Larry will be sadly missed by his wife, Mirtha; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Sean Hillary; sister, June Taft; nieces and nephews, family and friends. Born October 22, 1943 in Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of A.D. and Thelma Whaley. ABLES, Murray F., M.D, 68, of Hudson, formerly of Tampa, died Friday, July 27, 2001. Survived by his wife, Norma; 12 children; a sister, Patty Akins, Tulsa, Okla.; and 22 grandchildren. He retired as a Psychiatric Physician from the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Bay Pines, after 30 years of service. He was a Lieutenant/ Radar Specialist with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Kor ean Conflict. He was a member of the American Psychiatric Assoc., the American Medical Assoc., and the Gulf Island Beach & Tennis Club Assoc., Hudson. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Assoc. AGDAMAG, Mary Ryllis Hill, 56, of Brandon, passed away at home, Tuesday, July 24, 2001. Mary is survived by her husband, Peter; three sons, Peter, Jr., Preston, and Patrick; two grand- sons, Peyton and Pierceton; a daughter-in -law, Julie; mother, Velma Hill; a sister, Madeline Gaston. She was a teacher of the deaf for Hillsborough County Schools for thirty three years, a graduate of the Unive rsity of South Florida and Nova University. She was a member of Brandon Sertoma Club and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, July 29, 2001, 3:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia's Episcopal Church, 1920 Maydell Drive, Tampa, Fla. The family will receive friends at Stowers Brandon Chapel on Saturday, July 28, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

CHURCH, Mrs. Beauford Thrower (Bailey), 83, born August 11, 1917, died July 26, 2001, an event precipitated by a fall. She is survived by her children, Charles and Nancy Bailey of Indian Rocks Beach; Charlalee Bailey and John Iacovini of Tybee Island, Georgia; Laurence Lee and Linda Bailey of Duluth, Georgia; George and Debbie Church of Wilmington, North Carolina and Edward and Pat Church of Lo cust Grove, Georgia. She also had 13 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. She was with friends and family at Big Canoe, Georgia, when the accident occurred. She was the daughter of Laurence L. Thrower and Charlie Virginia Turk Thrower, both of Tampa and now deceased; she was the granddaughter of Rev. Benjamin Key Thrower, former pastor of First United Methodist Church and Laura Mitchell Th rower of Tampa, both deceased. She was first married in 1937 to Charles F. Bailey, who died in 1955. Colonel George B. Church was her second husband, and together they reared their combined families of six children in Tampa on Sunset Drive and at Indian Rocks Beach. Beauford attended Plant High School and Florida State College for Women now known as Florida State University. While there, she joine d the Kappa Delta Sorority. In Tampa, she was an active member of the Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. In later years, she made her home in Atlanta, Georgia and Lakemont, Georgia, where she dedicated a good deal of her time to her vocation, portrait painting. She also enjoyed serving as Secretary/Treasurer of the National League of Pen Women, Georgia Chapter. She was a member of Northside Unite d Methodist Church where she served as a Stephen's Minister. A service in her memory was held at Northside United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2001. She will be interred at Myrtle Hill Memorial Gardens following a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., on July 30, 2001 attended by family members and conducted by Rev. Paul Wagner, her former minister at the Palma Ceia United Methodi st Church, now retired. Memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Children's Home, 500 Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030, or the Atlanta Sacred Chorale, P.O. Box 88626, Atlanta, Georgia, in her memory.

KUGLIN, Frederick T., passed away on July 24, 2001 at Kindred Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lillian Ann Kuglin; daughter, JoAnn M. Koehler and son-in-law Jeff of Lutz; son Frederick A. and daughter- in- law Karin of Plano, Texas , and five grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born on June 1, 1915 in Erie, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army as a first sergeant in the 246 Signal Corp. during World War II. He received the Good conduct medal, the World War II Victory medal, American campaign medal, European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 5 Bronze stars. He married Lillian Conway when he returned from the war. They raised their family in Cleveland, Ohio and Overland Park, Kansas. He was a successful businessman who retired from Atlantic Ritchfield - Arco in 1980. In 1984 he and his wife moved to Tampa, Florida. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelist Catholic Church and a lifelong devoted and practicing Catholic. He was a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars. His family and friends will receive friends on Sunday July 29, 2001 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Carrollw ood Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2001 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association.

McBRIDE, Beryle Q., 62, suddenly departed into the arms of the Lord on 26 July, 2001 due to heart disease. Beryle is mourned by his wife of 31 years, Elayne; parents, Arthur and Edna; brother, Wendell; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Louie Diaz and son Brett; aunt and uncle, Betty and Bill Remington; numerous cousins. A native Tulsan and a National Guard veteran, Beryle adopted Tampa as his home in 1967. His Contagious personality and friendly demeanor paved the way for a plethora of awards, received during his thirty plus years of service to the community through Roger Whitley Chevrolet. Beryle Q. garnered the affection and respect of the countless lives he touched and left an indelible impression on all. His eternal gain is our earthly loss. The family will receive friends Monday, July 30, 2001, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. MISIASZEK, Milton E., 51, of Tampa, passed away at home Thursday, July 26, 2001 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Tracy; his mother, Regina Gocek of Syracuse, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Anne of Riverview; sister and brother-in-law, Bernadine and Rev. Colon Wright; nephew, Jason Wright; and niece Jeanette Wright of Green, N.Y. He is predeceased by his father, Milton Misiaszek, and step-father, Louis Gocek. Milton graduated from St. John the Baptist High School in Syracuse and was a veteran of the Vietname War. The family will receive friends at Prevatt Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, July 28, 2001 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted in Prevatt Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, July 29, 2001 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. She is survived by her beloved husband, Hector Melendez; daughters, Aurora Mayet-McGee andhusband, Rob Terminello; Consuelo Quinones and partner, Karen Pavidis; grandsons, John McGee and wife, Joyce Mcgee; Kevin McGee; great-granddaughters, Emily Nole McGee, Madelyn Kate McGee; nephew, Genaro Huerta; nieces, Lucy Iglessia and Hopey Rodriquez, and Lucy Salle; along with many loved relatives and friends. SCHEWE, Alden C., M.D., 68, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at Bear Creek Nursing Home in Hudson, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons, Daniel C. Schewe of Delaware, and Jerry Woodka of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Pamela MacDowell of Lafayette, La.; and Susan Donovan of Tallahassee, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he moved here three years ago from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Dr. Schewe was a retired surgeon who worked in various medical facilities in the Florida Keys and Pittsfield, Ill. for 24 years. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Gulfport Radio Club and the Quiet Birdman Flying Club.
