He is survived by his wife Lorraine, son and daughter- in-law; Matt and Wendy, daughter Melissa Pettys, sisters; Joyce and her husband Jim Riley of Balm and Wanda and her husband Pat Berry of Cross City, and his beloved grandchildren, Courtney and Michael Pettys and Shelby Smith and mother-in law Margaret Mudry. He was a retir ed Supervisor from I M C, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and a member of Alafia Baptist Church, he was active in the church serving as Sexton of the Cemetery and served on the Building Committee. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Alafia Baptist Church (222 Alafia Church Rd.,off Hwy 39, S, North of SR 674 and South SR 672, at the Fire Tower.) Fu neral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Don McLauglin officiating; assisted by Rev. Erle McMichen, Rev. Larry Westman ,Rev. D.S. A native of Pawtucket, RI he lived in the Tampa area since 1955. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. CIFALIA, Danny J., 75, passed away January 19, 2001 at his son's house under the tender care of LifePath Hospice, first in Pasco County and then in Hillsborough County, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Higgins; daughter, Denise Yorko; son, Daniel (Terri) and Rocky; grandchildren, Jessica, Mark Daniel and Carl Christian; sister, Elizabeth Frasca ; niece, Sue Frasca, (Mike Robillard); nephews, Godson, Daniel Frasca (Janet), Joe Frasca (Colleen), Tom Thurnes (Tina), Nick Thurnes (Nancy); five grand-nephews; and two grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Nick and Rocca Cifalia and his sister, Ann Thurnes. Born in West Virginia, at a young age, he and his family moved to Gary, Indiana . In 1979 he moved to Tampa, Florid a. He is an Air Force Veteran World War II, a retiree from US Steele in Gary, Indiana 1976, and later from Luria's of Tampa, Florida. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. followed, by a Catholic service. Burial will be Thursday, January 25, 2001 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. DEAN, Louise G., 76, of Tampa, died January 18, 2001. She is survived by two sons, two daughters, two brothers, two sisters and nine grandchildren. Memorial service January 28th, 1:30 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 40th St.

FENNER, Justin, 13, of Tampa, died January 18, 2001. Survived by father, Craig Scott Fenner of Tampa; mother, Debra L. Fenner and stepfather Vale Pili of Tampa; great-grandmother, Erva M. Jones of Tampa; maternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Jones of Tampa, a large and loving family and many friends and classmates. Justin was born February 4, 1987 and was a native of Tampa. He attended eighth g rade at Buchannan Junior High School where he played on the football team and was recently named captain of the soccer team. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 23, at 10:00 a.m., at the Chapel of Blount Curry and Roel, conducted by Dr. Lynn Sayne, pastor of Suncoast Baptist Church. Pallbearers include Robert Chastain, Buddy Parks, James M. Jones, Douglas Jones, Robert Vandagriff, Sr. and Je ff Roberts. GNEISER, Isabelle M., 88, of Tampa, passed away Monday, January 8, 2001. Survivors include her son, Thomas E. Gneiser of Tampa; Granddaughters, Lisa Smith of Plant City, and Terri Harmon of Valrico; and three great-grandchildren, Jim Smith. Jeannette Smith, and Tommy Harmon. HAND, Linda departed this life on Thursday, January 18th at 11:00 at her residence at the age of 69. She lived in New York City almost 50 years, before moving to Tampa in 1997. She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted son, Jerome T. Hand; five sisters, Delores Douglas, May (Jim) Arlington, Roberta Haggar, Betty Stephens, Clementine (Albert) King. Two brothers, Roosevelt (Nonnie) and Claude Alfred (Liz) Stephens, both of Tampa; brother-in-law, Adolph Stewart and a host of aunts, uncles,and other relatives and friends. Services will be held at the Greater New Hope Apostolic Church, 3012 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, on Tuesday , January 23, at 11:00 in the morning. Bishop James W. Anderson officiating. HUTCHCRAFT, Bruce William, 52, formerly of Seffner, died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at his home in Demorest, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Joanna Temple Hutchcraft of Demorest, Ga.; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Edwards and husband Joe Edwards of Plant City; parents, William A. and Lois J. Hutchcraft of Brandon; brother, William W. `Bill` Hutchcraft and wife Karen Williams Hutchcraft of Demorest, Ga. Survivors also include his brother-in-law, Michael G. Armstrong of Cornelia, Ga.; nephew, Eric Armstrong of Cornelia; and nieces, Elizabeth Armstrong of Cornelia and Jessica and Lindsey Hutchcraft of Demorest, Ga. Mr. Hutchcraft was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon L. Armstrong. Born in Covington, Ky., Mr. Hutchcraft moved to Hillsborough County with his family in 1958. He graduated from Brandon High School in 1966 before continuing his education at Polk Junior College. A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Hutchcraft began a career in television broadcasting following his return from overseas. He was an agriculture and features reporter for channel 13, 44 and 8, appearing on popular shows such as `The Good Morning Show with Ernie Lee`, `Florida Daybreak` and `Florida Getaways.` He campaigned f or a seat in the Florida State Senate in 1978. Mr. Hutchcraft was a former member of the National Farmers Broadcasters Association, a national officer of Future Farmers of America and was a licensed pilot. He was a member of the Cornelia United Methodist Church and Gideons International. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 19, 2001 at the Cornelia United Methodist Church. JAMES, Norma B., 68, of Tampa, died January 18, 2001. She is survived by her son, John David Craig; four daughters, Dawn James, Rebecca Fleckenstein, Linda Jelemensky, Patricia Graybill; and sister, Phyllis Klein. Mrs. James was a lifelong Tampa resident. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

JENKINS, Jesse R. 65 of Balm, passed away January 16, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; son, Jesse R., Jr. and daughter-in-law Debbie of Okeechobee; two daughters, Diane Watson and Debbie Jean both of Balm; four sisters, Esther Smith of Missouri, Ethel Richardson of Oklahoma, Rhonda Ashby of Tampa, Roneta Loving of Sarasota; four brothers, Warren Smith of Oklahoma, Sherman Smith of Balm , Royal of Texas , Robert of Balm; six grandchildren. He is a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietname War in addition to serving overseas in Germany and Japan. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1972 as Sergeant First Class after serving twenty years. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and the Good Conduct Medal. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2001 at Family Funer al Care, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, with Reverend Jimmy Brown officiating. LAWSON, William, 66, died January 18, 2001 in Brandon. He is survived by his wife, Kazuko; one brother, Asa Lawson, Jr. of Lake Worth, Fla.; two sisters, Alice Cook of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Connie Youngblood of Tampa, Fla. Born in Huntington, W.Va., he moved to the area in 1973 from Japan. He was a Protestant, a master sergeant in the United States Air Force and an active member of the Phi Delta Kappa organization. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to LifePath Hospice. Visitation will be January 22, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with services starting at 12:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.

LICATA, Nora P. Licata, age 85 of Tampa passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2001 in Orlando. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, John D. Licata. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John D. Jr. and Charlotte Licata, Marietta, Ga., daughter and son-in-law, Marietta L. and J.J. O'Boyle, Orlando, Fla., grandchildren, Stephen Vazquez, Gary Vazquez, Tiffanie Pfeiffer and John C. Licata, nine great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Licata was a lifelong resident of Tampa before moving to Orlando in 1995. She was of the Catholic faith and had been very active at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12:00 Noon at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Armenia Chapel, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 noon at the funeral home.

MADDEN, Rev. Paul A., 87, of Lutz, went home to Heaven January 18, 2001. He is survived by Miriam, his loving wife of 59 years; four children, Donna Wallingford (Darrell) of Arkansas, Paul Madden of Land O'Lakes, Florida, Wilma Whitlatch (Alan) of Illinois, Dorothy McDowell (Dan) of Iowa; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Rev. Madden was born in Kansas. He pastored churches in Ka nsas and Iowa. After retiring in Florida, he served as visitation pastor at Tampa First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Madden was a loving husband, father, and pastor who has been eternally active in the building of the Lord's Kingdom. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, at First Church of the Nazarene, 5902 Himes Avenue North, Tampa, FL 33614. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. McDEVITT, Hugh V., 69, of Sun City Center died January 19, 2001 at his residence. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; sons, Michael and Vincent; daughter, Roseann Hiltner; step-sons, Kenneth Benditt, John Benditt, and Thomas Benditt, a sister, Rose Massari and nine grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he moved to this area in 1987 from Pennsylvania . Mr. McDevitt was a U.S.A.F veteran, and was a retired electrical designing engineer. Mr. McDevitt was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. All visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 22, 2001 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Lewers Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 23, 2001 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Monsignor Harold Bumpus officiating. Interment services will be on Wednesday morning at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to LifePath Hospice of Sun City Center, Fla. NAPOLITANO, Theodore, 74, of Tampa, passed away January 19, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Gisela; son, Chip Nap; daughter, Lila Robbins and husband Eric. He will be very much missed by family and friends.

Mr. O'Neill is survived by his loving wife Marion of fifty years; sons, Charles, Joseph and Scot; daughter Susan Pearsall; brother; Norbert; sister, Mary Joe Wielend. Fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Donald. Mr. O'Neill was a Catholic by faith and retired from the U.S. Navy. OUTEN, Roy B., 74, of Lutz passed away on January 18, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Outen; daughter and husband, MaryAnn and Charlie Back; two grandsons, Chaz and Kyle Back; mother; two sisters; and a brother. He played professional baseball for the Red Hats. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11:30 a.m., at the Adams & Jennings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends 1 hour before services on Tuesday.

Born in Jacksonville, FL and lived in Tampa from 1956 to 1962, moved to Jacksonville in 1962, and moved to this area in 1984 from Jacksonville. He was a retired Lt. Commander in the United States Navy Reserves, and a Naval Aviator during World War II. Graduate of the University of Florida. He was a member of the American Legion.
