FERNANDEZ, Agustin, Sr., 78, of Tampa, died January 15, 2001 in Tampa. He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Fernandez; son, Agustin Fernandez, Jr. and brother, Luis Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez was a native of Camaguey, Cuba, a member of the Cuban National Foundation and a U.S. citizen. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12:00 noon at the funeral home chapel. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Mrs. Grillo was preceded in death husband, Albert Grillo and survived by her son, Albert Canal; daughters, Irene Evans and Roxanna Leland, grandchildren, Duane, Rebecca and Adam Scott; great grandchildren, Tony, Christilina, Jenna, Chyenne and Kristin; sister, Adelaida Llano; loving family members, Vivian Mena, Rose Ayala, Nieve Perez, Beleseario Martinez, Martha Martinez and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday morning, at 11 o'clock from the chapel of Gonzalez Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Garden of Memories.

HAMILTON, Clayton William, `C.W.`, as he was known to many, peacefully joined his wife, Arlene V. Cotherman Hamilton, on January 14, 2001. He was born in Yale, Iowa, on February 27, 1922, and grew up in the Linden, Iowa, area where he spent most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother. Clayton is survived by his children, Bill and Vicky Hamilton, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Linda Glover, Grand Junction, Colo.; George and Debi Poe, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Cindie Oatney, Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grand children; sister, Dorothy Mains, Kingman, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Imogene Harper, Tampa, Fla.; sister-in-law and husband, Tom and Joyce Brace, Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; brother-in-law and wife, Bill and Pat Cotherman, Gore, Okla. He also had a very special bond with the family of Emele and Jeanne Clement and their children and families. He served in World War II; worked in Linden, and worked for and managed the Anderson Lumber Company for many years in Perry, Iowa. He moved his family to Tampa, Fla., in 1965 and retired in 1992. After retirement he spent most of the time with his children in Colorado and Arizona. In lieu of flowers you may help his family celebrate his life by making a donation to your local American Cancer Society or the Gardiner House, Hospice of the Valley, 1522 W. HAVER, Susie, 87, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died January 12, 2001. Survivors nephew, Robinson G. Lattimer, Warwick, N.Y. A homemaker, she was born in Goshen, N.Y., moved to Palm Harbor several years ago. Holloway F.H.

HOOVER, Harry, Sr., 75, of Tampa, died January 14, 2001 in Tampa. Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Hoover. Survivors include his sons, Douglas L. Hoover and wife Ann, and Harry V. Hoover, Jr. and wife Phyllis; grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Kelly and Jennifer Hoover; cousin, Ana Mae Biddinger; seven sisters and two brothers. Mr. Hoover retired from Jackson Products after 25 y ears of service as a supervisor. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning 10:00 a.m. at the Blount, Curry & Roel Armenia Chapel. KINSEL, Eddie, 56, of Delray Beach passed away on Monday, January 15, 2001 in Oakland Park. He is survived by his wife, Marti Kinsel of Delray Beach; son, Craig of Tampa; daughter, Karen of Charleston, S.C.; step-daughter, Meredith of Delray Beach; and two sisters, Darlene Baker of Oviedo and Nancy Christie of Indian Harbor Beach. Mr. Kinsel was born in Altoona, Pa. on July 18, 1944. He was a resident of Florida for the past 50 years. Eddie was an employee with Clayton Group Inc. for 27 years and most recently served as the Manager of Caribbean Sales for the SEMSCO International Division. Mr. Kinsel was an avid fisherman, dedicated employee, and a loving husband, father, and friend. A private family memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton. The family req uests expressions of sympathy be made to the International Game Fish Association, 300 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004, the American Heart Association (561) 394-0170, or a charity of one's choice. LAZZARA, Florence, 85, passed away at home on January 15, 2001. She was the beloved wife of Tony Lazzara, who preceded her in passing. He was a physician and surgeon for over 40 years, and was truly dedicated to all of his patients making house calls in the early days and sometimes not expecting any payment from those less fortunate. NICHOLS, Laura Hatton, 75, of Plant City, Florida, passed away on Monday Morning, January 15, 2001 at her residence with her loving family at her bedside. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her loving family; a husband of 58 years, Monroe Nichols of Plant City, Florida: two daughters; Frankie Cagle and her husband, Louis of Brandon, Florida and Fannie Keldie and her husband, Bob of Branchton, Florida ; a sister, Maggie Hatton of Donalsonville, Georgia; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, January 18, 2001 at the Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida with Reverend Ruben Nance and Reverend Tom Peters, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday eve ning, January 17, 2001 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. A homemaker and a native of Donalsonville, Georgia, Mrs. Nichols was a local resident since 1950, when she moved here from Donalsonville, Georgia. She was a member of the Hasty Point Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida and a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary in Plant City, Florida. Final interment will be at the Bloomingdale Cemetery, Valrico, Florida.

QUISENBERRY, Marge M., of Tampa died January 14, 2001. She was born in Slidell, Louisiana and moved to Clearwater Florida at age 9. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Glenn F. Downing and was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, J.F. Quisenberry. Other survivors include her son, James F. Quisenberry, Jr. and daughter, Linda Q. Sultenfuss; three grandchildren, Lindsay Trensch, Greg Quisenberry and Elizabeth Quisenberry; two great grandchildren, Colby Trensch and Taylor Trensch; her brother, G.C. `Bud` Moore of St. Petersburg, Fla and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Palma Ceia United Methodist Church and participated in Circle One. She was an avid golfer throughout her life at both Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club and Lone Palm Golf Club, Lakeland, Fla. She was a former member of the Tampa Woman's Club. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa. REDNER, Agnes, 86 of Tampa passed away January 14, 2001. She is survived by sons, William and Joe; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She worked at Downtown Madison Drugs for over 20 years, then later retired as a nurse. She also worked at W.T. Edwards, TB Hospital and County Hospital. SLAPPEY, Katherine Rawls died Sunday, January 14, 2001 at her residence in Pensacola. Mrs. Slappey is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon B. Slappey and a son, Thomas Edward Slappey. Survivors include two sons, Gordon B. Slappey, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee and Robert Lamar Slappey of Monticello, Fla., and one daughter, Suzanne S. Carlton of Pensacola. She also leaves ten grandchildren, sev en great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was born November 25, 1906 in Lake City, Florida. Mrs. Slappey was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church and devoted much of her efforts to the work of The Women of the Church. Her leadership roles over many years were greatly appreciated. In recent years she joined Christ Church where her daughter is a member. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2001.
