, formerly of Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away March 21 following a lengthly illness.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with distinction in the U.S. Navy as Communications Yeoman.
He was a graduate of Central Michigan University where he received both a BS & MA degree.
He served as a Director of Grants for Central Michigan University until his retirement in1995 and then moved to Southwest Florida.
He is survived by his siblings; David, Rick and Martha and his best friend and companion, Barbara Thomas along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Mercedes Spathelf.

John M. Cummings, age 83, of Bonita Springs, FL., died Sunday, April 10, 2005, at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers, FL. He Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft Co. of Connecticut.
He was the son of the late George Cummings and the late Katherine
(Gauthier) Cummings, Husband to the late Mary Cummings, brother to the late William Cummings. He is survived by his One Son, John M. (Diane) Cummings of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Branford, CT; Granddaughter, Lisa (Wrzosek) Mayer and her husband John of Morris Cove, CT; Life Companion, Mary Dalton of Bonita Springs, FL; Brother, Nicholas (Loretta) Sambides of Ansonia, CT; 3 Nieces and 1 Nephew.
A celebration of John's life will be held at the convenience of the family in Connecticut at a later date.

Charles A. Denaro, 80, of N. Ft. Myers passed away Monday, April 11, 2005. He was born Sept. 25, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Anthony & Philippa Sala Denaro.
Mr. Denaro is survived by his wife Dorothy Denaro, sons, William and James Elder and sister Vita Simorella and Constance Manfredi.
Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday April 14th at 10:00 AM at Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

John W. Keenan, Sr., longtime resident of Ft. Myers passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005. John was born in Brooklyn, NY May 21, 1915.
Prior to moving to Ft. Myers, John was the Assistant Secretary Treasurer of Madison Square Garden Corporation. In 1970, John and his family moved to Ft. Myers were he opened a small bookkeeping service. In his spare time, John loved to swim, walk, and play softball, playing with the over 50, 60 and 70 leagues.
John is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Doris and his granddaughter, Debra Schellhammer. He is survived by his children; Barbara (Richard) Schellhammer, Bill (Julie) Keenan, Drew Keenan, Nancy (Michael) McGalliard. In addition, he is survived by 6 grandchildren; Rich and Tracy Schellhammer, Drew Keenan, Deirdre (Brad) Lewis, Michelle (Tony) LaBombard, Leslie Keenan and 2 great-grandchildren; Ava and Kendall Lewis. John also leaves behind his brothers, Frank and Tom, and sisters Mary Howell and Patricia McGuire as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home, 12777 State Rd. 82. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Lee Memorial Park

Matthew J. Quinn, 87, of N. Ft. Myers, died Friday at Tandem Health Care.
Mr. Quinn was a veteran of WWII, He served in the 96th Division in Okinawa and Philippines and was awarded several medals, including a Philippine Liberation Medal with a Bronze Service Star, and a Bronze Service Arrowhead. Mr. Quinn was a long time resident of Ft. Myers.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne; two sons, Ralph P. of Tallahassee, FL and David M. of Waterloo, NY; two grandchildren Margaret and Alasdair.
