He is survived by his wife, Betty Morris Smith; three daughters, Judy Ciccarello and husband Laurent S., Millie Lala and husband John, Wanda Tinker and husband Jerry; five grandchildren, Laurent N. Ciccarello and wife Heather, Carissa Ciccarello, Angela Lala, Joh nny Lala, Josh Tinker; three great-grandchildren: Luc Ciccarello, Sarah Ciccarello, Jordan Campbell; sister, Bertha Ann Ward; two brothers, Donald J. Smith, Gordan W. Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Mildred Booker Smith and Joseph Harrison Smith, Sr. and two brothers Joseph Harrison Smith, Jr. and Gerald Smith. In lieu of flowers the family req uests donations be made to the American Lung Association. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. TOUZEAU, William David, `Bill`, 83, of New Port Richey, died October 27, 2001. Survived by wife, Lucille; two sons; four daughters; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Michels & Lundquist F.H.

WEGNER, Harold L., 63, of Zephyrhills, formerly of Sandusky, Mich., died Wednesday, October 24, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nellie; a sister, Doris (Warren) Barnes of Lexington, Mich. and Sarasota; two sons, James (Judy) of Indianapolis, Ind., and Edward (Ali) of Christchurch, New Zealand; a daughter, Carol Lynn (Larry) Van Norman of Lapeer, Mich.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2001, at LOM #2276 in Zephyrhills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LOM #2276.

WHIDDEN, Mark Austin, age 52, lifelong resident of Tampa died Saturday, October 27, 2001. He was preceded in death by his brother, H. Levan Whidden. Survivors include his beloved wife of 26 years, Sandra; his parents, Reverend Harry and Helen Whidden of Tampa; son, Mark Austin Whidden Jr. of Tampa; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Richard Atteberry of Tampa; brothers, Paul Whidden of Connectic ut and Hal Whidden of Tampa; sister, Darleen Walden of Tampa and grandchildren, Amber Whidden, Daniel Atteberry and Cory Atteberry. Mr. Whidden was an eight year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a caseworker for the State of Florida, Department of Revenue. He was a Baptist, a member of the West Shore Baptist church where he was a deacon and choir director. Funeral services will be held Today (Tuesday), 1:00 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa. Interment with full military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg.

A lifetime Brandon resident, retired central office equipment engineer wit h GTE after 42 years of service, a member of The Pioneers, a U.S. Army WWII veteran, served under General Patton and saw action in the Battle of The Bulge. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Limona Village Chapel, United Methodist Church. ALLEN, William Paul Sr., 68 of Riverview, passed away Monday, October 29, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Carol; three sons, William P. Jr. of Seffner, Kenneth F. of Tampa, Robert M. and wife Julie of Riverview; two brothers, Ricky and Jerry of Hope Mills, N.C.; one sister, Betty Louise of Hope Mills, N.C.; four grand- children, and three great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his d aughter, Gale Ann Allen Morin. He moved to the Tampa area in 1998 from Braintree, Mass.; was a U.S. Navy veteran and life member of VFW Post 1702 in Braintree. Services will be Friday, November 2, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. at the Stowers Riverview Chapel. The family will receive friends, Thursday, November 1, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Appel was born in Louisville, Ky. and moved to Dunnellon in 1992 from Tampa. She was a Realtor with First Realty of Dunnellon. She was a member of Mari- camp Road Church of Christ in Ocala, a member and secretary of Greater Dunnellon Historical Society, a member of Rainbow River Conservation, Inc. and a member of the Ocala-Marion Association of Realtors, Inc. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2001 at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon with Rev. Jeff Robison officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, Fla. BECKETT, Louise, 79, of Tampa passed away October 28, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Mary L. Partin and Clorinda Sapp, both of Tampa; one brother, John Pendley of Buford, Ga.; one sister, Agnus Amburgey; three grandchildren, Janice L. Davis, Robert A. Beckett, and John H. Sapp, all of Tampa; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beckett was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2001 at noon at the Garden of Memories Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

BODO, Joseph P., Sr., age 96, of Tampa, made his transition on Sunday, October 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife Rita M. Bodo, four sons, Dr. Joseph P. Bodo, Jr. and wife, Carolyn, George T. Bodo, James S. Bodo and Charles F. Bodo and wife, Joyce. He is also survived by sisters, Julia Aucker and Viola Klenzing, of Albuquerque, N.M., ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a nephew Wi lliam Fowler and wife Tamuel, of Tampa and other nieces and nephews. Mr. Bodo was born in Hungary, raised in Salem, Ohio, and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., attending the University of Pittsburgh. He married and had four sons. The family moved to Florida in 1947. He was a loving husband and loving father to his large family. He was a successful businessman, developing Antique Row on El Prado Blvd. He w as a member of Tampa Unity Church and active in Masonic activities. Mr. Bodo was a 32nd degree Mason and Chaplain Emeritus of Holyrood Lodge #257 F. & A.M. In October 1997, he was elected as Honorary Past Master in perpetuity. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2 in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Allen Moss, Minister of Tampa Unity will officiate. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, with Masonic services by Holyrood Lodge # 257 F. & A.M. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.

BRITTON, Harriet Ruth Smith, 87, of Tampa passed away Monday, October 29, 2001. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles. Harriet is survived by many nieces and nephews in Florida, Georgia, New York, Tennessee and North Carolina. She has resided in the Tampa area since 1960 coming from Syracuse, N.Y. She was employed as a secretary with R.C. Cola Company retiring in 1979 and she attended St. M ary's Episcopal Church where she was a member of St. Therese Guild. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 4311 W. San Miguel St. The family will receive friends from 4:45 til 5:45 p.m. at the church, with a reception to follow. Prayers will be offered 9:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Those who wish may make contributions to the St. Mary's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in her memory.

BRUMBAUGH, Robert Russell, 76, a resident of Plant City, passed away October 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Alice Brumbaugh of Plant City; his brother, Marion Brumbaugh of Coral Springs, Fla. and his constant companion, his dog, Holly. He was a resident of Plant City for six years coming from Ohio. He served in the US Army during World War II, was a recipient of the Purple Heart, and a graduate of Ohio State University. DAWSON, Jack P., of Tampa, passed away October 29, 2001. Survived by his wife, Julia Dawson; daughter, Sheila Sparger and husband, John; son, Gordon Dawson and wife, Susan; brother, Frank Dawson; sister, Marie Brace; grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Angela, Daniel and wife, Kathleen, John III, Nicholas, Greg and Gina; great-grandchildren, Madison, Nolan, Abrielle, Danielle and Alexandria. M r. Dawson was born January 29, 1922 in Alliance, N.C. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway. He was Past President of Interbay Little League, and was an Elder Emeritus and long time member of Peninsular Christian Church, and was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. Throughout, he stayed very active in his mili tary associations and attended all reunions with the men he served with during World War II. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Kent D. Riner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Cancer Center for Children.

Dennis; daughter, Annette Love and husband, Scott; son, Brian and wife, Paige; grandsons, Timothy and Andrew; granddaughters, Katherine and Meagan. She is also survived by her mother, Pauline Phillips; and two sisters, Carolyn King and Elaine Flatt. Juani ta was the Owner & Broker of Dennis Realty and Investment Co. for 28 years. He has resided in the Tampa area since 1972 coming from New Jersey. He was a general contractor, a U.S. Navy veteran and a Baptist.
