CROSBY, Vernon R., 70 of Valrico, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2001. He is survived by two sons, Vernon Crosby, Jr. of Dover and William Crosby of Valrico; one daughter, Theresa L. Crosby of Dover; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, and a member of and Deacon of Sydney Baptist Church, Sydney, Fla. He was a U.S. Air Force vet eran. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 28, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Sydney Baptist Church. The family will receive friends, Friday, July 27, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Church.

ELDREDGE, Mary

Elizabeth (Davis), age 99, of Tampa, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at The Grand Court-Tampa. Survived by her son, and daughter-in-law Charles T. and Carol Eldredge, of Tampa. She was preceded in death by her husband T. Fay Eldredge and her son, Robert L. Eldredge. Born in Dickey, GA. on Jan. 27, 1902, she graduated from Georgia State Teachers College and moved to Tampa in 1924. Mrs. Eldredge wa s a board member and one of the founders of the Hillsborough Association for Retarded Citizens. For over twenty five years she operated a nursery school and kindergarten in South Tampa. Mrs. Eldredge was a member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dr. John T. DeBevoise will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial contributions to LifePath Hospice or to a charity of your choice.

HENLEY, Donald Nathion, 59, of Land O' Lakes, Fla., passed away July 24, 2001 in Tampa. Survivors include his wife, Jolene Henley; a daughter, Dawn (Becky) R. Henley; and a son, Samuel G. Henley, both of Land O' Lakes. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Thompson and Patricia McBride of Land O' Lakes; and a brother, Robert L. Henley of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. Born September 21, 1941 in Dade City, Fla., he was the son of the late Gordon L. and Ruby Snipes Henley. Mr. Henley was a US Coast Guard veteran and a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Land O'Lakes. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, SR 54, New Port Richey. Funeral services will take place Sunday, Jul y 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Terry McKenzie will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to James A. Haley Nursing Home, c/o GPS Acct# 9039, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612. Burial will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Mexico, she moved to this area in 1991 from Chicago. She was Catholic and worked in an electronic factory. McGOVERN, Vincent P., 80, of Tampa died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. Survivors include three sons, Kevin, Terence, and James all of Tampa; a daughter, June; three granddaughters Kayla, Kara, and Lauren; a niece Patricia and a nephew, John. Mr. McGovern moved to Tampa in 1967, was a construction superintendent for 40 years served in the Army and Merchant Marines during World War II. McKINNON, Gordon, at age 72, passed from this earth Monday July 23, 2001 while surrounded by family and loved ones at his home on Davis Islands. Gordon is survived by his children David, Kenneth and Karen and their families, his wife Edna and her two sons, Bruce and Gary, his sister Twyla Jacklin, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who love him dearly. A wonderful man wi th a highly creative mind, Gordon has made many close friends across the USA and Canada with his dynamic personality and generous nature. Among his many accomplishments Gordon created Seamco Laboratories Inc. in 1968, a national company headquartered in Tampa, Fla. He was a pioneer in the epoxy river rock and Flo-Crete decking business, the creator of Foam WonderWall building system and the holder of numerous patents. Gordon will be greatly missed and will live on forever in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Adams & Jennings Funeral Home. He is survived by his parents, Clayton and Pauline Osteen of Lakeland; his daughter, Tammy Selman of Brooksville; his sisters, Ilona Hughes of Palmetto, Sharon Bostick of Plant City, Katie Lamb and her husband, BG, of Kathleen; granddaughters Ciara and Je nna Selman; his ex-wives, Jeanette Owens and Linda Vaillancourt. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rickey. He grew up in Brandon and worked for Cargil for 25+ years. The family will receive friends on July 27 from

SCHOEWE, Suzanne Marie, 52, of Lithia, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2001. Suvivors include her husband, David G. of Lithia; mother, Marie Herman of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Edward J. Herman, Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M., and David Herman of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Barbara Burrill of Dayton, Ohio. Suzanne lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1978, coming from Ohio. She was a member of the Ame rican Society of Interior Designers, and the Florida Association of Interior Designers. She was a graduate of Sandusky St. Mary's High School, and graduated from the University of Florida, with a B.A. in Interior Design from their school of Architecture. A funeral mass will be conducted Monday, July 30, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday July 29, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by husband, Gettis A. Henderson and grandson, James Russell Kennedy. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Henderson Levy of Tampa and Barbara Henderson Moyer of Santa Rosa, California and son-in-law J. Leonard Levy, and seven grandchildren, Jana Levy Barrett and husband Richard, Ann Levy Skalaski and husband Charles of Ridgewood, N.J., Tricia Levy Ritsch and husband Bob of Alexandria, Va., Joy Henderson Levy of Tampa, Fla., David Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy and Mark Moyer all of California. Mrs. Henderson known to many as Pat, was active in the PTA having held office at Mitchell, Wilson, and Plant. She was very active in Tampa Little Theatre including leads in several plays. She had been an active member of the Davis Island Community Church. Private graveside services are planned.
