He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Yale Industrial Truck Sales and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Morris; two daughters, Pamela Hurst of Thomasville, Ga., and Cecelia Bodiford of Coolidge, Ga.; a stepson, Robert Der III of Columbus, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Yauilla of Brandon; his mother, Rebecca Parker of Coolidge, Ga.; and five grandchildren. CLIFTON L. PLATT, 72, of Plant City died Saturday at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a crane operator for Cornett Mines. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Robert L. of Dade City, Dan L. of Valrico and Keith C. of Dover; a daughter, Edena C. of Florida; a brother, Marshall N. of Brandon; two sisters, Marlene Noles of Inverness and Helen Cromley of Light House Point; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She is survived by two sons, Terry Randall of Austin, Texas , and Ronald Norman of Tampa; a daughter, Barbara Keithly Perez of Tampa; a sister, Joyce Winslett of Houston; and four grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Rita; two sons, David of Zephyrhills and Steven of Chateaugay, N.Y.; a daughter, Janel Bullock of Zephyrhills; three sisters, June Bashaw of Chasm Falls, N.Y., Joyce Lawson of Mountain View, N.Y., and Sharon Ledger of North Bangor, N.Y; a brother, James of Malone; 11 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
