He was a technical writer, member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Richard of Lithia; a daughter, Elizabeth Shriver of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Hopewell Funeral Home, Plant City.

HENRY H. MAYERS, 77, of Sun City Center died Saturday at Brandon Regional Hospital. A native of Regina, Canada, he moved to the Tampa area in 1981 from Gibraltar, Mich. He was a hydraulic technician, high school teacher and a Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Geana; two sons, Stephen of Sarasota and Michael of Wausau, Wis.; two daughters, Diana W. Laura of Riverview and Geana M. LaPointe of Yorktown, Va.; a brother, Harold of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Mable Cade of Knoxville, Iowa; and eight grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Tampa.
