TRIPLETT, Mamie Jones, 70, passed away October 21, 2001 in Zephyrhills. Survived by her husband, Wendell of Zephyrhills, and a loving family.

WHITEHEAD, Gerald Graham, passed away, quietly in his 97th year at his residence at Westbrooke Manor in Zephyrhills on Friday, October 19, 2001. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna E. Whitehead, and mourned by his brother, Dr. Dan Whitehead of Blanket, Texas , and his sister, Peggy Callahan of Flower Mound, Texas . Gerald was born on November 29, 1904 in Blanket, Texas . He was greatly loved, and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held at Westbrooke Manor, 6701 Dairy Road, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2001. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the Hernando/Pasco Hospice, 7066 Fort King Rd., Zephyrhills, FL 33541.

MADILL, Edwin I. `Ed` 86, of Dade City, Fla. died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 in Dade City. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Florrie Mae Ansley Madill, who was his high school sweetheart, Dade City, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nina Sue and Gerald Nash, Conyers, Ga., and Carol Lee and Richard Lockey, Tampa, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Carolyn Madill, Dade City, Fla.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Mae and Les Dail, Magnolia, N.C., Mary Lee Parsons, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Ninetta and Hall Powell, Roswell, Ga.; two sisters- in-law, Inez Madill Homosassa, Fla., and Mickie Madill, England; three grandchildren, Suzy Casillo, Steve and Jennifer Nash, and Richard and Jody Nash; four great-grand- children, Chelsea Kailee and Rebeka Casillo, and Hogan Lee Nash; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren B. and Nina Mae Madill; and two brothers, Dr. James Madill and Capt. Lawrence Madill. Mr. Madill was born December 26, 1914 in Covert, Mich. and moved to Dade City in 1918. He was an active businessman in the surrounding community having established Madill Furniture Store, Madill Clothing Store, and the Pasco Motors Automobile Dealership. He was active in the development of Hyland Farms, Fisherman's Cove, and other real estate. He owned Citrus Groves and Ranch property and was a pilot for American Air Lines. He loved hunting, fishing, and rose gardening. He was the Former Mayor of Dade City and served as a City Commissioner from 1948-1952. He was Chairman of the Florida Game & Fresh Water Fish C ommission from 1960-1964, was past president of the Dade City Kiwanis Club, and served in many other organizations. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2001 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday (tomorrow) from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Ferguson Funeral Home in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Hospice of Pasco, Inc. c/o 13933 17th Street, Dade City, FL 33525.

O'HEARN, William S., Sr., 71, of Dade City, Fla., died October 23, 2001 at home. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, W. Stephen, Jr. of N. Franklin; two daughters, Kathleen Pepin of Papillion, Neb. and Margaret Mahaney of Port Orchard, Wash.; and five grandchildren. A native of Norwich, Conn., he moved to Dade City in 1988 from N. Franklin, Conn. He retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation in 1980. He was an active member of the Family Motor Coach Association and traveled in a converted 1966 MCI Bus. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on Monday, October 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. James Bell officiating. URSIC, Rudolph, 88, passed away October 22, 2001 in Zephyrhills. Survived by his wife, Virginia of Zephyrhills. He was preceded in death by his parents; father, Ignac; mother, Frances; two brothers, Vincent, and Ignac Jr., and a sister, Mary Sivey. Mr. Ursic was born April 14, 1913 in Austria. He came to America in 1920 with his parents, brother and sister. He lived in Kensington, Pennsylvania , until moving to Florida 20 years ago. He lived in Travelers Rest in Dade City, then to Zephyrhills. He was a friend of the Westminister Theological Seminary, and a Kiwanian.

VOET, June H., 81, of Ridge Manor, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at home. Survivors include her husband, Gerald; one daughter, four sons, one sister, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandsons. A winter visitor from Michigan since 1994, she was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church on Friday, October 26, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or Hernando-Pasco Hospice.

ARCURI, Bella F., age 92, lifelong resident of Tampa passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2001. Mrs. Arcuri was a cherished `Nana` and devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Peter F. Arcuri. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Josephine and Frank Mendez of Tampa and Rosemarie and Gene Baker of Brooksville; sister, Mary Gonzalez of Tampa; grandchildren, Frank Mendez, Karen Dee Stephenson, Eugene Frank Baker and his wife, Ann Marie, and Denise Marie Mills and her husband Roger; great-grandchildren, Kristen Dee Stephenson, Vanessa Marie Mills, Jordan T. Baker, Zachary T. Baker, Brandon Mills, and Steven Mills. A Catholic Mass for the repose of her Soul will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Alfonso Pagliara celebrating. Interment will follow at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park. Pall bearers will be Franklin E. Baker, Roger Mills, Frank Arcuri, Frank Campisi, Frank Noto, Steven Mills and Richard Valdez. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of ones choice.

BENSON, Nadine E.`Granny`, age 78 of Valrico, Florida, went to be with the Lord October 22, 2001. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Ralph W. Benson; children: Sharon Phillips, Brenda Fox, and Bill Benson; brothers: Robert Wetherington and Earl Wetherington; sister: Thelma Ripple; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Nadine lo ved the Lord, life, and her many beloved family members and friends. She will be sadly missed and loved eternally, knowing we will meet again with our Father in Heaven. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2001, 2:00 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Chapel with Pastor Pete Vande Weghe of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. T he family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. BLOCH, Richard A. `Dick` of Tampa passed away October 22, 2001 at the age of 82. He is survived by his, wife, Louise Griffin; children, Bonny and Ric Bloch; sister Adelaide Morris; seven step-children and nine grandchildren. Born and raised in Tampa and known to his many friends as `Dick Bloch`. Many of the locals will remember him from his TV show in the early days of television in Tampa, know n as `The Two Dukes and a Dot` where he appeared in the comedy trio on WSUN, `The Bobby Lord Wholesome Bread Hour`. Dick attended Wilson Jr. High School and was a graduate of Plant High School in 1939. Dick attended college at Georgia Tech and served in the Navy during World War II. He retired with Sears and Roebuck after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Egypt Temple Shrine in the Drum and Bugle Corp. He also volunteered at the Shriner's Children's Hospital. Dick also served as the former President and Treasurer of his local Shrine known as the Land O' Lutz Shrine Club. He was extremely involved in many of the fund raising events. Dick was also very proud to be a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and member of the #25 Hillsborough Lodge, later demitted to Swartsez Lodge #251. He was a member of the Tampa Hospital & Welfare Council and Tampa Jay Cees. At the time of his death he was a very valued employee of the Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Home in Lutz, Fla. A special thanks to his personal Physician and dear friend Dr. Ernie Reiner. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or Pasco Hospice in his memory.

CARLSON, Leonard `Bart` Jr., 41, of Tampa passed away Sunday, October 21, 2001. He is survived by two sisters, Gloria Simcic and Brenda Carlson-McCarthy; a niece; a nephew; a great niece; and four aunts. He was born in Titusville, Fla. and has resided in Tampa most of his life. Bart graduated from Robinson High School, studied at the University of Cambridge, England, Florida State University st udy program in Florence, Italy and he graduated from the University of Florida. He traveled extensively in Europe, Central America and the U.S. Mr. Carlson was a member and usher for Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Tampa Museum of Art where he was also a docent; he served as a planner and volunteer for Tampa Yacht & Country Club Ye Mystic Crewe of Gasparil la. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2001 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 til 3:00 p.m. at the Marsicano-B. CARRIER, Hazel Cobb Carrier, age 95, of Tampa passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 23 years, Ernest Carrier and her brothers, Irwin Cobb and Hugh Cobb. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Nancy Carrier of Tampa; brother, Francis H. Cobb of Bethesda, Md., and granddaughter, Kathryn Hough. Mrs. Carrier came to Tampa thr ee years ago from Alexandria, Va.. She was an elementary school teacher, principal and of the Methodist faith. A memorial service will be held Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

FENNER, Mrs. Frankie E., formerly of Westport, N.Y., died Thursday, October 18, 2001, at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center, Auburn, N.Y. She is survived by son, Leonard F. Fenner Jr. of Auburn and an son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nann Fenner of Plant City, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Harris Fretwell of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a sister, Elsie Bailey of Tully, N.Y.; five gra ndchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She formerly worked at the Agway Egg Plant, Weedsport, N.Y. for 20 years retiring in 1973. She is a 51 year member of Weedsport Grange, she and her her husband, Leonard F. Fenner Sr. who died in 1986, owned and operated their own farm in Weedsport for 45 years. She was a member of the Emerson Church of Christ, Emerson, N.Y. Funeral services were Tuesday.

GALLAR, Cynthia Elizabeth Harper, 54, of Tampa, passed away October 22, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Melvin M. Gallar; father-in-law, Manuel Gallar; son, Michael and grandson, Justin; her parents, Roy and Katie Harper; sisters, Roi R. Harper and Julia Harper Watson and nephew Harper Meaney; many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina and has been a resident of Tampa for 20 years. She and her husband are owners of Gane's Hardware in Drew Park. She graduated from Cox High School, Virginia Beach, Va. and graduated from North Carolina State University, Raleigh N.C. The family thanks the nurses of 3 East of St. Joseph's Hospital and the Cardiac Care Unit, especially to Dr. Enrique Lopez-Cuenca, Dr. Carlos Rozas, Dr. Jack Breen, Dr. Humberto Coto, Dr. Jose Cura, Dr. Julio Lautersztain, Dr. Barbara Bachman and Dr. Luis Ycaza.
