HAYES, Rosa Rodriguez, Following countless challenges to her unconquerable spirit, Rosa Hayes, devoted mother and friend to all - passed away peacefully at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2001. She was born on March 3, 1947 in Chiclayo, Peru. She is survived by husband, John Hayes; son, Curtis Hayes; parents, Aldo Enrique Rodriguez and Betty Villareal Rodriguez; brothers, Aldo Rodriguez and Oswaldo Rodriguez; and sister Anita Colchado. Rosa's inspirational life of triumph extended through multiple illnesses and complications. The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 6, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Brandon, 216 North Parsons Ave., (813) 689-1024. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m.

HEINSEN, Lena Mae, 90, died January 3, 2001. Survivors include daughters and their husbands, Jo Ann and Kenton Foster, Plant City, Mary Lou and Larry Blount, Tampa, and Nora Jean and Al Capati of Tampa; sister, Marie Swindall of Miami; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was born in Savannah, Ga. A member of (Spencer Memorial) Tampa Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Mrs. Heinsen was a member of the original faculty of the Spencer Memorial Baptist School. She was widely known and acclaimed for her love for children, family, friends; and was a dedicated servant of the Lord. Funeral services will be held at the Tampa Baptist Church, 300 E. Sligh Ave. at 2:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Steve Ross and Dr. Waylon Moore officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in her memory.

HENDRICKS, Teresa Reece, 48, of Cape Canaveral, Fla formerly of Tampa died January 4, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Ranee C. Applegate of Tampa; parents, John D. Reece of Lutz and Joan E. Tibbitts of Wesley Chapel; grandmother, Frances P. Scott of Hudson, Fla; two brothers, John T. Reece and Scott A. Reece, both of Tampa; and three grandchildren, Joseph D. Applegate, Aaron S. Applegate and Shane C. Godwin, all of Tampa. Teresa was employed with GATX Corp, Tampa and Orlando. Known lovingly as `Nana` to granddaughter, Leigh Anne Freeman and husband Jim along with her grandson Stuart Gray and wife Elizabeth of Brandon, Fla. and four great grandsons: James and Alan Freeman of Birmingham, Ala. and Michael and Andrew, both of Brandon, Fla. HUBER, Jack K., Jr., 84, of Tampa, died January 2, 2001 in Tampa. He is survived by his stepson, Royall Brown; grandson, Royce Brown and one great-grandchild. JARDON, Thomas, 99, went to be with our Lord, January 2, 2001. Survivors include daughters and their husbands, Mariana and Bill Garcia, and Evelyn and Mike Register, all of Tampa; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Born in Cuba, he came to Florida at five months old. He retired after 38 years, as a Chef at Childs Restaurant in New York City. He was proud of having served as an Air-Raid Warden in New York during World War II. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 6, 2001 at the Christ Community Church, 6202 N. Himes Ave.

JOHNSON, Floyd C. Jr., 66, of Ft. Lauderdale, formerly of Plant City, Fla. died December 31, 2000 at Pompano Beach under the care of Vitas Hospice and his loving family. KIRACOFE, , Eileen Bagre, passed away Wednesday January 3, 2001. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Bagre Kiracofe of Tampa and Linda Kiracofe Evans of Clarendon, Vermont. Formally of West Haven Connecticut, Eileen had moved to Tampa in 1986. Eileen had been a member of The Tampa Women's Club, and also The Garden Club and Laurel Women's Club, both of West Haven. A private memorial service will be held in Connecticut this spring.

KITKO, John G., 95 of Sun City Center, Fla. passed into eternity at home Wednesday January 3, 2001, having been preceded in death last month by his beloved wife of 71 years, Mary. Survivors are three children: Jack of Brandon, Joan and Frances of Sun City Center; four grandchildren: Katherine of Ashland, Oregon, John of Tampa, Anne of Seffner and Dennis of Tallahassee; four great grandchildren: Lisa, Rachael, John and Justin. A native of Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. Vincent moved to the Tampa area 43 years ago from Arcadia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon. WRIGHT, Eric David, 15, of Seffner, loving son, brother and friend, passed away on January 2, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Hubert Neal and Peggy Wright of Seffner; brother, Jason Wright of Seffner; paternal grandparents, Henry and Arlene Wright of Temple Terrace; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Marie Parsons of Tampa; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Eric was a student at Armwood High School, an avid artist and bicyclist. Eric was always a loving and giving person in life and through death, his spirit of giving will continue as an organ donor. ALLGEIER, Cathy Beal, 59, Lutz, Fla., died Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at her residence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Glenn Beal. Survivors include a brother, Jan S. Beal and his wife Kitty of McKean, Pa.; a sister, Jane C. Walsh and her husband Dennis of McKean; two nephews, Brett Beal and his wife Traci and Marty Beal and his wife Dana; two nieces , Rachelle Beal and Karissa Walsh; and several great nephews and nieces. She was born in North East, Pa., May 8, 1941, daughter of the late C. W. `Cap` and Marian Swanson Beal. A 1959 graduate of North East High School, she was crowned Queen of the Cherry Festival the same year. She was a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York City and earned her Masters Degree from Edinboro University. As a lice nsed Interior Designer, she owned and operated Allgeier Associates in Washington , D.C. for several years. In addition to her family, friends and traveling, she enjoyed teaching at various national and international universities throughout her career. There will be no calling hours. Anna is preceded in death by her husband; Richard Carnes Sr. She is survived by four sons, Timothy, Richard Jr. and Matthew Carnes all of Zephyrhills and Michael T. Carnes of Akron, Ohio; three daughters; Debora Langford of Zephyrhills, Martha Carnes of Dade City and Patricia Stacks of Kentucky; thre e brothers, Junior King of Campton, Ky., Bill McGee of Zephyrhills and Price McGee of Mount Perry, Ohio; five sisters, Tina Douglas of Zephyrhills, Alberta Thomas of Zanesville, Ohio, Mallie Puckett of Gosha, Ohio, Connie Reid of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Idamae Spencer of Springfield, Ohio; as well as 19 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2001 at Noon in Victorious Life Assembly of God in Wesley Chapel with Pastor Saul Whitman officiating. Anna was a native of Campton, Kentucky and had moved to the Zephyrhills area 27 years ago from Orlando. She had been a commercial truck driver and homemaker and a member of Victorious Life Assembly, an active supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital as well as a 10 gallon donor at the Florida Blood Bank. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister and will be missed by all.

SWAIN, Almon C., 71, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday, January 4, 2001 at Hospice of Pasco in Dade City. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joan; two daughters, Deborah Stark of E. Syracuse, N.Y. and Joan Brewer of Camillus, N.Y.; a son, Almon C. Swain, Jr. of Wytheville, Virginia; a sister Mae Garrison of E. Syracuse, N.Y. and five grandchildren. A native of Hammond, N.Y., he has been a wint er visitor here since 1993, coming from Sterling, N.Y. He was a retired machine operator for Container Corporation of America. He was a member of the Red Creek Conservation Club of Red Creek, N.Y. and Good Sams Club of Fulton, N.Y. and was Presbyterian. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to Enable, Inc. of Syracuse, N.Y. HODGES FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
