RAZOR, William `Bill`, 70, of Winter Haven, Florida died of a stroke October 21, 2001. Survivors include mother; Clara Razor, wife; Bobbie Razor, son; Kenny Lundgren, stepsons; Eddie Smith, Paul Smith, and David Smith, daughters; Kendra Sue McDermeit, Carolyn Moody, sisters; Marjorie O'Brien and six grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. THOMAS, Marian D. 76 of Thonotosassa, Fla. Passed away October 19, 2001. She is survived by her brother, Fred Thomas of Tokyo, Japan; two sisters, Jeanne Dennison of Summerfield, Fla and Louise Gower of Thonotosassa; nieces, April and Joann; nephews, Mark and Scott. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens, Hwy 301 in Thonotosassa. Hillsboro Memorial 689- 8121

Turner, Linda Lee, 52, passed away at home on October 18, 2001. She was survived by her husband, who was also her best friend, Arthur McQuirtor. Also survived by her sisters-in law, Thandrea Carson and Janelle McQuirtor both of Chicago, IL and numerous nephews and nieces as well as a strong circle of close friends and extended family. Linda and Art came to Florida from Chicago in 1984. Linda wa s the reservations manager for the Travel Lodge in Tampa, FL. A memorial service and wake will be held in her honor on Wednesday October 24 from 6 pm till service time at 8:00pm. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. WALLIS, Guy Clifford, 80, of Tampa, died October 20, 2001, following an extended illness. He was a native of Waycross, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Edith and son, Bill. He was preceded in death by daughter, Olivia and son, Cliff. Guy graduated from Auburn in 1942, enlisted in the Air Force, and became a pilot of C46 and C47's. He flew in China as a member of General Claire Clennault's F lying Tigers. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross Air Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge. Guy completed a total of twenty-four years service in the Air Force. He was a engineer with Southern Underwriters. Guy was a member of Bayshore Baptist Church and the Togetherness Sunday School Class. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23rd in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bayshore Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.

CANTY, John T. Sr., 78, died October 13, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jo Ann; three sons, John Jr., Michael, and Richard; six daughters, Susan Bastedo, Donna Canty, Jill Appel, Patricia Canty, Robin Bowers, and Ruth Blake; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother; and four sisters.

CARDOSO, Doris Ann 68 of Zephyrhills, passed away October 15, 2001. Survivors include her husband Henry; two sons Rick and Greg Fry of Decatur, Ill.; step-son, Randy Cardoso of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Joyce Fry and Susan Squires both of Decatur, Ill.; four step-daughters, Rhonda Smith of Grand Cayman Islands, Roxanne Leto of Tampa, Rosella Nelson of St. Petersburg and Rochelle Tagliarin i of Tampa; sister, Viola Arndt of Gibsonton; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; A native of Decatur, Ill. Mrs. Cardoso lived in the Tampa area from 1968 until 1995. She was a homemaker and a Christian. Her memberships included the Elkettes No. 2731 of Zephyrhills. A memorial service will be held Thursday 3:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home 689-8121

COLLIER, John Baiden, 88, of Plant City, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Rena Lucille Collier of 59 years; two sons, Roger Collier and his wife, Iris of Seffner and Larry Collier and his wife, Beverly of Plant City; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; predeceased by Johnny Collier in 1983. Mr. Collier was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Dove r; he was in the Army in World War II and earned a purple heart and fought in four battles. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Friday, October 19, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church of Dover, with Rev. Bob Keck and Brother John Dorough officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The family requests, that those who wish, may, in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the 1st Baptist Church of Dover Building Fund in the memory of John Baiden Collier.

GRIMM, Lucille `Lucy` Parker, 69, of Seffner passed away Monday, October 15, 2001. She is survived by her husband, John Joseph Grimm; daughter, Ramona L. Howe; three brothers, Robert, Clarence and Warner Parker; two sisters, Midge Solavak and Rose Minton; and two granddaughters. Lucy has resided in the Tampa area since 1949, she worked at the Piccadilly Cafeteria in Brandon since the opening 12 years ago. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Esteban R. Morejon, a retired roofer and owner of E.M. Roofing Company. She is survived by one son, in Tampa, Esteban Morejon, Jr.; one daughter in Miami, Arlene Martinez and her husband Eduardo; five s isters, Olga Alvarez, Josephine Morejon, Dalia Rodriquez, Alice Hamilton and Nora Madden; five grandchildren, Victoria, of Tampa, Eduardo II, Antonio, Cesar and Julio all of Miami. She was a housewife and a Catholic. She was a wonderful mother and sister. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 19, 9:00 a.m. at the Centro Asturiano Memorial Park Cemetery. REASEBECK, Minnie L. (Sellner), 86, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, October 11, 2001 at Carrington Place. Survivors include granddaughter, Donna Leal of St. Petersburg; grandson, Donald Kuhn III of Jacksonville, Fla. and five great-grandchildren. She was born in Camp Springs, Md. She worked as a bookkeeper for several corporations including the Shoreham Hotel and the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Washington D.C. In later years, she was employed by the St. George's County Board of Education (MD) as an aide on a school bus for physically disabled children. Upon her retirement in 1974 she moved to St. Petersburg. She was a Methodist. Cremation by the Neptune Society of Palm Harbor. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md.

TOSCANO, Joseph, Dr., `Doc`, passed away Monday, October 15, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Margie; his sisters, Jenny Lindeburgh and Fay Buono of New Jersey; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sterling and Lillian Ruark of Sun City and Joseph and Diana Knapp of N.J. and nine nieces and nephews. He was the original drummer in Stan Kenton's Band in the 1940's and other big bands of that era. He was with the Bob Hope Show for two years before joining the Navy in World War II. He played with the Sun City Big Band as well as his own little band called The Rythmaires. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He was patriotic and loved his country. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
