KIRK BURNELL "MUTT" CALDWELL, 79, of Lake Wales died Monday at Lake Wales Medical Centers. An Ocala native, he moved to Lake Wales from Winter Haven in 1926. He retired from the Navy as a chief petty officer and was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Wales. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee; four sons, Terry of Lake Alfred, John Chauncey of Lutz, Donald Chauncey of Miami and Charles Atavar of Bordentown, N.J.; three daughters, Linda Britts of Spring Hill, Patricia Sweeney of Lake Wales and Barbara Monesson of Bellvue, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. VINCENT A. CONGIUSTI, 50, of Valrico died Saturday at U.S. Medical Center in Springfield, Mo. A native of New York, he moved to the area in 1987. He was a plumber and Catholic. He is survived by a son, Vincent of Valrico; four daughters, Tammy and Jodi, both of New York, and Jennifer and Gina, both of Valrico; his parents, Nicholas and Mary of Brandon; two brothers, Joseph of New York and Michael of Hawley, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. EDWARD L.F. ENGELHARD, 91, of Tampa died Monday at University Community Hospital. A native of Kearny, N.J., he moved to the area from Englewood 20 years ago. He was a fuel analyst with U.S. Steel, a Mason, an Elk and a member of Englewood Methodist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Marjorie Moody of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Barbara Bisk of Tampa and Priscilla Wile of Telford, Pa.; a brother, George of Leesburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
