PURSELL, Kathleen, 84, of Tampa, passed away January 26, 2001. She was born in Huntington, W.V. She is survived by three sons, Bryson, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio, Jeff of Virginia Beach, Va., Keith of Tampa; one daughter, Deborah Pelletier of Leesburg, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Spriggs of Tawas City, Mich., Polly Howard of Clarence, N.Y., ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at the St.James United Methodist Church at Tampa Palms at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

REED, I. Edna, 78, of Jacksonville, Fla. died January 20, 2001, Saturday, at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Reed is survived by one daughter, Debra Howard and husband Chas W. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Richard M. Forinash of Ellijay, Ga., Edward J. Forinash of Clarksburg, W.V.; two granddaughters, Amber Howard and Taylor Howard, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reed is predecease d by her husband, David W. who was a retired lieutenant with the West Virginia State Police and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; two brothers, Gordon E. Forinash and Robert L. Forinash; two sisters, Dorothy Adams and Edith Strock. Mrs. Reed was born in Nutter Fort, W.V. and has lived in Jacksonville, Fla. for 13 years coming here from Tampa, Fla. ROMAN-RIVERA, Marilyn, of Lutz, passed away January 26, 2001. She is survived by her parents, Ramon Roman-Rivera and Josefa Roman; two brothers, Concepcion Roman and Hector L. Roman; five sisters, Ana Maria Perez, Margarita Lopez, Gladys Galan, Lucy Freytiz and Sonia Agosto; and 22 nephews and nieces. She was born in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutz Cemetery. Friends and family are requested to meet at Loyless Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.

SAWYER, Gleneus L., 71, of Lutz died January 25, 2001 while under the care of LifePath Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalvin and daughter, Rebecca Gaylor. Survivors include her son, Robert Taylor and wife Linda of Tampa; daughter, Tammy Kennedy and husband Emery of Seffner; brother, James Paugh and wife Birdellen of Margate, Fla.; sister, Lena Milligan of San Diego, Ca.; sis ter-in-law, Josephine Paugh of Okeechobee, Fla.; two grandchildren, Darren R. Gaylor and Allison Kennedy; great-grandchild, Hailey A. Gaylor. A native of Wheeling, W.Va., Mrs. Sawyer came to the Tampa area in 1959 from Miami. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. She was a homemaker, a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a past member of the Catholic Women's Club. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday (today) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Joseph, FL. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. ARNOLD, Mary M., 90, of Sun City Center died Saturday, January 27, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Adam E. of Sun City Center; and two sisters, Ellen and Annie Murphy both of County Clare, Ireland. She was a nursing assistant and member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. BAKER, Edra Carpenter, 88, of Brandon passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; sister, Vera M. Cuthbertson, Lithia; two nieces; and five nephews. She was a native of Keysville, a homemaker, a member of the Woodmen of the World and Southside Baptist Church, Brandon. BARFIELD, John Ansel, 72, of Temple Terrace passed away January 26, 2001 at home with his family. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Teresa; his grandson, Johnathon (his best `Buddy`); his brothers, Jimmie of Folkston, Ga., Ted of Nashville, Tenn.; and several special nieces and nephews. John was born in Randolph County, Ga. and moved to Temple Terrace from Texas with Xerox in 19 72. After retiring from Xerox, John began a new career with Tam-Bay Realty, retiring again in 1998 as vice president and general manager. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. WINOKER, Joseph A., 74, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, January 26, 2001. Survived by his wife, Julia Mittle Winoker; daughter, Diana Lee Winoker; son, David Mittle Winoker and his wife Della Ann Winoker; and two grandchildren. He attended the Citadel and received a masters degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. Joe retired from Cambell Soup Company as a Vice Pre sident after sixteen years of service. Joe worked over fifty years in the citrus industry in the creation of juice drinks. His passion was attending the Buccaneer's games. He was a volunteer for Mayor Dick Greco and the Florida Aquarium. Joe enjoyed the companionship of his two dogs, Herman and Wino. Instead of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or the Florid a Aquarium. The family will have a celebration of the life of Joe at the Tampa Garden Club, 2629 Bayshore Boulevard (813.251.5059), at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2001. Friends are encouraged to attend.

YANCEY, JoAnn, age 64, of Tampa, passed away January 27, 2001 at home after a long illness. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Delgado, Judy McClung and Joetta Woodrum; son, Eddie Justice; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also known by a lot of friends as `Mom` from the Lunch Box Restaurant, Po Folks and Ponderosa. Born May 17, 1936 in White House, Kentucky, sh e was originally from West Virginia, has resided in Tampa, Florida since 1980.
