He is survived by his mother, Mirta Jimenez; his brothers, Ruben Herrera and Tony Jimenez; his sisters, Eulalia Ward and Angela Acosta; his aunts, Lydia Lopez, Hilda Rojo and Osilia Rodriguez; and several nieces and nephews. LUCAS, Robert G., 56, Tampa, died January 17, 2001. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended The River Church. Survived by wife, Maria E. Lucas; daughters, Deana Marie, Tina Marie, Jessie Marie, and Marie Lynn Lucas, all of Tampa; brother, Thomas Eugene Lucas, and sister, Marilyn Vera, both of Tampa. Funeral services will be graveside at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2001, at Orange Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, January 19, at Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave. He was loved by family & friends, and will be missed by everyone.

MARYLIS, Thomas, 83, of Tampa, died January 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Orsalia of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Speros Marylis of Tampa, Fla., Vasilios `Bill` Marylis and wife Sharon of Plant City, Fla.; one brother, Tasos Marylis of New York City; one granddaughter and two great- grandchildren. Mr. Marylis was born in Ithaca, Greece, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and a member of DAV Chapter #4. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. John Greek Orthodox Church. RODRIGUEZ, David O., 86, passed away at his home, January 17, 2001, in Tampa, Fla. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Rodriguez. Survivors include his two daughters, Avelina Johnson of Tampa and Dolly Wyatt of Braddyville, Iowa; one brother, George Rodriguez of Tampa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Rodriguez was a World War II First Class Ele ctricians United States Navy and retired from the University of Tampa. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Lynn Sayne, Suncoast Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Centro Espanol Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

ROGERS, Lehmon McGraph went home to the Father on the 16th day of January, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Harriet of Old Town, Fla.; daughters, Sue Sumner of Belleview, Fla. and Tish Fair of Durham, N.C.; and a stepson, Marc Jones of Palm Springs, Calif. His surviving siblings are Evelyn Helton of Irwenton, Ga., Lois Jean Helms of Abbieville, Ga., Faustine Peacock of Macon, Ga., Virginia Tho mpson of Moultrie, Ga., and one brother, Sammie Rogers of Helena, Ga. He had suffered with congestive heart failure for a number of years. He fought the good fight. Mr. Rogers was born July 13, 1922 in Dodge County, Georgia. He was the son of William and Addie Rogers, and was one of 14 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, three sisters and four brothers. Rogers was edu cated in the public schools of Dodge County. Her served in World War II in the Combat Engineers Anti-Tank Company 359th Infantry Regiment in Europe. His first post war years were spent as an automobile dealer with dealerships in Middle, Ga. In later years he was a rancher in Central Florida, a campground manager in North Carolina and a fishing guide in South Florida and Steinhatchee, Fla. Memorial services are to be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, in the Old Town Methodist Church officiated by Rev. David White. SZYMANIAK, Nora E., 74, of Valrico passed away in Brandon on Wednesday, January 17, 2001. A native of Boston, Mass. she had resided here since 1997 coming from Cape Coral, Fla. She is survived by her husband, John; son, Peter of St. Petersburg; daughter, Jean Reese, Valrico; two brothers, John Maciejko, Boston, Mass. and Joseph Maciejko, Dorchester, Mass.; six sisters, Carol Waga, Willow Grove, Pa., Jean Hughes, Falls Church, Va., Anna Jurusz, Quincy, Mass., Vicky Kostowski, Needham, Mass., Angela Mickiewicz, Braintree, Mass. and Mary Narus, Dorchester, Mass. and four grandchildren. She was a homemaker and member of Nativity Catholic Church. The family will receive friends this evening (Friday) from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon. THOMAS, Thelma M., 82, of Zephyrhills, passed away Wednesday morning, January 17, 2001. Survivors include her husband, Henry A. Thomas of Zephyrhills, Fla.; daughter, Patricia L. Templin of Dade City, Fla.; sons, Stephen A. Thomas of Anchorage, Alaska and David H. Thomas of Huntley, Mont.; sister, Mary Rickards of Spring Hill, Fla.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the 1918 Club.

WILLIAMS, James B., 82, of Plant City, passed away January 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Lillie R. Williams; daughter, Rosemarie Leslie and husband Ted of Plant City; son, Larry R. Williams of Plant City; sister, Ruth Cunningham of Tampa; two granddaughters, Dawn Riopelle and husband Chuck of Tampa and Heather Kennerly and husband, Randy of St. Augustine; and two great-granddaughters. M r. Williams was born in Americus, Ga. in 1918 and resided in Hillsborough County since 1925. He served in the 2nd Armored Division, U.S. Army in Europe during World War II and worked for American Can Company for thirty-two years, retiring in 1979. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Doud, Crossroads Wesleyann Church officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. CHAMBERS, Kathleen H., 77, of Dade City, Fla., passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2001 in Zephyrhills, Fla. She is survived by her son, Sonny Chambers, Dade City, Fla.; her brother, Eugene Holtzhower, Dade City, Fla.; her sister, Joann Hasting, Mooresville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Leeann Chambers and Mark Shawn Chambers; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a retired Bookkeeper for the Pe ninsular Meat Co. in Tampa, Fla., and attended the Amelia Baptist Church in Darby, Fla. She enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, gardening, and fishing. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2001 at the Coleman & Ferguson Chapel. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Ferguson Funeral Home. BOEHNING, Dorothy A., age 88 of Tampa, died January 10, 2001. Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard; daughter-in-law, Kathryn; three grandchildren, David, Kristen and Jeffrey; and two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Tanner, all of Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida. And by her brother, Charles W. Abrend of Singers Glen, Rockingham County, Virginia. Formerly a resident of Staten Island, New York , and Kendall, Florida, she resided the last four years of her life at Clare Bridge of Tampa, Florida, an assisted living facility. Prior to that she had a home in Williamsburg of Tampa. Born January 5, 1913, the daughter of Charles and Hattie Abrend, previously of Jewett Avenue, Westerleigh, Staten Island, she was a graduate of Port Richmond High School, class of 1931. During her career she was a n executive secretary for various law and accounting firms in both Miami, Florida and on Wall Street in New York City. She and her husband, Dick, who preceded her in death, were members of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Kendall, Florida. Dorothy was a 25 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Coral Gables, Florida Chapter #174. Graveside services will be held at her place of interment, Woodlawn Cemetery South, Miami, Florida.

BOYLE, Josephine Frese, Tampa, 90, died Monday, January 15, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Garry A. Boyle, Sr. Survivors include four children, Garry A. Boyle, Jr. and wife Martha, Annapolis, Md.; Joseph A. Boyle, Sr., Talla- hassee; Marie B. McGillivray and husband Ross, Temple Terrace; and Thomas M. Boyle and wife Susan, Tampa; a brother, Karl W. Frese, his wife, Mary Ann; and a si ster, Sister Marie Josephine Frese, O.S.F., all of Tampa. Josephine had 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition, she is survived by loving friends and caretakers at Adams House Assisted Living, Tampa, and Blanca and Julio Martinez, Tampa, who attended her last days. She was born and lived her whole life in Tampa. She attended Our Lad y of Perpetual Help School. Josephine worked primarily as a legal secretary. For 25 years, she served as Hillsborough County Probate Court clerk under Judge William Brooker. She worked briefly, just before retirement, for Judge Rene Zacchini. When Judge Zacchini returned to private practice, Josephine worked part-time as his legal secretary until her second retirement at 75. She was a lifelong mem ber of Christ the King Catholic Church and drove herself to daily Mass until she could no longer walk a year before she died. She was an active member of the Christ the King OWLS. She was a past member of the Mother's Clubs at Christ the King Parochial School, the Academy of the Holy Names and Jesuit High School. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association where she had perfect a ttendance. She was a past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Post 139, Tampa. She was a partner in the Past Presidents' of Salon 235, Eight and 40. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers, Tampa Chapel, 4040 Henderson Blvd., Tampa. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 19, at 10:00 a.m., Christ the King Church, 821 South Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Rev. John J. Blum, celebrant. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rene Zacchini, Todd Anderson, Jose Fernandez, Garry Boyle, III, Joseph Boyle, Jr., John Boyle, T. She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Carl Butts and his wife, Vicki; three daughters, Nancy Coryell, Judy Clark; Cheryl Westfall and her husband, Andy; brother, Kenny Hodson; two sisters, Marion Thompson and Maxine Schwabauer; six grandchildren, Heather Clark, Brett Coryell, Trevor and Taylor Butts, Joshua and Megan W estfall. She has resided in Tampa since 1962 coming from Bagley, Minn. She was the owner of Armour Costume House and a Baptist. Mr. Davis was a native of Miami and moved to Tampa in 1984. He was an Air Force Veteran and attended the First Churc h of the Nazarene.
