JOHN ROBERT POSEY, 66, of Winter Haven died Tuesday at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. A native of Lake Alfred, he was a lifelong Polk County resident who worked as plant manager for W.G. Roe & Sons Inc. He is survived by his wife, Jean S.; two sons, John Jr. of Valrico and Richard A. of Atlanta, Kan.; four daughters, Deborah J. Donley of Winter Haven, Susan R. Bass of Webster, Cynthia L. of Bothell, Wash., and Patricia A. Howard of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Jo-Hilda Tiner and Florence E. Pope, both of Winter Haven; and 15 grandchildren. WILLIS RAMEY, 72, of Tampa died Monday at home while under the care of LifePath Hospice. A native of Logan County, W. Va., he moved to the area in 1971 from Michigan. He was a tool and die maker for an automobile company and a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by a son, Roger of Tampa; a daughter, Linda S. Carr of Indiana ; three brothers, Leonard, Frank and Charlie, all of Ohio; two sisters, Georgie Cantrell of Texas and Ada Faye Schultz of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. He was a railroad engineer and member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
