A funeral service will be held October 10 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. GLADEAN, Joy Blume, age 76, of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. died Saturday October 6, 2001, at Largo Medical Center. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Gladean moved to Florida in 1983. Preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Blume, who died as a result of Lou Gehrig's Disease.Gladean is survived by two sons, Stephen Blume of Clearwater, Fla. and Daryl W. Blume of Largo, Fla.; and two daughters, Debbie Blume (Coia) of Clearwater, Fla. and Lisa Blume Monago of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Doug Walter of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and three sisters, Marlene Beckhart, Patricia Klefot and Monzelle Quire all of Louisville, Ky. GRAY, Rosalind Cummings, age 60, born July 23, 1941 in Tampa, Fla., died on Thursday, October 4, 2001, after a long bout with lung cancer. Rosalind is survived by her husband of 30 years, Prof. Kenneth E. Gray of Duquesne Law School; by her son, Kenneth E. Gray, Jr., an investment manager for the Overseas Private Investment Corp., an agency of the United States Government in Washington D.C.; a brother Douglas W. Cummings, Sr., of Orlando, Fla. and two nephews, Douglas W. Jr., and Alexander Cummings. On February, 13, 1971, she married Kenneth E. Gray and on September 22, 1972, their only son Kenneth E. Gray, Jr., was born. Rosalind was a 1959 graduate of Plant High School. For a number of years, she was an Executive Secretary to Carl Friedrich, Prof. of Government at Harvard Univ. Rosali nd received her Bachelor's Degree in 1976 from Loyola Univ. of Chicago and after moving to Pgh., she received her MBA at Duquesne Univ, in 1985. During her years in Pgh., she was actively involved in Public School Governance in Mt. Lebanon, taught various Business courses at the Univ. of Pgh., and for a number of years was the Pgh,. Administrator for the SMH Bar Review Co. and in the mid 1990's wa s house manager for the Upstairs Theater in Bloomfield/Garfield. GREEN, Rev. PhilipNorman, 85, of Tampa passed away October 4, 2001 in Niagara Falls, Canada. Rev. Green is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rev. Montez Green, Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God; daughter, Norma Lamberton and her husband, Donald of Niagara Falls, Canada; two grandchildren, Philip Wayne Werner and Debra Montez Nicholls; four great grandchildren Kristen and Jonathan Nicho lls and Derek and Shyanne Werner. Rev. Philip Green was known as the talking Bible, having read the entire Bible through over 40,000 times. HILL, George Frank, 60, of Temple Terrace, Fla. died Friday, October 5, 2001 at University Community Hospital, Fletcher. Survived by loving family. Born in Athens, Ga., he came here in 1968 from Atlanta. He was currently a Sergeant with the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office, where he had served for 30 years. Buckles, 87, of Tampa, passed away October 2, 2001. She is survived by her niece, Mary Kay Sousa of Budapest, Hungary and her nephew, Warren Buckles of Madison, Wis. Mrs Reaney taught in the Hillsborough County school system at H.B. Plant and Robinson High Schools. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Pilot Club of Tampa. A brother, Harry Bush and sister, Catherine Ruszczyk, of East Syracuse, New York also preceded him in death. His wife, Gladys Lenora of 52 years; three daughters, Terry Temple of Zephyrhills, Florida, V irginia (Arthur) Tooke of Zephyrhills, Florida, Betty Jane (Weslie) Tooke of Oneida, New York and three sons, Hubert, III of Ruther Glenn, Virginia, George of Zephyrhills, Florida, Martin (Marty) of Canastota, New York survive him. He has 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Genevieve Hill of Canastota, New York, Phyliss Rank of Zephyrhil ls, Florida, Shirley Pelkey and Pearl Bush of East Syracuse, New York, also survive him. Mr. Bush moved from Canastota, New York to Zephyrhills, Florida in 1971. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was self-employed for 30 years in Florida. He was a member of NCHA, Good Sams, Sertoma Ranch, American Legion, DAV AIS and VFW for many years. A Funeral Service will be held, at Whitfield Funeral Home Chapel 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2001. Following the service Mr. Bush will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. She is survived by her husband, Richard `Dick` Hancock of Dade City; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty Green and Hobart Jones of Barboursville, Va., Cindy and Jim Stone of Spartenburg, S.C. and Julie and Ricky Gordon of St. Joe, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Lea Hancock of Dade City; 10 g randchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Vicky Green Speight and Nancy Hancock. She was born April 23, 1931 in Greensboro, N.C. and moved to this area in 1967 from Galveston, Texas . She married Richard Dale Hancock, a member of the prominent pioneer family in Pasco County, October 25, 1962 in Wilmington, N.C. She was a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer at Pasco Regional Medical Center. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at the Townsend House Cemetery. A native of Harrisburg, Pa., she moved to this area in 1992 from New York. She was a waitress and was Baptist.

Mrs. Bethke is survived by two sons, Keith Bethke of Zephyrhills and Jan Bethke of Swedesboro, New Jersey; one daughter, Marilyn and husband Walter Salentina of Williston, Florida; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin she moved to this area 15 yea rs ago from Thompson, Georgia. She was a retired bookkeeper in Real Estate and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Hays officiating. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to the area in 1979. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Korean conflict; He was a member of American Legion #118, Moose Lodge 2276, and Eagles 1156 all of Zephyrhills; a member of the Bull Hendry Chapter 11th Airborne Division Association; a volunteer fireman in Pennsylvania for thirty-four years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zephyrhills. A Memorial mass will be celebrated by Father John Hays on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zephyrhills. A native of Canada, she moved to this area in 1996 from New York. She was a homemaker and was Catholic.
