CHAPMAN "GERRY" ROBINSON, 77, of Tampa died Thursday at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. A native of Chicago, he moved to the area in 1967. He was a newspaper compositor, contractor and Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Lois of Apollo Beach; two sons, Thomas of St. Petersburg and Martin of Pinellas Park; two sisters, Joan McKown of San Marcos, Calif., and Marilyn Stenson of Vista, Calif.; and a grandchild. MICHAEL WALTER SCOTT, 75, of Tampa died Monday at home. He moved to this area from his native Jeannette, Pa., 49 years ago. He was a sales representative for Jergens Co., a retired professor at Hillsborough Community College and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Michele, and a sister, Bernice "Brownie" Abel, both of Irwin, Pa. Heath Funeral Chapel, Lakeland.

VanRaalten of Apollo Beach and Marjorie C. Chanco of Lakeland; three stepsons, Michael Rabinette of Sarasota, Scott Rabinette of Washington , N.C., and Moncrief Ballard of Mooresville, N.C.; a brother, Melvin L. of Delaware, Ohio; a sister, Helen C.
