EUGENE L. BABCOCK, 80, of Holiday died Wednesday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. A native of Flint, Mich., he moved to this area in 1984 from Burton, Mich. He was a heating and plumbing technician for Nelson Co. in Flint. He is survived by two sons, William of Grosse Isle, Mich., and Johnnie of Burton; a daughter, Ann Ryan of Grand Blanc, Mich.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Thomas B. ARTHUR JOSEPH BECVAR, 87, of Tarpon Springs, formerly of New Port Richey, died Thursday at Oak View Terrace in New Port Richey. A native of Bohemia, N.Y., he moved to this area in 1980 from Port Jefferson, N.Y. He was a supervisor at Grumman Aeronautics in Calverton, N.Y., an Army veteran of World War II, Catholic and member of the American Legion.
