Margaret Ann Sams, 87, of LaGrange, IN passed away April 9, 2005.
She is survived by 3 sons, Douglas Sams of Ft. Myers, and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Theron L. Sams.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 2:30 PM at 1st United Methodist Church, LaGrange, IN with Rev. Dexter Garman officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 12, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Frurip-May Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN. Memorial donations may be made to 1st United Methodist Church, LaGrange, IN.

Mary Mercedes Shea, 93, of Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband William D. Shea in 1995; son, Patrick John Shea; son-in-law Casimer Radkowski, MD and her granddaughter, Diane Radkowski Staniunas, MD.
She is survived by her two daughters Judith Radkowski of Westlake, OH and Virginia and husband Gerald Jevack; grandchildren, Denise, Grech, Stephanie Dreling, Julianne Aguilar, Eric Shea, Melissa Jevack, Michael Jevack and Matthew Jevack, along with 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13 from 11:00 -12:30 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, 1910 Del Prado Blvd. S., Cape Coral. A prayer service will be held at 12:30. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, April 25th at 11:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church in Geneva, OH. Burial will be Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery in Unionville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association.

Shirl Sparks, 82, died peacefully at Lee Memorial Hospital Sunday night. Born Sept. 1, 1922, she moved to Ft. Myers, FL in 1973 from Watertown, MA daughter of the late Charles and Nina Cranston. She is now joined with her husband of 50 years, Allen Sparks who passed away Dec. 2, 1994. Her greatest achievement and love in her life was her family where she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that will be eternally loved and missed.
She is survived by her daughter Joni Sparks, son Bruce Sparks and daughter Janna Carinci (Daniel), loving daughter-in-law Tracy Sparks, her most cherished loves, her grandchildren Kristi Million & Shannon Sparks.
By Shirl's request memorial services will be private.

Lorraine E. "Scottie" Urban, 79, of Alva passed away at home April 9, 2005 with her loving family at her side. Formerly of Moline, Illinois, she had resided in Florida since. 1972.
An avid bridge player and animal lover, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ted, son; Jeff (Laurie) Urban, 2 grandsons; Joshua and Shane, many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home, 12777 State Rd. 82. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.

Basil E. Nicholas, 84, Cape Coral passed away on Thursday September 1, 2005. Mr. Nicholas served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. Formerly of Michigan, he had resided here for the past eleven years. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Bettie; six children, Diane (Monte) Jahnke, Douglas (Shelly) Nicholas, Dennis (Carol) Nicholas, Darlene (Robert) Regula, David (Karen) Nicholas and Dawn (Ronald) Shepherd; two brothers, Rex Nicholas and Ray (Maxine) Nicholas; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday September 4, 2005 at 5 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, corner of S.E. 21st Place and Hancock Bridge Parkway. The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to time of services. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 13 S.E. 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990.

Mitchell E. Adelson, 48, of Fort Myers, died unexpectedly September 6, 2005. He was a retired owner of an automobile dealership in Massachusetts, member and dedicated sponsor of the AA family which he loved and an avid fisherman.
Mitchell is survived by his wife Lynn, sons; Jeremy Adelson, Jared Perry, Timothy Westberry, father; Sheldon Adelson, brother; Gary Adelson, sister; Shelley Adelson and his beloved dog Sherman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Adelson.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2005 followed by a funeral service at the Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Red Cross, 2516 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Interment will be in Massachusetts. Kiser Funeral Home

Robert A. Cattano, (Bob) 71, of Lehigh Acres since 1987 passed away Friday, September 9, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Lee) Cattano of Lehigh Acres, his daughter, Susan (Michael) Dumphy, and grandchildren, Melissa, Kelly and Shawn Dumphy, all of Waterloo, NY.
Bob was a longtime employee of AMR Services, and an avid golfer. Having lost his sight in recent years his best pal Carmen, his faithful guide dog, was always at his side.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 15, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 215 Richmond Ave., Lehigh Acres, FL with Rev. Gilbert Schillinger officiating.

June C. Kaiser of N. Fort Myers died September 10, 2005. A resident since 1979, she was a member of the Florida Board of Realtors.
June is survived by 3 children; T.J. Bryant, Jerry Bryant, Patti (Michael) Norman, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Kaiser.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 State Rd. 82. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home.

John J. Tice, III, 81 of Fort Myers died Thursday, September 8, 2005. Born in Newport, RI, he traveled around the world as part of his military career, and moved to Fort Myers in 1978.
A veteran of WWII and the Vietname War, his military decorations include the Legion of Merit with Combat V, the Bronze Star with Combat V, the Navy Commendations Medal, and numerous foreign decorations.
After his retirement from the military, he pursued a second career with A.G. Edwards in Fort Myers and retired as Vice President.
Capt. Tice received his Bachelor of Naval Science from University of South Carolina and a Master Degree from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey. He also was a graduate of the Naval Chinese Language School in Washington , D.C.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Mary JoAnn Tice of Fort Myers, son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John and Dr. Elizabeth Tice of Jackson, MS, daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Janice Tice and Don Collins of Tallahassee, and their three children, son and daughter-in-law Christopher J. and Veronique Tice, of San Jose, CA and grandson Christopher J. Tice, II and granddaughters Erica and Vanessa all of San Jose, CA.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:00 PM at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or the Navy Relief Fund.
