FRIEDRICH, Jeff, 35, of Tampa, died Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. Jeff is survived by his fiancee, Mary Catherine Hallinger. Born at Homestead Air Force Base, he came to Tampa in 1984 from Stuart, Fla. A student at USF, he was employed at The Press Box.

GITELSON, Albert I., 71, resident of Tampa since 1969, died Wednesday, January 17, 2001. Survived by his wife, Christine H. Gitelson; son, Mark Kevin Hicks, of Burlingame, Calif.; sister, Barbara Blayne, East Windsor, N.J.; brother-in-law, William F. Hatcher, Kingston, Wash.; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gitelson was a Sgt. First Class (E-7) U.S. Army and a retired pain ting contractor. The family will receive friends from 7:30-8:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday at the funeral home. military services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.

HUTCHCRAFT, Bruce W. age 52, of Demorest, Ga., died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at his residence following an extended Illness. Survivors include his wife, Joanna Temple Hutchcraft of Demorest, Ga.; parents, William A. and Lois Bundy Hutchcraft of Brandon, Fla.; his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Edwards of Plant City, Fla.; his brother, William W. `Bill` Hutchcraft of Gainesville, Ga. Several nieces an d nephews also survive. Mr. Hutchcraft was born in Covington, Ky. on March 1, 1948. He was a former TV broadcaster and was a real estate and commercial developer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Armstrong. Mr. Hutchcraft was a member of Gideons International and the Cornelia United Methodist Church. He was a former member of National Farmers Broadcasters Association, national officer of FFA and was a licensed pilot. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2001 from the Cornelia United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert W. Brown and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday. The family respectfully requests th at flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Gideons International, P.O. JAMESON, Elizabeth, 71, of Tampa, died January 16, 2001. She is survived by her son, Joseph Palmer and wife Julia of Tampa, Fla., two brothers, Edward and Carroll Rogers both of Neptune City, N.J. and sister, Ruth Steiger of Reading, Pa. Born in Lakewood, New Jersey, she moved to the Tampa area in 1976 from New Jersey. Mrs. Jameson was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

McCAMIS, Flo, 65, of Valrico passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2001. She is survived her husband, Darrel; loving mother of nine children; mother, Helen Casanta of Valrico; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday (today) at the STOWERS BRANDON CHAPEL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. til service time.

McMENEMY, James, 85, of Valrico died Tuesday, January 16, 2001. He is survived by one son, Brian McMenemy; and two granddaughters. National Cremation Society, Tampa

MOLL, John E. 84, died January 17, 2001 in Brandon. Born in Hilltown, Pa., he moved to the area two years ago from Melrose, Fla. He is survived by his son, John C. Moll of Seffner; stepson, Jimmy Cook of Gainesville; daughters, Stella Leonardi and Judy Swilley, both of Brandon; and stepdaughters, Ruby Parrish of Keystone Heights, Fla. and Nadine Browning of Newberry, Fla.; eight grandchildren a nd several great-grandchildren. He was a carpenter and a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. Visitation will be January 19, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. with services to follow at 10:00 a.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. 689-8121

PARKER, Mary H. 83, of Brandon died January 12, 2001. Survived by close friend, Jane Hopton, Brandon; and niece, Eunice Herndon, Lake City. Born in Fountain, Fla., she was a registered nurse. Swilley Funeral Home.

PERVOOST, Vivian Marie, 89, died Sunday, January 14, 2001 at Bon Secours Maria Manor in St. Petersburg. Mrs. Pervoost was preceded in death by her husband Peter W. Pervoost. Survivors include; her daughters Patricia McDonald and Beverly Morgado of Tampa; her son Robert Edelstein of Gainesville; five grandchildren, Mark Burrows, Barbara Angelo, Kimberly Collins, Richard Morgado and Randal Morgad o, all of Tampa; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pervoost was born in Davenport, Iowa on August 14, 1911 to Sidney and Roy Tufts and moved to Tampa in 1946. Mrs. Pervoost worked in the business office of the Tampa Tribune for thirteen years until her retirement in 1969. A burial service will be held at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2001. Arrangements are under the direction of Mark III Funeral Home (813) 831-9444.

SAUVAGEOT, John Howard, 55, of Brandon passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Josie; son, Frank Sauvageot; daughter, Joann Lancaster; two stepsons, Ronald Liposchak and Charles Painter, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Joy Liposchak and Charlene Painter; four brothers, Brett, Artie, Mark and Dean Sauvageot; 15 grandchildren; and best friend, Richard Jordan. A native of Wheeli ng, W. Va., he has resided in the Tampa area since 1985. He was the former owner of John's Amusements. Burial and final services will be in West Virginia. SURRENCY, Kenneth A., 59, of Tampa, died January 14, 2001. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Jr.; daughter, Judy; stepsons, Larry and Rick; two brothers and two sisters. He worked as a Communication Dispatcher with the Hillsborough Co. Sheriff's Dept. for 23 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1001 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33629. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2001 at Oak Grove Church of God, 6830 N. Habana Ave., Tampa.

TRAPANI, Margherita 98, of St. Petersburg, died January 12, 2001. Survived by her husband, Ignazio Trapani. Born in Rochester, N.Y., and moved to the area several years ago from Coram, N.Y. She was a homemaker. Holloway F.H.

VANDERSLICE, Suzanna, 73 of Sun City Center, passed away January 14, 2001 at her residence. A native of Lakeland, she had moved to the area in 1947 from Lakeland. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Vanderslice had been a member of the Ruskin United Methodist Church for many years and had previously served as the choir director at the church. She was a member of the Honey Bees of the Navy Sea Bee Veteran s of Florida, Island X-16. She was a life member of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts. She was a member of Zane Grey's West Society and a founding member of the Tampa Oratorio Singers. She was a volunteer at the Hillsborough Co. Senior Center in Ruskin. Mrs. Vanderslice was a graduate of Lakeland High School and had attended Florida Southern College. She is survived by one son, Robert of Lakeland; a sister, Lella R. Pfeiffer of Columbia, S.C.; and a granddaughter, Renee Joy Vanderslice of Lakeland. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Lewers Funeral Home of Ruskin in charge of arrangements.

WILLIAMS, Vivian Irene, age 80 of Lakeland, died January 13, 2001. She issurvived by three sons; one brother; one sister; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Heath Funeral Chapel

YARBROUGH, Jerry Wayne, 52, of Tampa, died January 16, 2001 under the care of LifePath Hospice. He is survived by his parents, Daniel F. and Wilma Yarbrough; two daughters, Audrey Black and husband Gregory; Heather Yarbrough; one sister, Cheryl Burnham; one granddaughter, Brandi Black and one nephew, Patrick Burnham. Mr. Yarbrough was a lifelong resident of Tampa and was a U.S. Air Force Vetera n. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Garden of Memories funeral home with Rev. R.W. Kruithoff, Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.

BOEHNING, Dorothy A., age 88 of Tampa, died January 10, 2001. Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard; daughter-in-law, Kathryn; three grandchildren, David, Kristen and Jeffrey; and two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Tanner, all of Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida. And by her brother, Charles W. Abrend of Singers Glen, Rockingham County, Virginia. Formerly a resident of Staten Island, New York , and Kendall, Florida, she resided the last four years of her life at Clare Bridge of Tampa, Florida, an assisted living facility. Prior to that she had a home in Williamsburg of Tampa. Born January 5, 1913, the daughter of Charles and Hattie Abrend, previously of Jewett Avenue, Westerleigh, Staten Island, she was a graduate of Port Richmond High School, class of 1931. During her career she was a n executive secretary for various law and accounting firms in both Miami, Florida and on Wall Street in New York City. She and her husband, Dick, who preceded her in death, were members of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Kendall, Florida. Dorothy was a 25 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Coral Gables, Florida Chapter #174. Graveside services will be held at her place of interment, Woodlawn Cemetery South, Miami, Florida.

GRANTHAM, Lieutenant James H., 62, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Sunday, January 14, 2001 in Gainesville, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Grantham, Zephyrhills, Fla.; three daughters, Maxine Green and Elaine Hunter, both of San Antonio, Fla., Heather Grantham, Zephyrhills, Fla.; one sister, Christine Phillips, San Antonio, Fla.; his nephew, Neil Mathis, San Antonio, Fla.; four grand children, Justin Hunter, Matthew Hunter, Kayla and Cody Green. He was born June 23, 1938 in Pasco Station, Fla., and lived all his life in this area. He worked for the Pasco County Sheriff's Department for 27 years and was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #29 and the Cattlemen's Association. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2001, at the Coleman & Ferguson Chapel. BOYLE, Josephine M., 90, of Tampa, died Monday, January 15, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Garry A. Boyle, Sr. Survivors include four children, Garry A. Boyle, Jr., Annapolis, Md., Joseph A. Boyle, Sr., Talla- hassee, Marie B. McGillivray, Temple Terr- ace, and Thomas H. Boyle, Tampa; a brother, Karl W. Frese, his wife, Mary Ann, and a sister, Sister Marie Josephine Frese, O.S.F., al l of Tampa. Josephine had 11 grand- children and four great-grand- children. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition, she is survived by loving friends and caretakers at Adams House Assisted Living, Tampa, and Blanca and Julio Martinez, Tampa, who attended her last days. She was born and lived her whole life in Tampa. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. Josephine work ed primarily as a legal secretary. For 25 years, she served as Hillsborough County Probate Court Clerk under Judge William Brooker. She worked briefly, just before retirement, for his successor, Judge Rene Zacchini. When Judge Zacchini returned to private practice, Josephine worked part-time as his legal secretary until her second retirement at 75. She was a lifelong member of Christ the King Cath olic Church and drove herself to daily Mass until she could no longer walk a year before she died. She was a member of the Mothers' Club at Christ the King Parochial School and Jesuit High School. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association where she had perfect attendance. She was a past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Post 139, Tampa. She was a partner in th e Past Presidents' of Salon 235, Eight and 40. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Marsicano-B. Marion Reed- Stowers Tampa Chapel, 4040 Henderson Blvd, Tampa. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 19, at 10:00 a.m., Christ the King Church, 821 South Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, celebrant is Rev. John J. Bl um. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rene Zacchini, Todd Anderson, Jose Fernandez, Garry Boyle, III, Joseph Boyle, Jr., John Boyle, T., Michael Boyle, Jr., Alexander McGillivray. Flowers are acceptable, however, instead, contributions may be made to Christ the King Church or the charity of one's choice.

CLINE, Reid L., 88 of Tampa passed away on January 14, 2001, in Tampa, Fla. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosa Lee; son, Reid Cline Jr. and his wife Celia of Orlando, Fla.; daughters, Linda Lane and her husband Frank, Sharon Obaugh and her husband Ed, all of Tampa, Fla.; sister, Nell Cline of Pompano Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Cline was born in Sh elby, N.C. and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He served in the CCC and was in the Navy during World War II. He was an usher and deacon at Idlewild Baptist Church, a charter member of Community Lodge No. 292 F.& A.M. and he also retired from Maas Brothers Department Store having been a member of the Maas Brothers 25 year club. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January, 18, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Idlewild Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel, Carrollwood Chapel.
