Hill and wife, Dale, Tampa; great aunt, Alfair Green; great uncle, James Green; nieces, Toni L. Harris and husband, Michael W. Harris of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Michele A. Hill of Miami Beach, Fla. nephew, Jeff D. Hill, T ampa; aunts and uncles, Robert L. Cole, Sr. and wife, Madelyne, Tampa, Thelma C. Acosta, Tampa, Willis James Cole (Billy), San Antonio, Texas ; Gladys C. Lang and husband, Bobby E. Lang, Tallahassee, Fla.; Cora Williams, Washington , D.C. and Julia Benberry, New York City; cousins, Bobby Cole, James Cole, Anthony Cole, Ancel Cole, Tony Cole, Carole Banks, James Williams, Ricky Williams, Angela Ward, Ronald Lang, Anthony Acosta and Alvin Acosta; and a host of other relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, November 3, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 29th Street, Rev. Abraham Brown, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral cortege will arrange from 160 Columbia Drive.

HINES, Ruth V., 57, Tampa, died October 30. 2001. Survived by sons and wives, Harold Jr. and Patty Hines and Daniel and Dawn Hines; daughters, Martha, Remona, and Ruth Ann and her husband, Roy, all of Tampa; two sisters; three brothers and six grandchildren. She was born in Tampa, and was a retired school bus driver for Hillsborough Co. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, at SWILLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1602 W. Waters Ave., Tampa. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

JONES, Phillip H., 73, died October 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Joan B. Jones; a daughter, Pamela A. Jones; a son, Charles B. Jones and a grandson, Christopher A. Jones. A lifelong Tampa resident, he graduated from Hillsborough High School, served as a Navy pilot for two years, and graduated from Stetson University. He worked at the Hillsborough County Health Department, and retired a s Director of Environmental Health. Memorial funeral services will be held at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 706 W. 113th Ave., Tampa, at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2001. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Clement's Memorial Fund in his memory.

KNOWLES, Ralph Joseph, Retired USAF Captain, 59, of the Philippines, died at James A. Haley VA Hospital, October 30, 2001. Survived by his wife, Anaclita; mother, Katheryn Evans; sons, Ralph Joseph Jr., Shaun and Robin; daughter, Vicki; sister, Kathleen; grandchildren, Miranda, Chantel, Trenton and Tory. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and friends from Miami and the Philippines. He was bor n in Miami, Fla. He graduated from Hialeah High School in 1960 and joined the USAF in 1961. He was stationed in many ports statewide and overseas, retired on May 31, 1985 and settled in the Republic of the Philippines. Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 5, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to be at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6:00 p.m.

LYNCH, Robert Lee, Jr., 69, of Tarpon Springs, died October 30, 2001. Survived by wife, Jareewan; five daughters; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

MacLAUCHLAN, Mr. John D., Jr., 84 of Riverview died at his residence on October 28, 2001 under the care of LifePath Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, D. Alan MacLauchlan and wife Louise and J. Richard MacLauchlan and wife Nancy, both of Riverview; Daughter, Bonnie A. MacLauchlan of Midlothian, Virginia and six grandchildren. Mr. MacLauchlan retired from Anheuser-Busch, Tampa Brewery. A memorial service will be held at St. John The Devine Episcopal Church in Ruskin on Monday, November 5, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lynde E. McMORROW, Elizabeth E., 83, died Wednesday, October 31, 2001. She is survived by a son, Luke F. and a sister, Janice. Loving sister and mother, she will be missed. National Cremation Society, Tampa.

MILLER, Louis J., 58, of Sun City Center passed away at Plaza West after a lengthy illness on October 30, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Susan; his children, Lisa Miller, Kerri (Scott) Pyles, Joy (Wayne) Brown, and Michael Miller; adoring grandfather of Alyssa. Also survived by his sister Mary Dubon, and loving in-laws Eleanor and Cliff Gottmann, Joe Dubon, Cliff and Karen Gottman n; nephews and many other relatives. A memorial service is planned for November 15, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. at The United Community Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, Good Samaritan Services or Sun City Center Emergency Squad.

OVERTON, Beverly, 54, of Tampa, died October 26, 2001. Survived by her daughter, Kim Carter; sister, Valerie Overton; brothers, Dwayne Franks, Neville Franks and Samuel Franks. She is survived by her husband Alberto Planas; sons, Juan Alberto and wife Adela; Tony and wife Ana Maria; Eduardo and wife Arleen; daughter, Maria Teresa Estrada and husband Roger; brothers, Francisco, Waldo and sister Hortencia Gomez-Montes; grandchildren, Roger Estr ada and wife Jaime; John Planas and wife Rachelle; Michael, Kenny, Chris, Kristy- Anne, Brian, Melissa and Adam Planas, and Niki Estrada. Zoila was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens Group. A Catholic Funeral Mass for the repose of her soul will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 Himes Ave. N., with Monsignor Laurence Higgins Celebrant, Saturday, November 3 , 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and Family are requested to meet at Church. ROBERTS, Raymond Elzie `Buddy`, of Fort Meade, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Christine of Fort Meade; son, Jim Roberts of Plant City; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Rolla Marlatt of Tampa; grandsons, Ryan and Andrew Marlatt of Tampa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Lunenis Hendrick of Fort Meade, Betty and Ledger Carter of Orlando, Fla. and siste rs, Myrtice Kilpatrick of Lakeland and Gladys Patterson of Riverview. Mr. Roberts was a resident of Fort Meade for over 60 years. He was an accountant, a World War II Army Veteran, and Deacon with the Fort Meade First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 4, 2001 at First Baptist Church, Fort Meade. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7:00 p.m. at McLEAN FUNERAL HOME, Fort Meade.

RUBENSTEIN, Vivian, age 79, of Tampa passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2001. Survivors include her son, Neil Rubenstein of Tampa, daughter, Louise Mann of Tampa, and brother, Seymour Gutman of Tampa. Mrs. Rubenstein was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She was the owner of a Weight Watchers franchise and was among the pioneers in bringing the diet club concept to the bay area and was a former mem ber of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, MacDill Chapel, 605 South MacDill Avenue, Tampa, under the direction of Beth David Chapel. Rabbi Marc Sack will officiate. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to LifePath Hospice.

WILLHOITE, Jessie Kate, 84, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2001. She is survived by her son, Jack Willhoite of Tampa; brother, Donald Jordan of Sparta, Tenn.; sisters, Aileen Betchel of Canton, Ohio, Geraldine Tanner of McMinville, Tenn., Edith Henry of Sparta, Tenn.; and a granddaughter, Nicole Rutherford of Tampa. Mrs. Willhoite was a member of the Henderson Boulevard Church of Christ and worked for Eckerd Drug for 25 years. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial services will be held in Doyle, Tennessee.
