She is survived by a son, Fred Thomas; three daughters, Barbara Powell, Bernice Allen and Valentine Pearson; two brothers, James Johnson Jr. and Andrew Johnson; a sister, Easter Holden; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
