STURDIVANT, Wanda L., 76, of Hudson, FL died Thursday, March 29, 2001. She is survived by one daughter, Aleta; two sisters, Kathern and Frances; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arlington Funeral Home

Survivors include his wife, Juanita; sons, Thomas and Ronald; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his brothers-in-law, James Alderman and Homer Alderman Jr. Mr. Swiger was a long time member and Deacon of Seminole Heights Baptist Church and a mason with Fellowship Lodge # 265. Funeral services will be Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home cha pel, with Dr. Thomas Pinner officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice or the Seminole Heights Baptist Church building fund.

TOOLE, Fadie Lee, 85, passed away Friday, March 30, 2001 at New Port Richey Community Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Odell Toole; daughters, Vivian Roberts, Velma Calton, Vernelle Haney, Carrie Blake; sons, Delma Toole, Daylon O. Toole, Reggie W. Toole; also survived by 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Loyl ess Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. till service time. Interment will follow at Geiger Cemetery in Zephyrhills. TROWBRIDGE, Lt. Colonel Lee M., USAF retired, age 81, passed away March 20, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Metcalf Trowbridge and his sister, Mary Jane Mowry. He is survived by his daughter, Daphne Jeffers Wheeless and husband, Bob; his sons, Mark Trowbridge and John Trowbridge and wife, Patty, all of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Samuel Metcalf, of Tall ahassee, Mary Nesbit of Vienna, VA, Carol Freeland, of Alberta, Canada, Kenneth Trowbridge of Ft. Worth, TX and William Trowbridge of Avon Lake, OH; and 12 grandchildren. He served in the Air Force from 1941 until 1972 retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He served in World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He served as a pilot and squadron commander throughout his military career. After retiring from th e military he worked as a bailiff for Hillsborough County. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Canterbury Towers, 3501 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629. The family request donations in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice in his memory.

WEEKLY, Elizabeth L.`Betty`, 74, of Ruskin, passed away March 29, 2001 at her residence. She is survived by a son,

Michael of Brandon; two daughters, Sharon Hare of Ruskin and Kandra McFarland of Bedford, MI; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A native of Battle Creek, MI, Mrs. Weekly moved to the area 40 years ago from Columbus, OH. She was the owner of an outdoor amusement business. She was a member of the Showman's Club Association and was of the Baptist faith. The family requests that me morial contributions be made to the Showman's Association, P.O. Box 188, Gibsonton, FL 33534. The family will receive friends at Lewers Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. Interment will be in New Bedford, MI.

WEIR, Frank E., 80, of Sun City Center, FL died Thursday, March 28, 2001 at South Bay Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Marie; four sons, Tom and Jerry both of Indianapolis, IN, Bill of Jackson, MI and Jim of Tampa, FL; two daughters, Shirley Weir and Sally Lee both of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Marilyn Pryka of Maumee, OH; and a brother, Roy of Clearwater, FL. 14 grandchildren; and 14 gre at-grandchildren. He moved to Sun City Center in 1997 from his native Indianapolis, IN. He served in the Army as a sergeant during World War II. He was a time study engineer for International Harvester and attended St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Cumberland Lodge F & AM in Cumberland, IN. Memorial service 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at Family Funeral Care, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL with Dr. Larry L. Lewis officiating. BOSE, Leona Mary, 89 of Odessa died on Friday at Community Hospital in New Port Richey. She is survived by her husband, Leo W. Bose, four sons, Loren , Larry, Lanny Joe and Lamont Kress, a daughter, Lona Underwood, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son Lance. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where a Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Private interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. A native of Dillon, S.C. Mr. Herring came to the Tampa area in 1963. He was a Baptist and retired from the vending machine industry. She is survived by her 3 sons, Lawrence and Ronald, both of Riverview, and William of Balm; daughter, Coleen Squillante of Brooksville, Fl; brother, Eugene of Ohio; 2 sisters, Ramona and Nadine, both of Ohio; and 6 grandchildren. A native of Alliance, Ohio, Mrs. O'Brien came to riverview in 1951; she was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m.

Survived by his wife of 45 years, Keen; daughter Megan and her husband Paul Weber of Coral Springs; son, Brian and his wife, Laura, of New York City; grandchildren, Thomas and Cassandra Weber; Brother, Thomas of Palm Desert, Calif.; and sister, Virginia of Naples. Mr. O'Sullivan was a professor of Theater at USF for 38 years. He was a well-known teacher, actor and stage director.

STRUSS, Charles R., 86, of Tampa passed away August 11, 2001. He is survived by his son, Rick Struss & his wife Pam of Northern Virginia; two granddaughters, Nicolle and Adrienne Struss. Mr. Struss was born in Pittsburgh, Penn. and was a Tampa resident since 1950. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired in 1976 from Gulf Oil Corp after 43 years of service. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at University Village. A graveside service will be held 12 Noon Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. He presently worked as a Greeter for the Target Retail Stores. He was born in New York City and was a avid `Yankees` fan. WILLIAMS, S.S. JR. Jr. Williams of Plant City passed away August 9, 2001 after a long battle of heart problems. A life long resident of the area. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of 51 years; Sons, Steve, Rowland, Jerrold, George Sprouse; and daughter, Elaine; Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Ralph, of Plant City; and three sisters, Mary Sistr unk, Myrtle Welch all of Plant City; and Betty Hazen of Highland City. Mr. Williams was a member of Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association and was a Strawberry Grower for over forty years. He was well known in the strawberry industry. His life evolved around the growing and selling of his berry crop. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

YAEGER, Doris L., 89, of Tampa took the Lord's hand and joined Him in heaven on Thursday, 9 August 2001 while at her home. Her husband, Powell G. Yaeger; and sister, Vivian Eiseman predeceased her. Son, William L. Yaeger and his wife Wanda of Davenport, Fla.; sisters, Elsie Johnston of Bluffton, Ohio; and Rosemary Price and her husband Harold W. Price of Sun City Center, Fla.; three grandchild ren and three great-grand children, survive her. Born in Ohio, Mrs. Yaeger has lived in Tampa since 1953. She was formerly employed by the W.T. Edwards Hospital until it closed and retired from the Florida Bureau of Blind Services. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LifePath Hospice; 3010 West Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609. There will be a Celebration of her life at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, 19 October at 2:30 p.m.
