CHARLES L. BOWMAN, 76, of Tampa, formerly of Lakeland, died Monday at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. A native of Hooversville, Pa., he moved to the area a year ago. He was an agriculture teacher, Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and Presbyterian. He is survived by his wife, Grace; two daughters, Suzanne Howard of Fairfax, Va., and Ellen Riddell of Tampa; a brother, Ivan of Hooversville; a sister, Ila Lensie of Osterburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren. ALA L. BRAGG, 67, of Tampa died Monday. A native of Tampa, she returned to the area from Fort Walton Beach in 1965. She was a secretary and member of Bay Ceia Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, David; two daughters, Cheryl Grant of Black Mountain, Ga., and Leslie Seyer of Tampa; two brothers, Marvin Hoob and Noah Hoob Jr., both of Houma, La.; two sisters, Diane Blake of Bakersfield, Calif., and Pat Hoob of Texas ; and two grandchildren. WILLIAM J. CARLIN JR., 46, of Tampa died Sunday. A native of Peekskill, N.Y., he moved to the area from California in 1985. He worked for Raytheon Systems Co., retired from the Marine Corps and was Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Amy; a son, William III of Tampa; his parents, William and Veronica of Peekskill; and two sisters, Loretta Marazino of Verplanck, N.Y., and Romayne of Colorado Springs, Colo. CONWAY CHANEY, 68, of Plant City died Saturday at Brandon Regional Hospital. A lifelong resident, he worked for U.S. Agra Chemical and was a member of Turkey Creek Assembly of God. He was a rancher in Lake Wales, an elder of Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven and member of Winter Haven Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, David of Tampa and Richard of Toledo; a daughter, Marilyn O'Bryan of Winter Haven; and a stepson, Larry T.
