GARRETT, Wortley E., 88, of Zephyrhills, passed away on Friday at East Pasco Hospice House in Dade City. Mr. Garrett is survived by two sons, Roy and Lee (Walter); three step-daughters, Nancy Maskew, Claudette Goodman and Anita Nelson; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. GUTCHER, John, age 63, passed away July 19, 2001. John is survived by his wife, Clarissa `Ditto`; three sisters, Muriel Price, Geneva DeLaurier and Viola Berger all from Pembroke Ontario; six children, Kim Holme Mark Gutcher of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; Tammy and Roger Pierce or Middleburg, Fla.; Allan and (Carol) Gutcher of Tampa, Fla.; Michael and (Jennifer) Steele of Halstead, Kan.; and Davi d Gutcher of Tampa; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Gutcher was born in Pembroke, Ontario and moved to Tampa in 1976. Mr. Gutcher was owner of Gutcher's Quickprint in south Tampa and a world-renowned and John's talent took him all over the United States and Canada to paint and teach, several of his pieces now hang in private collections. His unique design and decorative pieces ha ve won national awards and have been published in Artists #Florida, Paintworks Paintworks Special Christmas Issue, Paintworks Holiday Angels, Let's Paint, Painting Decorative Artists Workbook and The Decorative Painter. He has also appeared on PBS television and has eight videos with Perfect Pallette Mr. Gutcher was a member of Tampa Realistic Artists, Florida Society of Decorative Artists, Societ y of Decorative Painters, Ambassador for Royal Brush and a lector at Christ the King Catholic Church His family will receive friends Sunday, July 22 from 3:00- 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 3:00 p.m., Marsicano Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd. Tampa. A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow Flowers are accepted or you can make a charitable contribution to the Franciscan Center or the foundation being established by his family for the continuation of art for children.

HACKNEY, H. Morton, 88, of Valrico passed away Thursday, July 19, 2001. Preceded in death by his wife, Louette Crowe Hackney. He is survived by his brother, Leland Hackney and his wife, Norma of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Gwen Robson of West Palm Beach, Fla.; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Lawrence Drew of Reading, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born in Riverview to a pioneer Hillsborough County family, agraduate of Hillsborough High School and attendedthe University of Tampa. Morton served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Cruiser New Orleans during WWII.He was a partner in the Crowe-Hackney Furniture Company until his retirement. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch or Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in his memory.

HARVILL, Louise B., 71, of Lithia, passed away July 21, 2001. She is survived by her husband, William `Bill` Harvill of Lithia; one daughter, Pauline Helen Polk of Lithia; one son Thomas Odell Harvill of Lithia; two sisters, Hilda Purvis of Lakeland and Mildred Powell of Keysville; three grandchildren, Andrew S. Polk, Jr., Mary A. Swilley, and Theodore S. Polk; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr s. Harvill was a lifetime resident of the area and owner of Bill and Louise's Nursey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. from Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

HILDRETH, Oren Keith, 76, passed away July 20, 2001. He is predeceased by his parents, Benjamin Malcolm and Mary Ethel Grimmer Hildreth. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sara Hildreth; two sons, Michael Keith Hildreth and his wife, Rhonda of Plant City and Bruce Clark Hildreth of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Mona Sue Hildreth Carey and her husband, Jack of Plant City; two brot hers, Malcolm Forrest Hildreth of Plant City and Howard Mercer Hildreth of Longwood, Florida; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Mr. Hildreth graduated from Plant City High School-class of 1943 and was the owner and operator of O.K Amoco Service for 25 years before retiring. He was a life member of the East Hilisborough Historical Society, a member of the R.B. Plant Model Railroad Histo rical Society, and docent at the Plant City Depot Visitors Center.Mr. Hildreth served his country during World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard, seeing duty in the South Pacific, and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Honorary pall bearers will be the Plant City High School class of 1943, Docents at the Plant City Depot Visitors Center and H.B. Plant model Railroad Historical Society. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 23, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, 1401 North Palm Drive, with Dr. Alan Beaver, and Dr. Duncan L. Gray officiating. HUMRPHEY, Leveta, 74, of Tampa, passed away July 20, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Humphrey was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda K. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd. Mrs. Humphrey will be sent to Sharp Funeral Home in Swartz Creek, Mich., for funeral services and interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.

MOYE, Malvie (Nita), age 80, of Tampa, died Thurs. July 19, 2001. Survived by her two sons, R.E. Moye, III, of Tampa and Jack Moye, of Brooksville, FL., a daughter, Anita Waresak, of Longwood, FL., and three grandchildren, Tommy Moye and Liane Moye, both of Tampa and Joe Waresak, of Longwood, FL. Mrs. Moye was a Navy nurse during WWII and was a registered nurse at Tampa General Hospital for man y years. She was a Methodist and a member of American Legion Post #134. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday (today) at the funeral home.

MYERS, David Edward, 63 of New Port Richey, died Thursday, July 19, 2001 at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. Survivors include his wife, Angela; three sons, Scott of Ft. Lauderdale, James, and Allen, both of New Port Richey; two daughters, Cindy Cole of Mount Dora and Krystal Postiglione of Hawaii; two sisters, Carol Parrish and Sharon Myers both of Plant City, Fla. There are four grandchildren. He came here 23 years ago from his native Tampa. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Seven Springs. He was employed at Community Hospital of New Port Richey for 25 years as a surgical technician. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. Funeral services will be held Monday at Seven Springs Baptist Church, New Port Richey. Internment to follow in Bloomingdale Community Cemetery, Valrico. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

PITTS, Annie M., 78, of Lutz passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Pitts and daughter, Karen S. Pitts. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra J. Pitts of Lutz and Judy A. Middleton and husband, Rick of Summerville, Ga.; granddaughter, Kimberley A. Harris of Riverview; great-grandchildren, Joseph S. Harris, Amanda S. Harris and Jessica M, Harris, all of Riverview; sisters, Carmel M. Cone of Valrico, Eloise Davis of Tampa, Bessie Lyle of Tampa, Audrey Mooney of Tampa and Sharon Newman of Thonotosassa. Born in Tampa, Mrs. Pitts was a lifelong resident of the Tampa area. She was of the Methodist faith. She worked for Havatampa Inc., Cigar Manufacturing for over 50 years and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. The family will receive frien ds Sunday from 3-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sue Haupert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

RAGO, Randall P., M.D., 42, of Tampa passed away on Monday, July 16, after a long battle with lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, Jeana; their three sons, Isaac, Avram, and Hinton; his parents, Robert and Beatrice of Jupiter, Florida; his sister, Cynthia Lima of Dublin, Ohio; and his brothers, Robert of Westin, Florida, and Ronald of Jupiter, Florida. Loved and respected by his patients and s taff alike, Dr. Rago was a medical oncologist in the Genitourinary Oncology Program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. He had a special interest in the treatment of hormone refractory prostate cancer. He received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School, Camden, New Jersey, and after completing a residency and fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, he joined Moffitt in 1998. In addition, he worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Oncology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. His colleagues and coworkers will remember him as an excellent physician. He brought a high level of integrity to his personal and professional relationships. He was a warm, generous, down-to-earth man who did not let his cancer sap his energy or enthusiasm for his family or patient care. He was, above all, a family man, proud of his wife and children. He loved to travel and get to know new exotic places together with his wife. He made tremendous contributions to the interdisciplinary oncology team at Moffitt, and he will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of Dr. Rago's life in a memorial service to be held Wednesday, July 25, at 5:00 p.m. in the Moffitt Research Center auditorium. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made in Dr. Rago's name to the H. Lee Moffltt Cancer Center & Research Institute Foundation Randall Rago Memorial Fund for Prostate Cancer.

ROBBINS, Natalie J. of Sun City Center, died on July 17, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Robbins, and her daughter, Donan Flood. She is survived by her beloved daughter Donan's husband, Ted Flood of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, William E. Robbins and his wife, Jacquelyn of Cicero, N.Y.: by daughter Susan Felt and her husband Edwin Felt of Perth, Ontario, Canada; and by e ight grandchildren. She was amember of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Sun City Center. A memorial service will be held in the ballroom at Aston Gardens, 1311 Aston Gardens Court, Sun City Center on Tuesday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. John Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Syracuse Baptist Church, 420 Main Street South, North Syracuse, N.Y. 13212, or to the American Heart Association.

ROBINSON, William Floyd, 87, of Winter Haven, died July 20, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

RODRIGUEZ, Maria`Luisa`, Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 92, went to meet her Lord on July 14, 2001. She was born in Tampa, at Palmetto Beach on August 16, 1908 to the late Salustiano and Valeriana Piniella from Asturias, Spain. She had three sisters, one surviving Candida Guastella and a niece Dalia Alexander both of Tampa. She lived in West Tampa and worked for 50 years as a cigarmaker. Luisa was predeceased by her son Jerry Rodriguez Sr. and is survived by her daughter Licia Sessums, son-in-law Dr. John Y. Sessums and daughter-in-law Mary Noriega Rodriguez. She had eight grandchildren and their spouses Nury and Bill Darrow, Ania and Dreux Grever, Jeri and Robert Menendez, Jerry and Sandra Rodriguez Jr., Kara and Eric Crall, Eric and Cyndi Sessums, Dana and Ivan Nav arro and Ryan and Raygan Sessums. She had 17 great-grandchildren Evan and Hannah Crall, Sydney Navarro, Austin and Grant Sessums, Stephen, Kristen and Lauren Darrow, R.J., Mark and Brian Menendez, Megan, Melissa and Daniel Grever and Alejandra, Mariana and Jerry Rodriguez III. Luisa was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where her service was held. Our Abuela Luisa will be loved and missed always and forever by her family.

ROSCHE, Mrs Leo K., age 75, of Tampa, passed away July 20, 2001. She is survived by her son, Vincent R. Rosche, Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Vicky Cundiff of Owensboro, KY., Jennie Rosche, Candy Rawls, both of Tampa, Fla., and Jon Kemman of St. Augustine, Fla.; sisters, Nell Kostello and Camile Garrison both of New Orleans, LA.; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs Rosche was of th e catholic faith. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be Monday, July 23,2001 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

SELPH, Helen Virginia, 91, of Plant City, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2001. Mrs. Selph is survived by her son, Joseph Selph and his wife Barbara of Wilmington, North Carolina; her nephew: Charles Beaty of Plant City; three grandchildren: Bobby Selph and Ms wife Joyce, Lori Bright and her husband, Randy; David Selph; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jami Bright. Mrs. Selph was in the US Army-WAC, had a BS in music education, a member of Jean Peters Circle, choir member, American Legion Auxiliary member, has a Victory Medal for World War II, and a good conduct medal. She was a Hillsborough County Teacher for 23 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Plant City. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and services will be held an Saturday, July 21, 2001, at 11:00 A.M. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. SULLIVAN, Jeremiah Edward, 92, of Tampa passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann Sullivan; son, Kerry Sullivan; daughters, Margaret Cote and husband Eugene and Selma Dillon; grandchildren, Jerry and Stacie Cote, Katrina Dillon, Cindy, Bonnie and Prissy Cagle. Mr. Sullivan was born in Peabody, Massachusetts and was a retired US Air Force Veteran. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
